Last time I had the skin spot removed and found out that thankfully it was not cancer. Well fast forward a few years ahead and I felt the need to go back. When I made the appointment they got me in immediately. The front desk is very accommodating, understanding, patient and polite. Since my last visit the office has moved. I wanted to get checked out for a new suspicious skin mark. Without hesitation Dr Hahn took one look and made my diagnosis with ultra confidence and knowledge. It turned out to be noncancerous and just one of the "battle scars" of aging. I wouldn't hesitate to go back. I loved my experience with Dr Any Hahn.

I also purchase all my skin care products from her office. After each visit, I make sure I get my physical sunscreen and vitamin C serum. The medical assistants always have smiles on their faces and you can tell that everyone at that office enjoys what they do. I recommend Dr. Z and her assistants. They are fabulous!

I have always been pleased with the Dr. Zellis' treatment until a recent horrible experience. The practice changed office policy requiring patients to agree to paying a 25% additional costs for use of a collections agency for unpaid debt. I have never been delinquent in paying my bills and have sign agreements which makes me responsible for payment regardless of insurance claims. Many businesses use collections agencies for unpaid debts. However, there are times when claims are filed incorrctly by the provider and straightening out the issues with the insurance companies takes time. Adding a collections agency to the process with an additional fee of 25% of the debt just creates more ptoblems for those of us who pay our debts. The idea of assessing a fee on top of an unpaid debt just doesn't make sense. Think about it, if you can't collect the money due, what makes you think you are going to collect another 25% on top. My treatment by the office finance manager and Dr. zellis was appalling! While in the office for my six month visit, I was told Dr. Zellis will not treat me without signing the new policy document. Finance policy over healthcare treatment. Unprofessional and Disgusting! Now, I need to wait another 3-6 months with a new provider and hope no new cancers are found! Find a dermotology practice which cares more about their patients' health than their office policies!

I spent the vast part of my life working outside, and outside of sunglasses, definitely abused my skin. She convinced me to start wearing a hat with a broad brim all the time, which has helped tremendously. From the beginning, I noticed how thorough she is in her examination. Nothing is overlooked, and anything suspicious is removed. Dr. Scola is kind, compassionate, and very easy to talk to. Her staff is the same way, and their communication is excellent. On March 21st 2022 I went to Dr. Filomeno Scola and she informed me about two questionable moles…read morethat should be removed. I had to follow up with a different dermatologist that does plastic surgery to get the mole/sections on my body removed as they were larger and needed stitches. He said I also had another mole on my back that my original doctor (Dr. Scola) should have told me about and should have been removed. When I asked him if he could remove it, he told me that I had to go back to my original doctor for that. I made a second appointment and went back to Dr. Scola. I asked her about the mole and she said that she had noted in my file that I had an additional questionable mole or two (which was not verbalized to me at my first appointment) and that she can remove them if I want for peace of mind. She removed them and one mole came back as atypical melanocytes. That means more bad cells are there than good and some refer to it as pre-cancer. When I asked the person who called me why didn't Dr. Scola originally tell me about this mole, she put me on hold, talked to Dr. Scola and then told me that the doctor noted this originally in my file to monitor. But she never verbalized this to me and never told me to follow up. When I said this she said it is slow growing and in a year when I would have came back they probably would have removed it then... which means that that gave me a year more for bad cells to spread and possibly leading to cancer. Additionally, what if I didn't come in a year? This was my first appointment in a while and I wasn't instructed to make a follow-up appointment. She also had a defensive tone in her voice and said "She's been doing this over 30 years, she knows what she is doing" But why did I have to go to another dermatologist for him to tell me about this mole. Now I have to make another appointment to go back to the other dermatologist/plastic surgeon to have more of the section of my back removed for the pre-cancer. That is now 4 appointments total, as I was not originally relayed the proper information and the possibility of cancer forming

It was complected and sitting on top of the machine. She would not get up to get it for me. Finally, the other girl reluctantly got it for me and handed it to me. It was about 4 feet away from them.
