Stopped in at the Ketchum location for an afternoon iced coffee and felt like my business was not important. I had questions on the drinks/flavors since I this was my first time at the establishment. The response was more indifferent than helpful. I ended up ordering what I thought sounded good but ended up being overly sweet and gritty almost like there were coffee grounds in it. And to top it off, when I picked it up from the counter I said "thank you" and received no response from either of the two people working behind the counter. I would have returned the drink to any other establishment but I was done with the poor customer service. read more

Spent the summer in Hailey and got a gift certificate for the Hailey Coffee Co for my birthday. I love froo-froo coffee drinks and this place delivers. All the flavored lattes I would get had a wonderful balance between being sweet enough but not TOO sweet. You know what I mean? The service was always friendly and they have a nice little patio to sit on and enjoy the beautiful summer weather. read more

Sunday morning breakfast with our family was great at Hailey Coffee. First of all, the place is just a delight. Beautiful murals on the wall and artwork around give a real coffeehouse vibe. You'll learn a lot of lore about coffee from the walls, too. The coffee is outstanding. My daughter-in-law, who is even more picky about coffee than I am, wondered if it weren't even better than her favorite coffee shop in Boise. We ordered several different things to eat. I got the Jordan breakfast, a wonderful combination with sauteed sweet potatoes, bacon and eggs -- great if you want something like a traditional breakfast, but not quite. The service was a little chaotic since we didn't know the routine for waiting for our food up front, so some things may have sat for a while. Still, it was good experience, and we'll likely go back. read more

Normally I enjoy this place but today they gave me a bagel prepared like a sandwich and when I asked them to do it open faced they basically just flipped the top bagel over and stacked it on top of the other one.... now cream cheese on both sides and did not add the tomatoes required to serve it openface. Then when I tried to explain to the cook that I would like it to look like the picture on the menu she told me she was "latino" pretty much indicating that if I didn't speak Spanish she didn't understand me. read more

I had several excellent latte's at this shop and was very pleased with all of them. The Grasshopper was especially refreshing. The only reason I didn't go 5 stars is the traffic noise if you want to sit outside. Other than that, it is well worth a visit. read more

We stopped in here on our way out of town. Hard to decide what breakfast item to choose, so much variety and it all looked great. Ended up with the cheddar chive scone and the ham and cheese croissant, both very good! Coffee was great too. Friendly and fast service! read more

Way oversold. I came in for the first time at the recommendation of a friend who is visiting and had stopped in there. I ordered a grande latte, scrambled eggs and biscuits and gravy. The first thing that was off putting was the unfriendliness of the gentleman at the counter. I was in a great mood and hungry coming off of a Sunday morning hike. He was short with me and seemed put out when I asked questions about the menu. The second off putting thing was the latte itself. I took the first sip and almost spit it out. The milk was sour :(. A young female employee helped me with that; she was quite nice and made me a new one, confirming that indeed the milk had soured. Then I got my food. I LOVE biscuits and gravy but this was terrible. The biscuits were hard and chewy; I could barely get a knife through them. Definitely didn't seem fresh. The gravy was overly salty. The eggs, while passable, arrived cold. Complete bummer. With other places in Ketchum and Hailey that serve great breakfasts (with a smile!) I won't be coming back here anytime soon. read more

Good coffee shop! Free wifi. A little spotty, but pretty good. Tons of seating, so you can camp out and get some work done. They have lots of pastries in the case and the workers are all very friendly. Decorated with paintings for sale from local artists. Easy listening music playing. read more

Summer help needs a little help. Coffee and meal were good, once we got the right order, but it was after lunch, only 2 other people in the store, and it took 20 minutes to get our order, then another 10 to have it corrected. I can't imagine how long the wait would be during breakfast or lunch. read more

We have a house here in Hailey, and HCC has always been a staple when we are here. No more after today. My boys and I came in and ordered a breakfast sandwich and burrito. After 15 minutes, I checked in and was told it was "almost ready." It was quite obvious they hadn't even BEGUN making the two simple items, and were in zero hurry to do it. I watched as one wandered back in to the cafe from who knows where, and not wash her hands. The other wiped her hands on the back side of her shorts, and also didn't wash her hands. The one currently preparing my food was both on her phone and taking little bites of food while preparing mine. I hold a food handling certificate, so this is only angering me more. I have watched drink after drink customer come and go while we still wait. At least only one of my kids was hungry; I can't imagine if we all wanted food! Won't be back any time soon. It's now been nearly half an hour. No food. Was also told they would refill the water pitcher when my son wanted water. Nope. UPDATE: My son's order was wrong when we FINALLY got it more than half an hour later. I went to complain and they both looked at me like I had two heads. The one preparing the food didn't like that I told her I was watching her tool around. "We're VERY busy..." which it total BS. She then slammed my food down and stormed out, yelling. The other girl apologized and offered to re-make my son's sandwich, but I wasn't about to wait around for another half an hour. Done with this place. read more

Good coffee and quiche. Cute shop with friendly service. The water they used for my green tea was way too hot and left the (pretty good quality) tea tasting burnt, but that is common at coffee shops. Parking can be difficult, especially if there is a lot of snow around. read more
