Slightly awkwardly waiting in the reception area while she juggles another client. Slightly disappointed at the lack of mindless magazines - No Self, Seventeen, Vogue or Glamour. Fortunately, there was Harpers Bazaar so I could catch up on Paris Hilton's latest. I did the face framing height lights - 8 foils but I think she gave me a few extra. Saved around $60 by skipping toner and a blow dry. Asked for thick highlights, and they looked a bit skinned but the stylist showed me how they were actually thick. She was right. She didn't show me my hair automatically at the end. I had to ask, but I did like what I saw.

It is a lovely new salon that houses other hair stylists, massage therapists, barber shop, a botox spot and more. You can have a spa day all in one place. He has his own private room with a sink and styling chair. There is a huge mirror so you can see what's happening. He even has this fancy vacuum that sucks up all the hair. London is a fabulous hair stylist. He always listens to my vision and delivers exactly what I requested. My hair looks and feels fabulous after he finishes working his magic. I would absolutely recommend London for all your hair needs, from a cut, color and style. There are restrooms down the hall that are always clean. And a nice waiting room when you first walk into the salon. Give London a call several weeks ahead of when you need your hair done as he stays very busy! You will not be disappointed.

SO the DAY OF my daughters appt May 14 I received a text telling me how its under new ownership and they have new & exciting supplies, however its going to be 65.00 more PLUS AN additional 25 if her hair is 1/2 way to her elbows!? The day of, hours before her appt! How unprofessional. I understand prices go up and they should have honored the price at the time if booking. And moving forward Id understand the price going up and could decide to stay or go. But hours before her apot being told its not a 20 increase, not 30 but 85! Thats insanity. So my daughter said"mom,she never does your hair how you want it anyway. Why pay that amount last minute AND it not be done properly." She was right. So they lost me, a repeat customer for years, lost my referrals, lost my daughter too. So I hope that 85 was worth it. Bad bad business. 85 increase hours before the appt when it was 160. Unbelievable. OH! I had sent a coworker here when I 1st started. She went a few times & stopped because she said she was being charged for a full foil and only received a partial for 1 visits. This one is close so I thought it'd give it a try…read more It's a little pricey for a basic men's haircut but the location is convenient and the ability to make an appointment helpful. I arrived about 10 minutes early and was seated at my appointment time. From there, however, everything went south and the barber refused to give me a haircut. So here's what happened. My hair is about as simple as one can get. I've worn it the same way since I left active duty in the Navy. Short and parted on the side. When asked what I wanted, I repeated the same info I've shared with barbers hundreds if not thousands of times. "Take it up off my ears and taper it in the back. A little off the top too please. I have a cowlick there in the front that comes in when it gets a little long, so please remove that.. It's pretty long right now" My barber immediately started questioning me on how many inches I wanted cut. My response was an honest, i don't know, i think my other barber used a number 2 but I don't really know. So then he proceeds to ask me if I want buzz cut claiming that's a number 2... Well no... I don't what a buzz cut. Maybe you could just start cutting and then if it's not short enough I'll let you know and you can take more? His response which is now bordering on rude... I can't do that... We're on a tight schedule. So I said I don't really know how many inches and then I asked him if he could still do this? At that point he said no and rudely pulled the smock off of me and my non haircut was over. So tomorrow I drive across town to my usual guy. Where he'll get the same instructions as above and I'll get the same haircut I normally get. For about $10 less too although that's my usual tip. So I can't comment on the haircut because I didn't get one. But I can comment on the rudeness and attitude I received at this business And if they respond here claiming otherwise, I would just remind them who's right when it comes to customers. This is only the third review for this place which I assume is new. Still time to turn it around, but I know I won't be back.

I don't remember how I came upon Envy Salon but I have been coming here ever since. I see Danielle who is phenomenal. The whole staff is fantastic and all help each other out with tasks such as shampooing, blow drying, or flat ironing. My second appointment was a week before my wedding and Danielle did a great job matching my red/auburn hair to the extensions I purchased. Recently, I wanted to do something drastic and cut about a foot of hair off and I've received many compliments on the shoulder length cut. Danielle does a great men's haircut too! The salon also has a bunch of great programs to get you discounts on your services as well. I highly recommend going here.

I arrived a couple minutes early and checked in. I was asked if I had an appointment and I said yes. They said nothing else and didn't offer me a beer or water like they do at Beach Blvd. Around 1:18pm when they took yet another person before me I asked someone how much longer it would be and she said "One of the girls should be available now I'll go get her." At 1:20pm I let same girl know I was leaving. Her response was, "She's coming up now". No I'm sorry, it was as if I was the jerk for leaving when they were 20min late without even letting me know. On top of that, where was she? It's not a big space, nobody was walking to the front so whomever was coming sure wasn't moving with any purpose. If I wanted a 1:30 appointment I would have scheduled it. I can understand when people run behind but you have to communicate that to the customer so that I can make a choice. An appointment is an agreement, I agree to be there on time, you agree to be available on time. 5-10min I can understand but 20min late for what's booked as a 25min appointment, that's ridiculous. What it tells me is that you don't value my time or business at all. I've never had this problem at the Beach Blvd location. Save yourself time and go there instead.
