I haven't been to a salon in YEARS so I needed a refresh and was very picky on who I would go to. I've been cutting my own hair for years (not the best, but got the job done) so Leslie fixed the areas that were uneven and choppy. For the balayage/highlights, I brought in a few inspo pictures for how I wanted my hair to look/the style I was going for and WOW she really made what I was picturing come to life! My hair typically doesn't take blonde very well, but I REALLY wanted more neutral to cool blonde tones in my hair and she literally got the perfect shade of blonde I was going for!! I've gotten so many compliments already on how pretty my hair looks and it looks so fresh but still very natural. Especially with balayage/dimension, she is very talented and knows how to make it look flattering and natural! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! + forgot to mention she styled my hair as well and I LOVED the way it turned out (how my hair is styled in the photos!) She even gave my pointers on how to achieve the same flowy curls.

The owner and head stylist, Kelley, had the last appointment free in 90 minutes, so come on by. Excellent. It's a little shop tucked across from the Giant Eagle (don't park in their lot!), with a comfy waiting area. Kelley called me over for the consult and just got it immediately. Not only that but she was enthusiastically on board with what I wanted. I had had a bad cut from a different salon previously and told her all the ways I didn't want to hold onto that shape, as well as what I did want. An hour later my hair was all over the floor in a ring of the fallen, and my hair looked AMAZING. All the texture and layers and movement I missed was there again. Seriously a great haircut. I used to go to a hairdresser in Squirrel Hill (InStyle Hair Salon) who was fast and great but never sanitized the scissors between clients or after dropping scissors on the ground. The final straw was when he left for 20 min in the middle of a haircut to talk about sending packages to China - I'm talking about hair wet, part of hair clipped up, and sitting in chair for 20 min. Then it was a rollercoaster to find another hairdresser for Asian hair, and I'm so glad that I found Adore Hair Salon. Elliot is very experienced with Asian hair and he is super helpful in picking hairstyles that would compliment your face and look. The haircuts always end up better than I expect, and he does a great job on my husband's hair too! If you show him a picture, he can basically do an exact replica on you.
