Ended up getting a basic cut ($35) by Drew, which the basic cut comes with a razor blade finish and a hot towel. Drew was very chill and respected my choice to just vibe. For someone who's been doing this before he was 20, it definitely shows in his work! The entire shop was a vibe and it's the perfect spot for anyone or any background or gender. First time going and I'm pretty sure it won't be my last! The prices are SLIGHTLY higher than most barbershops. About a $10.00 difference from most cuts. But the professionalism and quality of your haircut is definitely worth it. Cool spot that is associated with the Locker Room Vintage shop (besides dominoes pizza), which I had the chance to visit as well. I know GHQ Grooming has received some negative feedback in the past regarding rescheduling issues, but my experience today could not have been more opposite! I had to call to push back my appointment because with this being my first ever major hair change, I believed my hair is currently a bit too short for the highlights/frosted tips, I wanted. The young lady who answered the phone was extremely respectful, kind, and efficient. Rescheduling took just a few seconds and was completely seamless with zero hassle. Lucky Devil is one of the best barbershops in this area in my opinion. This is largely due to the fact to my specific Barber, Ashley (Hi!!). Since I get my haircut so frequently (every 10 to 12 days), I need to have a Barber that was able to do skin fades AND be easy to talk to. Ashley, checks these boxes and more!! Ashley was able to get cut my hair to my standards within the first two haircuts and I don't want anyone else to cut my hair at this point. She's super friendly and knows her stuff with the straight razor. I enjoy coming here because getting my haircut is therapeutic for me. The space is open and clean and I think they have about 8 or so barbers in rotation so you're bound to find someone to your liking. Their parking lot is small though so you may have to find street parking at times. If you're not paying in cash, I think there is a small fee to use your CC. Durining the service, his hands had a STRONG SMELL of CIGARETTE SMOKE, and that lingered with me for the rest of the day.
