Can I give zero stars? My boyfriend goes for just an easy 0000 buzz on the whole head. They have screwed up many more times than succeeded at such a simple task. Missed areas and random hairs sticking up All over. Lady, you seriously had one job... buzz the whole head with the same size razor. read more

Great Clips does not offer a wide variety of treatments for your hair; they stick to the basics. Walk-in hair cuts only, though you can check-in online. You can also get a perm, up-do, condition treatment, and dye for pretty standard prices. From my understanding, a perm is the only treatment you call ahead for. The rest is walk-in only. I've gotten my hair trimmed twice and an up-do (not really an up-do...just curled my hair) once. Both appointments were pleasant experiences and I've received really good advise from each stylist. They've sold me product that was on sale for split ends and lo and behold, it actually works! Having healthy hair is really important to me, and I struggle with trusting stylists with my hair (bad experiences with my sister, who's a stylist). So although this place is small and limited, I've found that I trust them the most. read more

This is actually for the Doylestown, Pa location, I was in 7/18 at about 11:15 and I will never under any circumstances go back. After using their services for may years with many good haircuts and only a few mediocre ones, I've now gotten 2 that were abominable. I somehow got the same young women twice (I had to wait an extra two months for my hair to grow back out from the last time. I physically showed her the length I wanted but she was too busy chattering and complaining about a phone hang up from a call- in customer to really listen. She cut one side shorter than the other and overly layered the back . when I pointed it out she tugged on the shorter side and tried to tell me it was the same. I got her to try and even it up but now it's just fly away. I'mt going tomorrow to a competitor to see if it can be made to look any better, though it's already too short for my taste read more

I wish it was possible to not give any stars as your rating. I went for an all around trim today, just half an inch off. They were rather busy today, though it was only a 10 minute wait. I had used the app to check-in before hand and when I walked in I was not greeted kindly and the woman who checked me in, Angela, came over to the desk, and was rude. She didn't ask if I had an appointment and just began asking for my information. She typed in all of the information but then I noticed my name had popped up on the screen a second time so I pointed out that I had checked in beforehand and she sighed and called a manager over (I guess) to delete my online one out of the system because "she had taken all that time to enter my info (that was not needed to get a haircut)". She tells me to follow her back to the chair (GREAT! She's the one cutting my hair). I tell her I want half an inch trimmed off and to trim my layers as well. It took her not even 10 minutes, which is scary fast, and she tells me "I'm going to take the cape off so you can see", so after I told her the length was okay, I expected her to continue and take care of my layers. But NO! She rushes me out and I ask her to trim my bangs up some more and she huffs and puffs because she has to do more work. ANGELA had no personality, I felt like I was getting my haircut by an empty toilet paper roll. I am very dissatisfied with going to the Souderton location and never again will I get my haircut there. Horrible service and rude "stylists". Needless to say, I paid the $4.99 for my incomplete trim and didn't tip a penny. The only tip I have for Angela is to learn some customer service skills and obtain your general set of manners. read more

I am extremely disappointed in Great Clips, this location and franchise owner Cindy. On 3/4 I went in for a haircut and the technician seemed diligent enough that again I left my trust in their hands. It wasn't until later that evening that I really looked in the mirror and noticed my haircut was uneven. One side I had a sideburns and the other I didn't. I wanted a bit of a sideburns but one side was cut straight off. I was inconvenienced and had to take another trip back to "fix" it. Last time I checked they don't add hair back. I called Great Clips Corporate offices on 3/5 and the customer service rep said they would pass the info on to the owner (Cindy). I didn't hear from anyone so I called again on 3/17. Again no phone call. I called a third time on 3/23 and the customer service rep offered me a $20 gift card. I declined because all I wanted was my money (cash) back from my haircut on 3/4. I did not necessarily want to go back to a Great Clips, especially this location. This afternoon I finally spoke to Cindy and all she offered was a free haircut at her location. Why would I do that? I had been to this location several times in the past and received an uneven haircut but this was the first time I notified their office. Cindy's offer was not acceptable so I called corporate back. I spoke to supervisor that i contacted earlier and she indicated after she turned over the info to the owner to resolve the issue her offer was no longer valid. Ridiculous! This is why i can not recommend Great Clips and this location. I know this location will go on but they lost a customer. Disappointed. read more

This was the worst salon that I have ever been to. First, the place smells like smoke, the floors were dirty and the ceilings have water spots all over. Second, the girl behind the counter asked me what type of service I wanted and I told her a shampoo and blowdry. She said well do you want it dried or professionally blown-dried?? Uhm, I want it blown dry. After washing, the stylist asked the other stylist where the brushes were, the other stylists response was "we don't have any"! You don't have any??? She then went into her bag and pulled out 2 round brushes and said "You can use mine!" What salon does not have brushes, what stylist doesn't carry her own brushes! After finishing I was blown away by the charge; $25 + tip for a shampoo and blow-dry?? and I came out looking worse than I did going in??? NEVER, EVER GO HERE! read more

Avoid this place at all costs. Went to get my long hair trimmed today and get angles and it looks absolutely ridiculous. Had bad feelings about my hairdresser from the start and should have stopped her. But once she started the angles she started cutting ACROSS at my chin and then stopped. I told her that's enough and it had to be fixed. Then the jerk of a man comes over who thought he worked for L'Oreal tells me to relax threes times. He starts to fix it and he has no idea what he is doing due to parting it in a super weird way. I had enough, got up, told him I'm done and I wanted a refund. He said "are you serious" and I just walked out with my rediculous hair do. Just avoid the mayhem and go to a hairdresser with some skill. read more

Went to this salon on Tuesday for a blow out. My hair was freshly washed and still damp. The technician was so rough she was yanking on my hair so hard I almost had whiplash. It wasn't until I left after paying $20.00 that I realized she had put so much product into my hair that it was actually sticky. No wonder she had to tug so hard. My best friend and I went to Great Clips today to see about a buzz cut for her. She is fighting breast and brain cancer. To our surprise we found out they provide free haircuts with a program Clips of Kindness for cancer patients. Debi and all staff were truly kind and patient. They completed chopped my daughter's long hair. She requested a 3 inch trim and the stylist chopped off her hair. She claimed my daughter wanted a short bob style that was longer in the front. My daughter's hair turned out above her shoulders. She was devastated! I will never let anyone I know go to one of these salons again! read more
