English: Damisela Leiva did my hair and the entire time she was burning me with the blow dryer, which made me uncomfortable and stressed since I was on a time crunch and the service was taking a long time. She only asked if I wanted my hair "lacio," which I thought meant soft, since other salons usually offer multiple blowout options. During the service she told me she wouldn't charge extra to iron my hair, but once I showed her a photo of the soft waves I wanted at the ends, she said it would cost extra, which turned out to be $33 more. I originally booked the service because I was told it would be $59 with a discount. Instead, I was charged $62 for the blowout plus $33 for the curls, bringing the total to $95 (or $79.50 after adjustments), which contradicts what I was quoted. Another stylist had to step in to do the curls because Damisela didn't know how, which likely explains why I was only given one option to begin with. Last minute appointment DONE RIGHT! My son needed his hair cut Sunday morning and Damisela did an AMAZING job. My son's hair is uber straight & fine which can be difficult to cut at the length we want. Often ending up way too short once dried. I've been getting my hair styled at least once a week with Carmen. I'm so happy that I found her last year. I had a very bad fall the day before Thanksgiving and I fractured my hand. I came straight here to have a deluxe blowout after I left the urgent care. Carmen was so wonderful. She carefully washed my hair and then styled it like no one before. I've been coming since and I won't even go back to doing it myself. She knows my hair now better than me. I came in for a desperate trim. My ends were fried & I had no time for anything else. I figured it couldn't be that difficult. I just needed something to hold me over until my appointment in September. WOW! Was I WRONG! The person did not even bother to part my hair into sections, they just cut it all at once. I didn't ask for my hair to be blow dried, so needless to say I was in for a HUGE surprise when I got home and dried it myself. Picture to follow. When I came in to ask for it to be fixed, they asked for the receipt for proof - as if I would lie about this. I could not even imagine someone making this up over a measly 18 bucks. Then the woman simply took CLIPPERS! to my hair to "even" it out and told me it probably happened in the first place because I was in a rush. I didn't have high expectations, just a decent trim. They didn't even bother to style it with the layers I already had in my hair - which I was fine with. I just needed a straight line. I also take my kids to get their hair cut here, and they've had their hair styled here before as well for school functions and dance recitals. It's hard to come across convenient, quick service without an appointment but this location somehow manages to make it happen, and at affordable prices, and professional results. I came during lunchtime to get a quick trim- nothing fancy just a trim. There were two stylists working and they were both with people. A male stylist told me they were booked until 1:30. I said fine, and made an appointment for 1:30. So I come back and get ignored when I walk in. Eventually a female stylist says to take a seat. Okay, I sit down but still no one bothers to get my information. The same guy that I made an appointment with an hour earlier ignores me. I wait 15 minutes before walking out. It's not okay to not respect a client's time. And customer service 101 is to at least acknowledge your client, even if you can't assist them right away. Won't come back here. read more

I'm a regular at this location and the salon manager Joel P. does a fantastic job. I can see he's always attentive to customers and this place is always busy. From the awards on the walls this salon is the best Hair Cuttery in Florida. They must be doing someting right. Recommendation: Mens haircuts best days are tuesday and wednesday with Joel as he's super busy orther days, and you'll wait. 2 years ago, I strolled into this location close to my house and needed to chop off a terrible layer job done by a salon that charged me well over $$$ for cutting 14 inches off. I was desperate to get it fixed ASAP and wasn't about to drop another $$$ on it. I got seated with Yvette and it was magical from the start! I knew I was in good hands when she explained all the reasons why my haircut wasn't done right. She took her time with each layer and made sure it sculpted my features nicely. So don't get too attached to one specific person.My haircut is pretty simple and straight forward, spiky ontop not too long but not short and a 2 on the sides all scissor trimmed. They usually get it done pretty quick and get no complains from me. $15 for a haircut and that includes shampoo and conditioner. Sometimes they do talk to each other while they're cutting your hair, that can be pretty rude or like me you feel indifferent about it. All in all its a pretty average experience.. read more

I would like To start off by saying that I only review places that I really really like or that I really really hate. I was here last month for a quick blow dry and I was definitely not impressed. I decided to come back for a quick trim and A layered haircut and I was advised to see Susie (she's one of the veteran hairstylists) She greeted me with a large smile washed my hair thoroughly and was very calm and sweet. She asked me twice and showed me how much she was going to trim she wanted to make sure I was ok with the length. I really liked that. She asked me only once if I wanted to blow dry my hair I said no because I'm going to the pool. And she was fine. I also Loved that she didn't push any hair products she just asked if I needed any for my home ... I said no, and she left it at that. She charged my card and I gave her tip and she was very nice to come around the counter and give me a big hug and a kiss on the cheek and say I look forward to seeing you again as a Gentleman opened the door for me and both said goodbye!
