This review is not for the owner- rather one particular worker. I have been coming to URS Threading for many years and have visited all of their locations. This is the first time I've felt the need to leave a negative review for this location (my 5th time here). I arrived at around 6:40 p.m. (the salon closes at 7:00 p.m.). A broad-built Indian woman at the front desk said she would do my threading. I asked her to start with my upper lip, and it was noticeably painful from the beginning, though I didn't say anything. What really concerned me was that she brought the thread inside my nostril while threading my upper lip. I immediately winced in pain. In all the years I've been getting threaded, this has never happened before. It felt very unprofessional and made me question her experience. She has no communication skills at all. The people who have helped me previously in this location were all nice. I told her what had happened and left immediately without completing the service. Based on my experience, I would not trust her with threading. Very unprofessional and unapologetic.

I've been seeing Puja for over eight years and she is my eyebrow technician/guru for a reason. On my very first visit, I explained that I have a flat mole at the base of my left brow. Most techs start on the right; when they do, the left brow ends up shaped around the mole so it shows. When I fill them in, the left always looks wider than the right creating uneven eyebrows. Puja heard me and always starts on my left every single time. She shapes so the mole sits inside my brow line. No reminders needed as she remembered from day one. That level of attention is rare. My sister got the same service and was only charged $12.99, so I asked why mine was $17.54. She went through the transactions on her machine and said it was the tip. I told her I was never given the option to even select a tip. Then, in front of my sister, she said, "Yeah, I was confused too because you never tip." I was a little taken aback. Not only was that a very unprofessional comment to make in front of another customer, but I was also somewhat offended because I tip nearly every time I visit. I would have gotten over being accidentally overcharged this time, but being told that I "never tip" as a longtime customer left a sour taste in my mouth and made me never want to come back.
