Images Salon is ok- it's certainly not its predecessor, Hair Nucleus, by any stretch of the imagination. The prices are high in my opinion. As a short person I always get soaked down my back in the new shampoo chairs- please adjust these soon. The stylists are good and they seem to work nicely as a team. I visited salon - first time- to get a blow out and style . And a keratin treatment for my color treated hair . Service began great until time to blow dry and style. My hair was left frizzy/ due to blow dry not done completely . Which was a result of the stylist's next customer waiting his turn. Hurried to get me done and left my hair frizzy and looked as if an amateur had done this . I paid 80 and tipped because I did receive the service and really felt uncomfortable . But definitely will not return .When I got home my husband said "I thought you went to get hair done". Laughable at this point. It hard to understand how the stylist looked at the finish style and thought better then when I came in or a professional blow out worth 80.00. She even said oh it is a little frizzy and proceeded to put oil in it . When she had earlier said the oil was making it dry. I believe if you are running behind you don't catch up by sacrificing quality of your work. Ask someone to help or finish for you. Sad I had to go home and redo/style my hair before my travel plans that evening. Salon over all is nice - being rush on my service to get to a regular just says a lot about not wanting my business. Extremely unprofessional, staff is extremely entitled and will not admit when wrong. And the owner, Chrissy refuses to address the unprofessional behavior provided by her staff . I would even go as far as to say she reinforce this behavior. When a loyal costumer had an issue with the extreme banding Andrea caused FOR THE SECOND TIME Andrea decided to give up instead of apologizing and fixing her mistake. Then when she attempted to communicate with Chrissy in hopes of asking her to fix it, Chrissy was impossible to reach and when she did give a response it was rude and untrue. The quality of the service would not have been a huge issue if Chrissy held her staff accountable and fixed the VERY CLEAR mistake. I wouldn't even give them 1 star for their horrible work and lack of professionalism! Went in with less than an inch of warm medium blonde roots and the rest was platinum blonde hair all the way down to my middle of my back. Asked to have my roots blended in better with my platinum since I just received a more professional job and wanted a more professional looking hair. I left with BLACK FREAKIN HAIR! MY ROOTS WERE BLACK! Literally 2-3 inch roots of pure black and the rest of my hair was still platinum. I tried every shampoo in the world and scrubbed my hair for hours while I sobbed. Nothing touched it. I went back the next day and asked to have it fixed. Demanded against bleach and demanded a strand test with whatever they planned to use first. The girl used malibu cpr color removal treatment (her 1st time using) on the back of my head and kept checking it but she thought it wasn't working. So she comes to me and brings me to the sink saying she had to mix something else up that would make it work. Guess what it was!? Bleach! My scalp was burning and she was thrilled it was pulling color in less than a minute. She immediately rinsed and I sat in the chair crying as she tried to rip through my not able to be brushed hair. I told her to stop as I couldn't watch her rip out my hair and that I would do it. I tried to and couldn't because it was so bad. I started crying and pulling the gued hair out of my brush. The girl tried to tell me it was okay cause they are only small chunks of hair falling out not big ones! (Excuse me!) Asking me what I wanted to do, offering to tone my dark orange brown roots. (Anyone in hair knows it's impossible to tone dark hair). So the owner, Kristin chimes in at this point, asking what the problem was! I said I came in with platinum hair, asking for my roots to be better blended, my roots were dyed black, and now after 3 attempts with miracle cpr and bleach, it's falling out and still not the color I wanted. She continued to argue me that I had to have asked for this and even said she would call the stylist who did it. I asked who on God's earth would ask for this and how that would fix my hair right now as clumps of it sat disconnected from my head. She continued to argue me to the point where I got up and walked out! I then went back in to obtain her information and corporate information and she yelled at me in front of everyone in the salon stating she is the "owner" and "what was I going to do sue her?" Well guess what Ms. Sadler, you messed with the wrong person in this town, and I will do everything in my power to make sure everyone, including the BBB and State Board of Cosmetology, knows about it. How dare you ruin people's hair and then blame them for it!! You do not deserve to even own a shop! Especially when you make a inexperienced employee of yours do a color correction not knowing anything about it. That is a reflection of you! -Day after update, my scalp is still burning, my hair is as dry as straw at the root of my head even after doing high porosity protein masques and conditioning for hours. I decided to wear my embarrassing hair up all day to hide it and then come home to find out there is a huge orange chunk in the back of it from where they originally did the malibu cpr treatment strand test that obviously worked! But instead of doing that all over, and only having to tone out the orange color, they decided to use bleach instead and now my long gorgeous hair is an inch short in the front from it being fried off. I heard about images via Facebook and was a bit hesitate at first because their prices looked actually affordable and the pictures I was reviewing looked almost too good to be true! So I booked an appointment to get my horrible box colored hair a much needed make over and let me tell you what couldn't have been more blown away literally!!! The woman working there are all extremely friendly, the salon extremely clean and well maintained, prompt and professional services. I have been going to this salon since I was a child so at least 15 years. My mother knew the owner when she first started in Chesapeake City. Recently I went to get an ombre color and had to go back twice to get it fixed. I had not worn my hair straight since I had gotten it done but the day I did my friend quickly pointed out how bad my hair looked. I went to the bathroom at work and snapped a picture and it was true it looks horrible. No blending whatsoever just looked like a crooked line. I asked for a refund and sent them a picture and they told me they didn't see what I was talking about, but you can clearly see what I was referring to in the picture. I was very disappointed because I enjoy the people who work there and they are very pleasant but I will not be going back again since they were un willing to refund me. They instead told me to go to the salon and show them but their "master stylist" did my hair so I had to desire to go back and have them try to "fix" this mess.
