And then when i came back i leaned on my couch and noticed black stains on my cushion!! I touched the back of scalp and color from the scalp came on my finger so basically the shampoo after color wasn't done properly and there was still a lot of color left. I was so displeased. I went back. It was raining and really cold that day I still went back, the salon was closed. I wrote them an email next day and they just responded with a sorry on the email and saying they will talk to the girl who shampooed but I think even if they were a teaching salon the main stylist should have checked if the service was done properly, it felt like negligence and rushed service. I was not feeling well that day, and after that I had to wash my hair again at 9 PM on a very cold day, only because they didn't do it properly, i had an early morning flight next day and this totally ruined my mood. I expected them to offer me some refund atleast as service was so dismal.. when I had left 40% tip as well. Nothing like that not even a call from them for apologizing properly when i was an old customer.. This experience left such a bad taste in mouth, the color also stained my nails before my hawaii trip. I'm not going back

This haircut occurred some time ago and I was extremely hesitant to leave a review. The owner of…read morethe salon is a genuinely kind person with great conversational skills, but absolutely overshot my haircut. I came in with shoulder length hair, and he gave me a pixie cut which is not at all what I asked for. Very sloppy cut. Was more focused on talking rather than focusing on the haircut. When I said it was too short and was extremely polite, no yelling etc. and asked what we could do, he refused to fix it for me at any capacity because he felt "too awkward now" and let me leave without charge. It's taken a long time for me to grow it out and it definitely left me frustrated with my hair for a long time. I was hesitant to leave a review so long ago because he told me the last business he started , he had to close down mid Covid. I was empathetic to this, I desire the business future success but I do not recommend this place for young women with thick hair such as myself.

To be fair, the front desk staff was welcoming and professional, and my haircut/blowout were well done. However, the highlight service was extremely disappointing. The color is uneven with visible demarcation lines, unblended roots, and inconsistent placement throughout the hairline and part. This is not an intentional shadow root -- it appears unfinished and poorly executed, especially for a service at this price point. What is most concerning is that when I left a review, the owner publicly stated that I was never a client, which is simply untrue. I have appointment confirmations and proof of payment. I'm sharing this so others can make informed decisions. My experience was real, and I stand by it.
