Paid, $650 for full highlight, 1 row install of bead extension (I supplied my own hair - they use Belliami hair which is awful hair - dont be sold on that crap). I walked in platinum blonde, with 10 weeks root growout, wanting to add dimension, blend extention hair and address under processed areas from previous stylist. Simple, nothing uncommon. 6+ hours later, I end up with a blended ashy dull blonde, dark unfoiled spots and extensions sewn in lopsided - opposite of what I requested or paid for. Reached out to request fix and given the run-around and told it would be an additional $175 to add additional highlights for dimenion and the unfoiled dark areas which a full foil of $385 should have acheived at inital time of service, not to mention the multible toners used. What I requested never changed from in-person consult, from shared pictures and day of service. My hair was healthy and hadnt been processed in 10 weeks, I was already very blonde (the hard part was already done) and during the appointment they tell you, you need metal detox, and k18 treatments for chemical services however when requested a fix a few days later Im told they didnt want to compromise the hair and that we will work up too my desired look but if Im willing to pay an additional $175 - we can schedule you this week- total foolishness. Who pays $650 with the intention of working towards something when I walked in 80% already there. You pay for time not services, and its a money grab. Morgan was pleasant however the poor customer service, pushback to correct and request to pay more are unprofessional practices. Save yourself the headache and your money - this salon is exteremly overpriced for amateur expertise. Total money grab and no recoarse. The store is located on the main strip for the University of Delaware. The interior has about four barber chairs and they have retro style comic book artwork on the walls. They also play heavy metal, classic rock and grunge music usually on the overhead speakers. The place is brightly lit and is very clean. They get a mix of students and locals who come in for haircuts, beard trims and shaves. The service here is always quick and professional. They take payments by card, Venmo or cash. Just be mindful that there is no parking lot here so, you have to park on the street and pay at the meter. Also, the town parking attendants are brutal with parking tickets so, book a time in advance and allot enough time on the meter. Currently one hour is $1.25 and two hours (which is the max) is $2.50.
