She chopped it off and literally brought it back to life! I was so grateful for her. Then I started embracing my curls and started getting curly cuts so I didn't go to Lily for a while but now I am back. She is still fantastic and we are currently trying to achieve long (curly) hair. Lily is very understanding and is honest about what I need to do and what I should stop doing for my hair goals. I have recommended her to 2 of my other girlfriends and they all go to her now. When anyone ever asks who I recommend for them to get their haircut with I always send them to Lily! Also, the salon is super cute!

When she was washing my hair there was water streaming down my back and filling my ears. Once I sat down in her chair she started aggressively yanking at my tangled wet hair. My review is specifically for Elham. I have been going to her for almost 10 years now. My first…read morevisit with her was to help repair my hair from an awful highlight job done by another person. My hair had been completely burnt and was multiple colors. Given the fragile state of my hair, we decided to just color it back to the natural color and let it fully grow out overtime. I have been going to her ever since including following her to this new location. She is the only person who I trust to cut and highlight my hair that suits me. Some hairdressers have a tendency to do the same style across multiple people and that doesn't work. She knows exactly how to highlight my hair, touchup, and cut to frame my face perfectly. I am constantly receiving compliments on the healthiness of my hair and style, and a big part of that is because of the way she tends to hair so precisely. Can't recommend her enough.

I always go away with a cut that lasts and lasts and lasts. This time I haven't seen him in six months. I have let my hair grow out till it's out of control but it still shows the style he created. Tony is the best! Also, his new location is so much fun! It's nestled into Saint Anthony's turnaround shop in Orinda that Tony single-handedly turned into a glorious goi d art treasure hunt. Relax. Getting a haircut seemed like a fun a productive way to spend my free time. I know nothing about the area, but I stumbled upon Sole's yelp page and it said that they were offering $20 off to book with Chelsea. I called and without asking, was told the Chelsea was one of the two stylists available during the date and time I requested. Perfect! Guy, who answered the phone was friendly and accommodating and asked a lot of questions about what I wanted to ensure I would have a good experience. It made me feel like they were very professional, and he really talked Chelsea up, saying she was super experienced, but just new to this particular salon, hence the yelp promo. He also gave clear parking instructions on the phone, which I appreciated. The atmosphere was really clean and welcoming, they immediately offered me water or tea. Chelsea was great. I wasn't particular about what exactly I wanted, but she listened and made suggestions and I totally trust her judgement. She was really calculated and took her time with me. I am sure I was her last appointment of the day, but I didn't feel rushed at all. She genuinely wanted to do a great job and I looked and felt great at the end of it. Like I said, I don't live in the area and I only get my hair cut once every two years, but I would still highly recommend this place and Chelsea. So if you do live in the area and need a haircut, give her a try.

I see Fay to get my haircuts and to get my underarms waxed. Pretty cheap too, about 20% less than at other hair removal salons. The only drawback to getting waxed here is that it isn't a full service wax place, so there is no private room to get waxed. Everything is done out in the open amongst others, so you can only wax parts of the body that you don't mind others seeing. I don't mind... it's just my armpits and is such a good deal anyways! Haircuts are also reasonably priced. Very friendly staff. Bob and the others recognize me and chat with me even though I'm Fay's client. Great atmosphere! I also booked with Telma because my normal wax lady did not have the availability I wanted and I refuse to go to EWC!! My first interaction of texting with Telma was bit of a red flag. She did ask for me to come earlier, but I guess since I didn't reply fast enough, that she had booked another client w/in 15 minutes of waiting for my response. When I got there for my appointment she was not there and I had to wait for her to come into the building. Once she got inside she had to prep then I got on the table and the waxing started. I was already kind of taken back by the fact that she was using the kind of wax that requires the paper strips. I am a regular wax / sugaring client so I know the pain the comes with it, but this pain was so much more intense. Once the waxing was finished and I had gotten into my car, I instantly was uncomfortable. When I used the restroom it burned just to wipe, I had my husband look down there and there was multiple pink / red spots from my skin being ripped. I am having to constantly put neosporin on those areas and be super gentle with it. I recommend doing your research before coming and maybe don't book a Brazilian here.
