Sweet stylist, but color missed the mark…read more I really wanted to love this experience -- Mikayla is warm, friendly, and gave me a haircut I genuinely love. Unfortunately the color didn't land where we discussed, which is why I can't give more stars. I came in with specific inspiration photos for a soft, blended beige brunette balayage -- something lived-in that would grow out with no harsh lines. The result came out much chunkier and lighter than expected, with a pretty defined line at the roots that's especially noticeable when I pull my hair back. When I reached out, Mikayla was responsive and offered a correction with a root smudge and toner, which I appreciated. My hesitation was that those are exactly the techniques that would have achieved the look I originally asked for -- so it was hard to feel confident a redo would get me there. I asked twice why those techniques were not included as part of the initial service and both times my question was dodged with the offering of coming in for correction. More coloring isn't something I feel comfortable with while I deal with fragile postpartum hair. I asked if a partial refund was possible as a middle ground and unfortunately we weren't able to work something out.

I've continued to trust Lindsey with my hair for a little over 2 years now, and I will continue to…read moredo so as long as she is still a stylist! I continue to get stopped by strangers and complimented on my hair, as well as compliments from friends (which I DO appreciate) I just distinguish between the two because I think it speaks to Lindsey's talent that complete strangers talk to me about my hair. . . . Lindsey is a true artist when it comes to hair and very passionate about her craft. In addition, she has helped me identify products to keep my hair healthy, despite the fact that I demand to continue to be a blonde. I have the most beautiful blonde color happening and it actually feels soft and silky - which is amazing to me. For these reasons I will continue to give all my hair business to Lindsey. Even when I don't know what I want, we have established enough history in the "chair" for me to sit down and ask her to just go for it. Never have I left her chair unhappy. If you want the most amazing hair you've ever had I suggest you go see her.

Her color technique is superior to anyone I have seen (including the high priced stylists in LA and NYC). Lindsey has worked me to evolve my cut from super-short and dying it except for a patch of grey though growing it out and making it copper and gold. This is the first time in my life I am routinely stopped and asked who does my hair. Recommend her most highly!!

Cute salon inside and bright since the storefront is all windows in front. Parking is easy to find…read morein their private lot. The stylists inside are all friendly. I was there with an appointment to see Nicki for a haircut and style. This salon accepts walk ins too. This time I opted for embracing my curls and having her cut the back with more layers to show my curls and layer it more. She usually straightens it with a blow dryer. This time she used a diffuser. I also get a color touch up and she is great about discussing the color options with you by bringing out her book of color. Please note that since this place takes walk ins, that means that your color process with Nicki may take more time if she accepts a walk in while you are waiting for your color to saturate your hair. If you don't like waiting for her to finish someone else who walked in during your appt, then do not get started with her. Maybe there's another stylist there who doesn't do this but it does ruin the "salon, relaxing experience" when you watch someone else get out the door before you who came in after you without an appt! Nicki was able to quicly get the walk in done in the nick of time, however, this is not always the case. Just tell her ahead of time that you do not like this being done and I'm sure she will work with you somehow. My curly cut turned out good, my color was just right and I would recommend Nicki but being that she's a caring professional who wants to stay busy, tell her in advance about your expectations and you'll receive the best outcome.

I have never been this experimental with my hair in the past. Maybe just one semi-vivid color (subtle violet), but that's it. Nicki asked me what rich colors I liked and she decided to blend the two colors. She really focused on her mixing and I liked that she wrote it down for next time. After straightening out my curly hair, she usedbl the curling wand all around in the back. After almost three hours, which included my eyebrows and upper lip to be waxed, I took a look at myself in the hand mirror and smiled. I recommend Nicki to any woman who wants to step out of her "comfort zone" and transform to a new, even more beautiful layer of herself.
