I went on line the night before made my appointment with Patrick when I arrived they said I wasn't scheduled but they would try to find me someone who would do it. I was going to a wedding so I wanted a style and ask for recommendations from hair dresser after all they are supposed to be trained to know what styles work for shape of face as well as age & so forth or at least that was my understanding. Guess I was wrong. He said do you want a shampoo well that is supposed to be included when you go anywhere ask for cut & style. What was done for the special occasion I could have done that much myself except for the cut which I won't bother to mention . It was quite windy out so as soon as I walked out the door whatever was done blew in the wind. I guess there was a shortage of hairspray. Ion the past when I ask for a style the hairdresser would hand me the mirror so I could see the back and if I thought my hair should be different or whatever they would correct it while I was in the chair. Did that happen there No it was not. Will I return NO Will I recommend the place NOT a chance. read more

Took my wife there for her haircut twice before. The stylist was the same young lady both times. She was very nice, and the cut was good both times, so we stopped there again today. I'm not certain how much we paid the first two times. I think it was around $24. Today the charge was $42. Yes, forty-two! That's ridiculous. The staff has changed. We did not see the nice young lady who did the cut the last two times. Today she had a male stylist. He was disheveled and creepy looking. Another stylist there today was a very big man with a large beer belly wearing a skirt. I don't really care that much about appearance if the haircut is good, and the price is fair. But the place just isn't the same. Freakish looking staff, not pleasant or friendly like before. Most of the staff looked sour and unhappy, like they would rather be anywhere but there. Plus, FORTY-TWO DOLLARS for a simple cut that took about 10 minutes. We paid cash and were not offered a receipt. We felt like maybe he just made up his own price and put the cash in his pocket. We feel like we were robbed. We won't be back. read more

This lady April is a wreck! Annoying. Dirty. She bitched the whole time we where there. When I sat down she had to again start with her headache from the kids that she was already complaining about earlier. Then she could not find her #1 attachment which she had a meltdown about. The other guy there seemed to feel bad and try to offer her his but she was not having it. She finally located it and crisis averted. After she cut my hair she asked if it was ok. I said it was ok from what I could tell and she said " it better be! I've been doing this for 40 years!" While I was offered a shampoo my son was not from the other guy and none of the other 5 people in front of us was either. Place is dirty and poorly managed. Corporate needs to correct these things. Not sure who owns this location but they need better people and they need to ensure they clean up the place and their tools at all times. read more

The ONLY reason I gave this salon any stars is because the manager is amazing and fixed the debacle caused by the initial "stylist". So there are going to be 2 parts to this review. The first part is for the "stylist" who I believe's name was April because that's what it said on the follow-up text I received. ZERO stars for her, in fact I'm convinced she might not even be a real stylist and if she is, she needs to lay off whatever she's taking because I have never come in contact with a more erratic person in my life. I came in with long, thick, straight hair to my butt. She said she was taking 5 inches off the length, nope try a good 8"-10". When she was finished, it was noticeably crooked. When she asked to show her where, I showed her and she just took the scissors and snipped the area. No measuring, no care, no consideration, not nothing. So when I told her it was still crooked, she tried to do same careless snip, getting herself all worked up and I literally had to step away and ask her to stop. She then proceeded to tell me that my hair was crooked BECAUSE MY BOOBS ARE CROOKED, shooed me my away from her station, said the manager will deal with me and then proceeded to talk shit about me LOUDLY to EVERYONE in the salon, including her next customer (God help him). It took me everything in my power to not rip her a new one. Luckily, the manager did step in, deescalated the situation in order to not cause more of a scene then the "stylist" was already causing and then fixed my hair. That manager was literally wonderful, personable, knowledgeable and compassionate. She is THE ONLY reason I gave a 2 star review but unfortunately the negative experience from the original "stylist" left a horrendous taste in my mouth. Never again will I go blind to a salon and just let anyone cut my hair because I now see what happens when you do!! But I would definitely go back to see the manager again (I wish I got her name because she deserves credit where credit is due). read more
