Accolades to Christina for how my skin looked and felt when I left the spa. Stress, poor eating habits, and poor attention to my face left my skin mottled, blemished, and dull. After a deep-cleaning and deplaning (a defoliation method that removes dead skin cells and hair), I looked and felt like a new person. She even massaged my arms, hands, and feet (what bliss!). I walked out looking younger and with GLOWING skin! Christina is a skin care EXPERT having researched, developed, and marketed her own skin care line when living in Miami. Her current skin products are sourced overseas. I purchased an amazing cleanser (Silky Milk Cleansing Balm) and a skin-soothing moisturizing cream with Vitamin C, which I love, and am returning to purchase a vitamin C serum she used on me, as my skin continues to look fantastic and I want it to stay this way. I have had friends asking me if I have had "work done." My skin looks so good. I will definitely be returning. What a gem in downtown Winter Garden. Went here for a shampoo blowdry and will never go again. First off, my stylist I could tell was fresh out of school, she wasn't scrubbing my head right after I told her to get in there and that was the whole purpose for me. Right when layed down for a shampoo she drenched me with the water hose... secondly, she did not blow dry my hair correctly I had to ask her to dry it again! My roots were still damp by the time I left. I definitely should have asked how much cause $85 was NOTTTTT worth it here. I doubt the stylist was even licensed. read more

I'm very sad to say that I will not be returning to Bombshell like I had planned on doing, and it is 100% based on how I experienced a client treated by the owner. I had a balayage and cut. My hair turned out great. Pricey, but it was a long process. The shirt I wore ended up bleach-stained in the back by the end of my appointment. However, that wasn't a dealbreaker for me, and the value of the shirt was credited toward my mother's appointment after I suggested she come in because I was happy with how my hair turned out. Unfortunately, her hair resulted in a damaged, stringy, streaky mess from her first appointment. She went in for a correction, which was done by the owner. The "correction" was even worse than the initial appointment. Mistakes happen, everybody's hair responds differently to different processes, but I've never seen her look like that in my life. Inches lost due to damage and breakage. She lost her natural curl and volume. Clumps of matted hair have been falling out. She was left alone and overprocessed. Color not even close to what was discussed (which I was present for.) Her scalp? Raw, red and ravaged. Her hair destroyed. The subsequent response from the owner/manager was, to be honest, dismissive and unprofessional, and just rude. It's going to cost $550+ to attempt a save in both the health of her hair and scalp, as well as making her hair look presentable again. And of course, time. Heartbreaking experience with very poor customer service. Sad, considering I was going to go back, but behavior by management when confronted with the damage (and the overall terrible look) inflicted by two different stylists at Bombshell has shown that I cannot put my trust in this place of business. read more

Highly recommend this spot if you are in search of a haircut! Located in downtown WG with a large parking lot right across from the building. The inside is clean and cute and the staff is very friendly, always quick to offer you water while you wait. They have extremely reasonable prices! Right in the heart of Winter Garden near cafes, shops, and the farmers market depending when you're there. Every time I come here, it's more expensive than what it says when you book online. More than once I've gotten the feeling they forgot about me and go take a lunch during my coloring process. Charged me full price for a hair cut but didn't even ask to look at a picture and barely cut anything, it doesn't even look like I got a cut. read more

I decided to try this place because I was wanting to find a new stylist and colorist. The first women I went to made me sit in the chair for 5 hours and I got a chemical burn on my head! Before Christmas I had my hair done at Bombshell salon in Winter Garden for my second time. It was a complete nightmare. Artist Jenny had already done my hair once, so I knew she was familiar. We messaged back and forth for service (balayage), what I wanted(style), and price.. Day of service she changed my appointment time twice and had me come in earlier. When I arrived she apologized and told me it would be a few, mo problem. An hour later she was ready for me and began to explain how her client before me is too picky and doesn't want to pay more (for the 10 foil service) and hacked her own hair at home so she had to fix it. I was surprised, she just insulted her client... but I joked it off. In a quick convo we went over my pictures I showed her and told her how I wanted the cool lighter color and the melting effect at the top but wanted to keep it longer, not as short as pictures I'd shown. She agreed and began. I was quiet, uncomfortable, and nervous because the entire time noticing that she hadn't been using the same technique that she had previously used on my hair (balayage) when I had my first service done prior. I got a bunch of foils put in then a brush ran through my hair a few times once she removed them (not so carefully)... At the end I stayed quiet, I typically would get some beach wave curls styled in before my pics. This time she just ran the blow dryer and straightener to take out the frizz. It was dark so she took some pics inside with a ring light and looking in the mirror I had to force myself to smile... maybe it'll look different outside or something. That night I messaged her saying I was not satisfied and wanted it redone but ignoring me, many social media comments, Jenny telling me what I wanted she could not do, and conversations with the owner Molly and her not giving me an appointment date to fix my hair it's been 6 months and I still hate my hair. I've been insulted, accused of being a "cracker junkie", and had friends of Jenny gang up on me telling me I don't know what I'm talking about when it comes to hair. I may not be a professional hair stylist, but I am a professional. A medical professional and the last time I checked the board of nursing don't approve your license if you're "a junkie." I have worked my butt off to make sure people are well, getting well, and get the love/attention they need when they're down. Especially during this pandemic and the injustice judgement of others our country is experiencing. I got no professionalism from this salon and I will always share my story of how miserable it made me feel. Voted best in Winter Garden, but only vote I'll give bombshell salon is if you want someone to degrade you or make you feel stupid... then bombshell salon is the best choice for you. A 160$ service that was inquired/ agreed upon turned out to be $215 crash course in poor salon selection. Will not go back, will not recommend! Worst experience I've ever had with any style salon or business in general. The owner offered to try to fix my hair but only after insulting me herself and not giving me an appointment date or canceling the ones made. The app they use to schedule Vagaro she claims is not up to date and will deny appointments even when you call the salon and they say it's open. Not good business, not good people. read more

