The wings came out hot and perfectly crispy, and the blue cheese and ranch were definitely house made. I could taste the fresh herbs in it, which made such a difference. One of the standout dishes for me was the salmon with spicy Thai rice, the rice had this subtle ginger infused flavor. I genuinely don't know how they got that flavor so perfectly balanced. I ordered the Rigatoni Salmon, and while it wasn't an overly bold dish flavor wise, it was cooked beautifully! The salmon quality was incredible, and the little pieces of zucchini, mushrooms, and yellow squash were diced so perfectly that even the texture of the dish stood out to me. You can tell there's real attention to detail coming from the kitchen. And the drinks? The coconut margarita was easily one of the best margaritas I've ever had. I originally ordered the passionfruit margarita (which was also good), but after trying my fiancé's coconut margarita, I immediately ordered one for myself. It was creamy, smooth, and tasted like real fresh coconut milk instead of the artificial canned flavor most places use. As a Brooklyn girl, I hate to admit it... but the Bronx won with this one... The Bronx has great food! I still find myself reminiscing about that salmon and coconut margarita. Suyo is one of those restaurants that stays on your mind long after you leave, and I'll absolutely be making the trip back just for this place.

We ordered the appetizer wings (approx 7 wingettes) They were deliciously crunchy with a delicious mango sauce. My daughter ordered the skirt steak. It was bland. I ordered the red snapper $42, very bland. I paid to try the mango sauce and chilli sauce neither helped. The rice and tostones were good. The Alchemist drink was a nice experience and flavorful. Overall the appetizers and drinks were great everything else not so good.

The cheese sticks are a must when you visit. They are perfectly breaded, fried golden, crispy on the outside and melty on the inside. They come out hot, stretchy, and exactly what you want late at night. Their empanadas? Fire. The beef is juicy and packed with flavor, the chicken one is tender and well-seasoned, and that pink sauce... yeah, that sauce is elite. Creamy, tangy, with just enough kick to make you keep dipping until it's gone. I also ordered the chicken cachapa -- soft, slightly sweet corn pancake, stuffed generously and cooked just right. It's comforting, filling, and hits different when you're craving something authentic. Also on a late night on Dyckman, doesn't get better than this. The juices are fresh and refreshing, the perfect balance to everything savory. Service is quick and straight to the point, exactly what you need whether you're grabbing takeout or sliding into one of the small tables to eat in. The spot itself is small and cozy, no-frills, real neighborhood vibes all day. Overall, this is a classic Dyckman late-night Venezuelan staple. Great food, quick service, and flavors that always come through. If you know, you know.

This was a really good sandwich. I also picked me up some green sauce to go. Customer service was good, I was allow to sample a drink called Papelon and it quite refreshing. I would definitely visit this place again for more dishes that I'm not familiar with. I'm giving thumbs up and Happy Yelping!

I was scrounging around Uptown hoping to find quality late night eats. Yelp told me the place…read moreacross the street was open, so I made that my destination. Upon arrival, it was not what I thought from reviews and pictures. Las Palmas was also listed as being open late, so I crossed the street to check it out. This was more in line with what I was thinking. Unfortunately, the posted hours are incorrect. Instead of having an hour to sit and be served, I had ten minutes to order take out. The interior was cute and I can imagine people here for a date or eating with the family. I decided to go with tacos. An order of fish and one birria. There are three tacos to an order for $16. I think that may be slightly costlier than nearby establishments, but not by much. I worried about the state my tacos because I had a ways to travel. But my concern was for naught. The bag and food were so considerately packed, nothing spilled. Including the consommé in a cup for the birria. Having the first fish taco, made me instantly decide I want to try this hot and fresh! It has a heaping serving of pico and a slice of avocado on top. My one complaint is that I needed more fish. Not sure if that's an accurate grumble or just me being late night hungry/greedy. I warmed the consommé a little before dipping the tacos. The onion and cilantro taste was perfect. The meat was well seasoned and melty good. Not fatty or tough like other birria I've had. I would absolutely return to this spot and try more of the menu
