The vibe was so fun! I loved that there were movies playing while I got my hair done, and the atmosphere felt super relaxed and upbeat. Mikey made the yummiest drinks and was so fun to talk to, such great energy! The experience started with a relaxing wash, followed by my choice of hairstyle. The whole service took about an hour, but I honestly didn't even notice the time because I was so relaxed. My hair came out beautiful, soft, and held up perfectly in the humidity. I definitely recommend getting your hair done here while staying in Waikiki. Whether it's for a photoshoot, a nice dinner, or a night out in town.

They offered and I accepted water. Big TVs to watch and interesting movies. There was also a bar which I would have indulged in a cocktail but didn't want to start drinking too early. My gal got with me shortly thereafter (Kordel), got me situated, talked about styles, etc. Having my hair washed by others is always something I've enjoyed. This didn't disappoint & wasn't rushed! Fast forward to now--my regular stylist at another salon moved off island, so I decided to give this place another try. The price was reasonable, it was super easy to book online, and the stylist who did my hair years ago wasn't there anymore. My appointment was first thing in the morning, which was great because there was no wait. Chico was assigned to do my hair, and she took the time to ask what I wanted, my preferences, and how I usually take care of my hair. I really liked her thoughtful and careful approach. After a gentle shampoo, she cut, blow-dried, and curled my hair outward--it turned out beautifully! The length was exactly what I asked for, and the soft curls were the cherry on top. I'll definitely be coming back and asking for Chico again (as long as our schedules line up). So glad I decided to give this place another chance!

I was having a bit of life crisis, and asked her to wack off all my shoulder length hair. She gave me a spiky pixie which was exactly what I needed! I looked great! This week, I made an appointment for me and my partner to get our hair cut. RoseMary's wee shop which is located in the Sheraton's parking structure doesn't have a lot of space but unlike other hair salons, it's completely clean with no stray hairs and dust anywhere. Her supplies are all neatly stored. It's quite impressive for such a small space. RoseMary cut my partner's hair first. He's growing out a crew cut and hasn't used a comb in so long, he's forgotten how! She cleaned up his edges, and showed me how he should comb his hair. RoseMary and he chatted non-stop during the cut. She looked at me, and asked me if I liked a spiky look or a more sleek look. From that question, I knew that she knew I wanted a bit neater cut. She cleaned me up, and showed me how to use my cowlick to add height. I'm very impressed with her skills as an artisan as well as in business (talk to her, and you'll get it!). She's going to be my family's Honolulu hairdresser.
