Pros: They greeted me and took me immediately as a walk in--yay! Though they are primarily Spanish speaking and I am sadly not, there was no issue with language barrier for getting what I want. I feel well understood. They sat me and quickly found a good gel color match. Everything that makes a pretty gel pedi look is possible. But... Cons: No posh massage chairs or designated pedi area at all. The technician will place a plastic non electric tub of water under the manicure desk and work with your feet placed to her chair under the table. It 's a no frills not particularly indulgent gel pedi. She briefly utilized a regular manual foot file/emory board to soften feet a little, but I totally miss the efficient electric files I'm used to! Note: NO SHADE on QOD and my nice nail tech Carolina is meant by these comments! End result is adequate and the price is commensurate for West Kendall Miami. However, since I only get a gel pedi every couple of months or so, I really prefer more of a special "spa" experience. It wasn't particularly enjoyable or relaxing at all. And no chit chat, since I don't speak enough Spanish. They do get the job done and "nailed the look" (haha), but I prefer a particular experience: foot massage, special comfy chairs, electric jacuzzi foot tubs, etc. I'm very willing to pay more for the experience! If you are into the look of your pedicure only, then it's fine. Still, I paid over $50 for a no frills gel pedi. Next month I may try a Groupon for a new place, until I find a match for me. I had high hopes, but this just isn't it.

I have been going to this company for YEARS, which is exactly why I am so disappointed to be…read moreleaving this review. In the past, I have purchased hair from this salon that lasted me up to TWO YEARS through multiple reinstalls. That is why the drastic change in the quality of the hair I received this time is so concerning. I have never dealt with extension hair this unmanageable. What has made the situation worse is the complete lack of accountability. I was told that they had "no idea where the hair came from" and the responsibility was placed on an employee who has since been fired. However, that employee was working at the salon when my extensions were installed. As a longtime customer, I do not believe I should be left dealing with the consequences of an internal staffing or product issue. I travel back and forth for work, and I have been trying to work with the company on a reasonable solution. I am simply asking for the situation to be made right: replace the extensions with hair that is actually wearable and properly install them. Instead, I have been left with extension hair that, in my experience, feels and behaves more like horse hair than the quality of human-hair extensions I have received from this company in the past. I gave this company years of my business. I would have much rather written another positive review than this one, but the way a company handles a problem says just as much as the original product. BEWARE. The quality I received was NOTHING like what I had purchased from this salon in previous years. I will also be posting my experience in Spanish so other customers can make an informed decision. I strongly encourage anyone considering purchasing extensions here to ask questions about exactly where the hair is sourced, what quality of hair you are receiving, and what the salon will do if there is a problem. A longtime customer should not have to fight this hard just to receive wearable hair and basic accountability.

I think it's important to show the attitude and lack of professionalism of a person who is providing a service. I was referred to this salon by a friend who has done her hair with Cindy on previous occasion. I came in on Friday evening with red hair, which I wanted to remove and wanted a copper color. She was insisting on me keeping the red, saying it was so beautiful (if she couldn't remove it, she should've just said that). Did a couple of bleach washes which caused hot roots and she wanted to install extensions that looked darker than they should've - I mentioned both the roots and color of extensions and she said she would dye my entire head altogether for the color to match - I'm not a hair stylist, but if you're putting the same color with the same developer on hair of different tones, unless its a much darker color, you're going to get different tones (not to mention that my hair underneath the tape from the extensions isn't going to be colored). I trusted her because she kept telling me it would look good. End result was that I had orange roots, extensions that were placed too low and much darker than the rest of my hair. Additionally, there was no blend to the extensions with my hair, there were no tapes at the top Half of my head - which is not correct. She kept insisting that the color matched perfectly and the extensions would blend better once "settled". It was almost 11PM, so she promised that she would fix it another day. I left there paying a total of $785 ($710 + tip). I understand she's a professional and maybe this was just not the result we expected, so i was ok with her fixing it. The next morning I messaged her because in the daylight it was even worse - she was very rude, so i went to the salon to show her. She kept trying to convince me the color matched (even though i held it up and you can clearly see the difference) but finally agreed to fix it that upcoming Monday. I was supposed to come in on a Monday, texted her 3x and called no answer. She then sends me a text that she's off on Mon/Tue and she wouldn't be back at the salon until Wednesday. I come back on Wednesday at 3PM - she's in a terrible mood and comes out to tell me that she's going to dye my entire hair red so it can all be one color - but red was what i came in and paid for her to remove in the first place! She also tells me that if i want the extensions moved up (to get them to actually blend), she would have to charge me. I told her i didn't think it was fair for me to pay again for something that wasn't done properly. She gets upset and says that she cannot work like this, walks away and starts doing someone else's hair. I let a few minutes pass for her to cool down, then tried being courteous and polite, but she just didn't want to do the work and told me that she wasted her time and product (even though i paid almost $800 to her for the work!) and spent some time mumbling to the other stylist about how she's been doing hair for 20 years. I was then sitting for over an hour so i walked up and told her that if she didn't want to fix it, she could refund my money and i would go elsewhere. She said there was no way she was giving me my money back. So I sat back down. She went to the back and was complaining to the other stylist, then comes to the front and offers to refund me just for what i paid for the dye job. I told her that was unfair because i paid $335 for the service (besides the hair) that I needed to redo. She agreed to refund me $230, which is less than i think is fair, but i just wanted to get out of there. It's very unfortunate when a so-called professional person cannot admit that a completed job didn't get the intended result. And on top of that to be nasty about it. I just wanted her to fix it. It is not fair to pay so much money and not get what you asked for, then have a o pay someone else to fix it. I now have to pay for: 1) removal of tape extensions since they are too low and need to be color matched 2) color correction of my roots 3) full head dye to match extensions 4) install of extensions once the color is done Attached are photos of the job she did and our messages. If there's anything i learned from this is that there is a reason why someone like Cindy can give you a next day appointment, while others have a month or longer wait list. I will never settle just because I'm in a rush to do my hair, i will also never pay the full cost of the job, if i am supposed to come back to get it fixed. the job should be paid in full when its completed.
