I've been coming to this salon for over 4 years. I love the customer service & friendly atmosphere. Kayla is always ready to offer her thoughts & ideas on how my hair style can be improved. She advises me on what products to use for my particular hair. I love how easy it is to book my appointment on line. In addition, love the new frequent customer cards. They are a plus that keeps me coming back. read more

Brought my daughter in to get her hair dyed. She's been begging me to get her hair colored. She wanted pink and black but I talked her into just getting pink, cause her hair is already pretty dark. We had Kayla do her hair, and she was super friendly, and e play the process to me and my daughter. She did a few bleach strands then covered it with the pink. End result- my daughter loved her pink highlights! Kayla did an amazing job and we would be coming back. read more

Scalp treatment, hair cut and blowout. When I first started coming to Frewoin, my hair had so much breakage, my scalp had severe tenderness and my hair just stopped growing. All I can say is Frewoin worked miracles. She's been taking care of my hair for a few months and my scalp is so much better, my hair is finally growing and both my scalp and hair are super healthy. Absolutely the best hair stylist I've gone to. Love Frewoin (Fre)! This Hair Cuttery is always super clean and the staff are so friendly. Love everything about this place. read more

I'm so thankful for the time Sarah spent on my hair. This is my first haircut/color since having my baby, and it was overdue. Sarah took my sad looking faded red hair and turned it into a beautifully cut and balayage hairdo! I had a wonderful experience with this salon and will be recommending it to friends. read more

Okay.. I would have never went here if my boyfriend didn't, he's been getting his hair cut by Christina.. kept telling me I should go.. that she takes her time... and does exactly what you want and ask for.. I was very skeptical, because I always thought .. if I pay more then that means they do a great job. WRONG. I'm so happy that I gave it a shot, my hair looks fantastic ... and she's awesome.. My second time going, and I'll most DEFINITELY be back.. The environment there is great too.. Can't wait to go back!!! read more

The Hair Cuttery near me closed down. My wife went to this one today. Got a great cut and color but had a bad experience with the so called manager/master colorist. Charged 108ish but told next visit price will be higher. (180.00) because she's the manager and a master colorist. Why the major price increase? NO answer just will be. Before this was revealed my wife asked how much for a men's cut. She said 22.00 I wonder if it will be 66.00 if you go back a second time. Obviously my wife will not go back and I certainly won't con artist manager. Sucks you in the 1st time then hammers you moving forward. read more

I usually get my hair cut here and the people working are so good but i had this one lady and she was a nightmare. i had extremely long hair and it was hard for me to cut it. i let this woman cut my hair and i told her i wanted long layers. she insisted that it had to be a certain way which wasn't making sense. i've had my hair cut this way for years. eventually she just started cutting it and i thought maybe she got it now. no. she completely destroyed my hair. i was so upset and i now had to get it redone to over my shoulders. i could have cut my own hair better WITHOUT A MIRROR. i'm extremely angry and upset i can't believe she messed up this bad. DO NOT work with Sharon. i'm sorry. read more

My hair color job was not quite right so I returned to the Larchmont salon and Alisha fixed it promptly. My hair looks great! She is an excellent colorist. Kudos to Larchmont Hair Cuttery and Alisha!! read more

Never trust a hair stylist who argues with you when you tell her what you want to have done. Long layers, I said. She said she did the angle in the front. I said but it's not layered. She repeated the bit about the angles. I finally just said let's stop now, I'll pay you and go. She didn't get a tip. Oh, and she put some smelly stuff on my hair that is supposed to make it shiny. I tried to wash some of it out with a wet wash cloth but it still smells too much. Not a happy camper at all! Oh, and at one point she said that I didn't have layers before. Yes, I did. Good grief! read more

Nicole did it again. My haircut looks exactly like the picture I showed her and my color looks beautiful. She's an excellent stylist.

I used to go to the Hair Cuttery on Centerton Road, but as I wrote, they're always just too busy, and I don't have the time to wait. This location is usually empty, and even when they're not, they get you in and out quickly. I've been here for my last three haircuts, and they've done a great job. The longest I've waited (once) was 10 minutes, and that's just because a woman had brought her five kids, who were just getting finished up. read more

Briana took the time to listen to what I want and then made suggestions that made me feel I would get what I wanted. She was so friendly -- as was everyone in the shop -- and professional. I love how my hair looks and I get so many compliments! read more

Heather help me decide on a color and cut and I'm so happy with the results. Two of the other ladies helped by voicing their opinions, which I asked for. Today was a great experience considering I went in not having a clue what I wanted. Got my eyebrows waxed too! Get idea having the ad on the ceiling at the shampoo sink. read more

