I have been going to BA salon for a few years now and I will never go anywhere else for my hair no matter where I may live in the future. The women at the salon are so welcoming, kind, accommodating, well trained, and take their time with you! Recently due to COVID, they have gone above and beyond. They have taken ALL safety precautions and then some. I recently got tape in extensions installed and they are beautiful! I had short blunt hair and the tape ins were installed so well that my natural hair just looks like layers. Every time I go back they exceed my wants/needs. I also love that they have Davine's hair products...they are seriously the best! Christina has been doing my hair for several years and she's the absolute best. She made me blonde, blonder, brunette, brunetter and everything in between. She's always honest and tells me if something I want might take a few sessions or if a color may fade and have a lot of upkeep (hello grey hair). I love having an ashy blonde and she always makes it happen for me. I have never left her chair disappointed or wishing she had done something differently. I live in Philly and tried a few salons there, but I am thrilled to make the trip to wherever she is; I always know I'm in capable hands, whether it's for color, a cut or styled. And BA Salon is BEAUTIFUL. Everyone is so friendly and services are well-priced. I cannot say enough good things about BA Salon. My 1st appt was in March 2021. Julia gave me a beautiful cut and highlights. As my intention was to turn my highlights gray, the salon recommended a product. I ordered the product online and unfortunately, through no fault of the salon, the product turned my highlights blue. I struggled with the decision about what to do. I really didn't want to call the salon back or complain. Ultimately, I did decide to call them. Julia worked tirelessly to get the blue out of my hair and then they brought me back in yesterday to redo my highlights. Julia & Beth Ann worked on my hair simultaneously & the result is absolutely beautiful. They went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. I very highly recommend BA Salon. read more

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. I had gone to Hair Cuttery in October and asked for a baylayge style. They ended up giving me full highlights which were very streaky-obvious not what I wanted. I reached out via Yelp to BA Salon and they had me in the next week for a consultation to meet Kayla and also have her show me how they could fix it. At the actual appointment I felt so comfortable because Kayla knew exactly what she was doing. My hair came out even better than I expected and the price was also better I expected. Many salons told me it would be between $300-400 to fix my hair. I highly recommend Kayla and I will definitely be back :) this will be my new salon! read more

Christina Forte is in my opinion, the best there is. cutting my hair for over a year now. From long to a bob to short to even shorter. My hair is exactly what I want every single time. Ask Christina & she'll tell you, I'm a stylist nightmare, from cutting (don't take off too much,lol) to coloring ( I think I want red, no maybe caramel, no highlights) Christina has always made me look fantastic. I have been dying my hair pink myself for a while, but I got sick of the upkeep, so I turned to Veronica at BA. That was beyond the right choice because Veronica is *fantastic* at coloring hair. She transformed my home-dyed pink mess into a beautiful work of art. Instead of just pink, it is now a glorious spectrum of the pink shade. The salon itself is a gem. When walking into the modern open concept layout, you feel you're in a much more expensive place, but without the burden of burning a hole in your wallet. Five stars might not be enough! BA Salon is absolutely wonderful. It is very clean, open, and has such a welcoming atmosphere, not to mention a great staff. I have been getting my hair done by Beth Ann for years. She is not only skilled at what she does, but she is extremely personable and welcoming. I would recommend her for everything whether you are looking for a basic cut, a style change, or need a formal undue, she will not disappoint! Do yourself a favor and book an appointment! Veronica is the best colorist I've been able to find! I'm a natural brunette who has been going blonde for years. I came in with completely fried hair with grown out roots. I left with a beautiful, silky balayage for fall. I've never had a stylist become so involved in making sure I left with exactly what I wanted. She spent time going through pics with me and discussing all of my options. I have been to BA about 3 times now and I can honestly say Veronica is literally amazing. I have been to a lot of hair stylists and she is truly the greatest. She is awesome at coloring, cutting, and styling my difficult hair - will be going back and recommending my friends. I haven't had the other stylists, but I have seen their work and it looks fantastic as well. This was honestly the best hair appointment I have EVER had! The salon is beautiful and quaint, they had beverages, great music and very comfortable seats. I wanted my coloring to blend with my natural tones, and Beth Ann did the perfect balayage! I have had it done before and none of them came close to being as beautiful, not to mention the efficiency, it was so quick! My women's cut was perfect as well, she knew exactly what I was going for. Wow. Kayla REALLY knows what she's doing when it comes to highlights. If you're looking to go blonde (or blonder), she'll create a bright, cool, dimensional color--no brassiness or chunks.
