Rafael has been doing my hair for probably at least 20 years & sometimes I have used other stylists from another company & when something goes wrong I can always rely on Rafael . Due to the insane price increases it makes it impossible to stay with these other " high end " salons , just because a salon is " fancy doesn't make them necessarily better . I only went here because great clips was closed. I was the only person there and I had a very specific hair style in mind, a sort of mullet with the sides cut short, I even had a picture. I should have known something was wrong because the lady (who made it a point to say she was the manager) already was trying to argue with me when I had a photo of what I wanted. And then she cut the back of my hair that I'd been growing out for a year specifically for this hair cut, when I told her she had messed up she tried saying the picture did not have hair on the back (again it was a mullet) and I was stuck with the most basic white boy hair cut I could have gotten. I looked like a normie and she still charged me 30$. Do not go here unless you like conformity I guess. read more

I'm pretty distrusting with the locations I visit to get my haircuts. You will either see me as a returning customer, or I'd rather go through the gruesome experience of cutting my own hair. Last Sunday I decided to give this location a shot, I gave them a call on the phone and was able to get checked in as a walk in (I was 5 minutes down the road). I walked in and was greeted and taken care of right away. Normally locations like this I tend to see it be a numbers game, cut you up and on to the next. I was blessed to have Stephanie take care of me and I have to say, I was thrilled with the attention to detail. She was able to help provide me with some guidance and continuously asked how I like the progress. Even though this may not become my weekly spot, I will definitely return when my barber and is out of town or I need a quick trim up. read more

Nothing was not explained to me, price, treatments etc. I felt relaxed and like I was with people who were going to take good care of me. It took me months to write this review. If I didn't cool off this would just be me bashing the stylist who botched my hair. In this moment I can just call the disaster what it was. I'm black which is import because typically black women want their hair done by other black women, so I came in to have my waist length hair cut into a shoulder length bob by Kenyetta. She was nice but she decided a razor would do get through my haircut quicker than scissors (which I did not ask for) and she shattered my ends in the process. My ends were so frayed I couldn't get a comb through them - the ends! This is very abnormal to me. I went back to get my hair fixed by Alex who explained that razor cuts are not for ethnic hair or at least really curly hair. I can understand a mistake so I wasn't mad at Kenyetta but I was a little perturbed that my shoulder length bob was now a middle of the war bob . The two star review is because I was walking around looking like brown broccoli until my hair grew out and Kenyetta didn't even call to apologize. Every time I come in mid-afternoon they make me feel as if I've disturbed them. One of them is abnormally rude, and is doing the business absolutely no favors by working there. Last time I was in She complained to me about customers walking in while she's cutting hair. Mind you, I was in the same boat as these customers minutes before. Why you would make someone trying to pay you money feel so unwelcome, I will never believe. She sits to the right of the front desk, and has the birds nest hair, consumers beware. I'd rather the other location in windermere better. She gave me the wrong hair color. As well as misgendered me even after i told her i'm a girl. Hi just came back from haircut (or hair carnage). I am travelling from bath,UK and decided to have a little hair trimming from orlando, this was my first ever hair cut in US and hopefully last. So to begin with I booked an appointment with ALEX @ 7.45pm. I reached there sharp maintaining British standards but they we all busy, I waited for another 15 mins and was handed over to EMMA, she was nice enough to listen to me and my hair story but all in vain since she did not follow what I wanted. Moreover what she did was not good at all, my hair lengths now differ from right and left, i am sure even lawn mowers are more considerate cutting the equal length but she was worst than that. Not only did she forget in doing what she was told to she completely did something else and failed at it beautifully. Since past 1 year I have been growing my hair to donate it to cancer patients all I wanted was layers and bit of trimmings but she ruined my dream and made me look miserable, I tipped her $3 maybe cause thats the way hair is cut in America, such a shame and disgrace, horrible and pathetic hair cutters(although the call themselves master stylist), rude attitudes and above all fugly!! read more