The lady messed up my hair so bad I gave her the exact picture of what my hair used to look like she barely put any layers in it and it's awful and she fucked up my bangs horribly. Legit was crying when I got home read more

Not like there is all that much to cut these days but I needed a haircut bad. We had just moved to this area and I wanted to find a new place to get my haircut without an appointment. My schedule is so crazy, I didn't want to find a place that I needed to make an appointment to get my haircut. The person that cut my hair did a great job, I had to wait but not for too terribly long. Men's hair cut was super cheap. $15 I will be coming back and asking for the same person that cut my hair. She was very nice and did a great job. I really don't have any complaints. It's not an upscale salon, but who really cares. I'm a guy with short hair that wants to get a quick haircut. read more

I've always liked the Hair Cuttery chain. They do good work at good prices. This Mt Laurel location is the only one I've taken the time to review though because of all the different locations I've been to this is the only one where I can literally get in and out in 15-20 minutes. Forget about that kind of speedy service at the Centerton Rd location where you often have to check in 45 minutes in advance. read more

So far this is the 2nd time I've been to this hair cuttery (5yrs apart and 2 different stylists) and both times I left extremely disappointed. This time I went for a simple trim and a few layers nothing fancy and left with a weird long mullet (bob in the front long in the back). Should've been layered. It's bad. I went there since they are close and a walk in salon, but I will never go back. If you need to get your hair cut go to Moments salon around the corner they have wonderful stylists but you need to make an appointment. Or Regis in the moorestown mall. Regis does walk ins I just didn't feel like driving to the mall and now I'm regretting it. read more

So glad I took a chance and went here. I was a first time, walk-in customer and had NO IDEA who to ask for. I was lucky to be greeted by Natalie. I explained my situation to her; that I had received a bad (lop-sided) haircut at a different salon and needed it fixed. I have long poker-straight hair, and any mistake is very obvious. Natalie was so nice, and she assured me she could fix it. I was very nervous and her kindness put me immediately at ease. She corrected the crooked cut and did a perfect line on my straight hair. When I returned home, both my husband and niece remarked at how great it looked. It now looks gorgeous! So happy with the result - I highly recommend asking for Natalie! read more

I went there about almost two months ago and I payed about $200 for a perm and they cut and brushed my hair after my perm which isn't what your supposed to do . Their not supposed to do anything to my hair after my perm so I wasted my money because my perm is basically gone now so I do not recommend going here to get a perm. read more

Walked in the store with my 14 yr old son to get his haircut. There was no one else waiting. The stylists were all busy working on customers. We stood at the desk for a minute-no one acknowledged us, even to say HI, so we sat down. 10 minutes go by and still no one has acknowledged us. Now 2 customers are done, so they are paying their bill at the desk. There are now 4 bubblehead stylists standing behind the desk talking and laughing, completely ignoring us. We got up and left. They need a good customer service lesson, as they just lost my family as customers (4 customers). read more

THE WORST HAIR CUTTERY AROUND!! I have been a fan of Hair Cuttery because of the prices and because I usually just get my hair trimmed (no major styling or coloring) but I will never go to them again. I went in to have my hair trimmed, knowing that my hair was a little damaged from blow drying and using flat irons often I thought I could benefit to have a little more than a trim taken off. So, I told the stylist to take off "1 inch at the most". Going in my hair was fairly long, to my mid to lower back. I have naturally curly hair so it does appear shorter when wet. (after she washed it). As she started cutting my hair I stopped her to ask how much she was taking off. She said not much and gestured with her hands that she was taking off 1 inch, maybe a little more. I told her that was okay and she continued cutting. She insisted several times that it would look longer when straightened so I decided not to panic. I left the salon with my hair curly and when I got home and straightened it I was in shock! My hair was ABOVE my shoulders!! Hoping this was all a bad dream I drove back to the salon since I was unhappy/horrified by my hair cut. When I went to the salon I spoke with the manager and told her this was not what I wanted or asked for. She told me that there was no way to get my money back and had me fill out a form with my name and phone number. She said she would contact me but I still have not heard from them. The stylist who had done my hair was still there. After passing by me three times without saying anything (clearly noticing how short my hair was), she asked if everything was alright? I told her I didn't like it and confronted her about how many inches she cut off. She replied "an inch maybe and inch and a half." Then nonchalantly said I'm sorry and turned away. Maybe that stylist needs to freshen up on math because no way did she only cut that much hair off. Remember my hair was to my mid/lower back now it is above my shoulders, she cut at least 4 inches off probably 5. Before I left the manager even had to trim a few pieces in that back that were uneven. As I mentioned above I have been going to Hair Cuttery for years and I have gotten my hair trimmed both curly and straight but never again! I never write reviews but felt that this was necessary to warn people. I'm sure their haircuts are fine for men, but women beware! read more
