This is a cute little hair salon up in Ocoee. I think they also do nail services. They did not answer the phone when I was trying to call for an appointment so I went first thing on a Wednesday and was able to get my haircut. I had received a bad haircut from Great Clips and basically told the owner to just try to fix it the best he could. He did a great job. There are a couple other people that work there as contractors, but I don't think they have a receptionist. If you're local and need an appointment, it's probably best to stop in to make one. read more

I went to get a hair cut with a picture that I carried. The man said he could cut the style I showed him. In 5 minutes he was done. I said this is not the style I'm showing you. He raised his voice at me and said if you want more cut I will charge you another 20.00. I started crying; he yelled at me if you don't want to pay more then I'm done. Everyone in the salon could not believe he was yelling at me!! I got up and paid and left. Never in my life have I ever been yelled at like this in my life!!! I get compliments all the time for my nails and hair all the time and it's all thanks to Moon and Vickie! They were originally located in the Great Cuts in the Old Time Pottery and have upgraded to their new location for some time now. I am in love with their set up and atmosphere. Aside from them, they have two other stylist that come in that really bring things to life! It is reasonably priced and a ton of fun! I am so happy that I went to Moon Salon. The salon is very pretty and as inviting as the people who work there. I wanted to try a new style and color. I showed the picture and we discussed what I wanted and away we went. I was offered drinks and magazines while they were working on my hair. Everyone was so nice. After the cut and color they styled my hair and it was amazing. I have fine hair and you would never know from the great cut I have. The color is exactly how I expected and the cut is amazing. For some reason, I always have had a hard time finding someone that could cut my hair properly (I don't know if it's because its thin and super straight). We arrived a few minutes late so we to be next after the person in the chair was finished. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I took my daughter in for a regular straight cut trim and the stylist left her hair uneven after I told him it looked uneven. He attempted to try and fix it, still leaving it looking bad. I had to go from there to another salon to get it fixed. Highly disappointed! read more