I wish I could have made it to my appointment but I was told 4 pm and they still had me waiting until after 5 ... it is now 5:10 pm ... she called me and said it would be even later when I was already headed there. Very disorganized and it's sad that you expect the client to change their plans when we have been waiting with limited time to make it happen. You would think you care about a new client but clearly they do not . I normally do not write complaints but this felt like she gave someone else my appointment time and would not admit it ... I was told everyone is an independent contractor so there is no manager which also sounds like bs. Arielle never acknowledged me or let me know it would take even longer once I got there ... which is just unprofessional overall. If there is an issue, give people options such as I'll give you a good rate or may I book you another day ? I had to ask her on the phone ... are you asking me to not come today ? Her response was if you like , but if you come it will be a awhile. I asked how long again ... and was told 30 minutes so I said that can be done... I still wasn't seen an hour and 15 min after. I run my own company and I would not treat someone like this. I am not sure if they did this because of my name and race, or simply because she is young and has very little experience dealing with people or hasn't been taught professionalism, but it felt like all of the above. The only reason I did not go to my regular salon was because she was closed for Covid. I tried with this one but won't be back. An apology or solution offered that would have benefitted me in some way or taken care of the time I had to wait would have been nice. read more

My family and I are relatively new to the area and I have been trying to find a salon for highlights, haircuts, etc. I've tried a few places in Windemere and Winter Garden but none that I liked enough to return. I thought I was destined to keep having my hair done back home in my home state. I was referred to Molly at Bombshell's in my previous visit and I'm thrilled to say, I returned. I loved the color as well as the cut and have gone back today, before the holidays, to have my hair touched up. In addition to doing a great job, as a huge bonus, Molly is so personable and sweet. I heard so many great things about bombshell so I made an appointment. The person I made an appointment with referred me to someone else bc I was looking to get a body wave in my hair. I appreciated that she had me come in to do a sample piece. Well once that was done I came in for my appointment. I was beyond excited as I watched so many customers leaving looking fabulous. The stylist and I chatted about what I was going for. I showed her multiple pictures and explained that I was looking for a soft loose wave. I shared that I didn't want to lose much length if possible. I wear glasses so when I get my hair done I can't see what the stylist is doing. Well she mentioned a few long layers. Prior to this experience my hair was below my shoulder. The long layers start at the top of my ear. The hair in the back has a super long layer and a short one, making the difference very evident. To me it makes me think mullet even thought I know it doesn't actually look that way and it's dramatic. Let's be honest a women's hair invokes a lot of emotions. The front of my hair didn't take and is straight and has really obvious long layers. Basically the "waves" are really tight on the rest of my head. It looks horrible. I did reach out to the stylist and mentioned the layers were off and I might want her to correct it. She was fine with this and very professional. I than did contact her in the first two week but never confirmed the appointment bc I just didn't want to lose the length I would have to in order to make the layers look more intentional it took me so long to grow it. Really bummed that I ended up with nothing close to what I asked for after paying over $200. My hair doesn't even look good (again bc of the horrible layers) in the bun I am forced to wear it in. I did order a new product and a hair diffuser to see if that helps with the styling, however I am not overly confident that anything other than time will help. Over all everyone was very nice. I was looking for a modern wave ( this is all over the internet and magazine right now) and that is not what I left with. The rods used were too tight. And in the very front somehow a half dime size lock of hair got "fried" off and I have that lock regrowing. Every time I touch my hairline on my forehead I can feel it. Thankfully it is not noticeable yet although as some point it will be. Very disappointed, if she couldn't give me the look I wanted I wish she would have said so, would have been better than what I left with. read more
