She is also very knowledgeable of your face shape and hair type so she can give you the haircut that best compliments your face. I got a perm 6 months ago and she manifested my permed hair amazingly! She cut it and manage to leave a bit of the c and s curl behind (which is from the perm) so that my hair does not look flat (lob/bob hair can look very flat, especially if you have naturally straight hair like I do). She is an artist!! Also, she doesn't take walk-ins and only takes reservations so call for reservations before coming so you're not wasting your time driving! The owner did a great job, she is very knowledgable and has over 20 years experience. She was able to answer any question I had, she also threw in a free cut to trim my ends. I came back here today to get a set of highlights. It was only $60 for half a head of highlights. She uses quality products and my hair always feels and looks great. I have fine hair and all I've ever wanted is some volume and body. After years of going to many different stylists and salons throughout the city asking for layers that would give my limp hair more life, I had accepted the fact that my hair would always be flat and fine. After moving to the 'burbs, I stumbled upon this salon and they were able to fit me in pretty quickly. I explained to Katie the same thing I had explained to every other stylist - I want some layers that would give me body. After looking at my hair, she told me she was going to do a certain kind of cut that sounded so different from any other cut I'd had before. She explained what she was going to do and how it was different from the layers I currently had. I appreciated her taking the time to talk to me about my hair.
