VERY DISAPPOINTED to be a woman ripped off by a garage again! I took my almost brand new Subaru Crosstrek for an oil change and was told I needed the rear differential fluid changing out as 'discolored'. I'd had the car for 6 months and done less than 10k. Being a responsible owner and not knowing this was wrong, I said yes stupidly. Subaru in Twin Falls then told me I only need this done at 30k service. Great service!! Just in the beginning of our fall travels in our 2010 Airstream Interstate (Mercedes Sprinter Van) and the service warning for our breaks came on just as we entered Katchem. We stopped off at a another auto repair and they were swamped so they referred us here. We called a head and spoke with Brandon and he got us set up for the next day. Brandon and the whole team were awesome. We had to wait for parts but Hailey is a pretty awesome town so we didn't mind spending time here. The next day they completed the breaks, replaced the Fuel filter ( we found a leak) and they found one of new tires had a slow leak. We're now at their south location and same excellent service to repair the tire. I thought their price was fair a least better the Los Angeles Prices. Our 2017 Acura MDX broke down while on vacation and we had it towed to the Hailey Auto Clinic on a Wednesday afternoon. They were able to determine the problem, order the necessary part, fix the car and get us back on the road the next morning. They then checked back a few days later to see if the repair had worked completely! And they gave us a good recommendation for a place to eat dinner as well. Wasted two days dealing with a simple diagnostic that needed to be performed. First visit they lost my appointment even though THEY confirmed it. On the second visit, they said they needed 3 hours but four employees were having a leisurely chat outside and not doing any work. It's like they wanted to make me wait JUST to make me wait. Went in to have my truck serviced, oil changed and a new fuel filter (it's a diesel) cost me $509.00. That's a pretty expensive service. I've use these guys before and never paid that much. The work is good, I have no issue with their quality of work. However, the pricing is outlandish. I did some checking and I could and and I guess will in the future go to Twin falls, I could have gotten the work done for a little less then half of what Hailey auto charged. I like to stay local but really I can't justify the expense. Yeah, they won't see me again for a while. read more

This auto shop has incredible service. I came with a phone call's notice only five miles away, and when I pulled in, they immediately saw that I got help. My sprinter van had the lights go off on the dash, but it was still running and driving just fine. I was driving while it happened, and it was a big concern because I didn't know what would happen. After I pulled into Hailey Auto Clinic, there was a mechanic who came out to my van with me and did a quick inspection. He told me that the only risk I had while driving in this was that I wouldn't be able to see my speed. So, he was very helpful and gave me about five minutes of his time for free, all to assure me that it was safe to drive. It was incredible service and I would recommend Hailey Auto Clinic to anyone driving through. read more

Brought the car in for service with two specific to-do's: change the oil and do a diagnostic on the traction control. They did the oil change, then didn't do the scan (which takes maybe a minute), just moved the car off property to store it. Why they didn't plug in the GM scan while they had it in the service bay, I'll never know. I do know that I spent an hour on two trips to this shop and they had 8 hours to do the job but didn't. They think I'll now come back so they can complete the work?? Not. Truly bad service and would not recommend. read more

What a rip off!!! They sent me a coupon in the mail so I thought I'd try them. I made an appointment for an oil change and a Winterization Special a week in advance being promised that my car would be ready by noon so I could take my dog out. I got there at noon and they hadn't even started on my car yet. I had to go back to work and it was done at 5 pm. An oil change at Nelson's with synthetic is under $50 at Jiffy Lube it's under $70 here it was $104.40 plus another $69.37 for the Winterization which includes all the fluids you usually get with an oil change. technically ok, over priced hacks, yes...diagnostically challenged. YES. They lean towards money as opposed to doing the right thing for the customer. Can replace parts, but are they properly TUNED... NO . I know ,being a former mechanic how much PARTS would cost me as a DUMASS. My Ford truck needed repair and the local ford dealer was booked. I needed my vehicle as soon as possible. Hailey auto clinic was able to diagnose the problem and have it fixed within 2 days for a reasonable price. While my truck was there it had gotten a crack along the bottom of my windshield. When I told them about it the owner didn't hesitate to say he would cover getting a new windshield. I highly recommend this place to anyone who needs car work done. Great ownership. One of the best car mechanic experiences I've ever had. Showed up to have my alternator looked at and was told that it could be fixed in an hour. The owner, Alex, drove me to a coffee shop so that I could get some work done while he replaced my alternator. He picked me up an hour later and I was on my way. Definitely would take my car here again and recommend it to anyone in the Wood River Valley. read more

Service from 50 years ago :D -- our car was overheating and we called in - Alex told me where to find the engine size (I'm a scrapbooker not a mechanic :P) and he ordered parts before we got there. Took the car in and took a seat with my son to wait for the 1-2 hour repair. Alex walked in and said he needed a few minutes for the engine to cool off and didn't want us to have to be bored and sit in their waiting area. He offered to drive me to a restaurant or even to my house. I told him our house was actually about 10 miles away and we didn't want him to have to drive that far, he didn't blink an eye and said he'd take us home and come get us. He drove us home and sent their receptionist to pick us up as soon as it was finished 1.5 hours later. I checked the charges, there was no charge for his 40 mile round trips and the cost of the repair was equal to what was listed as normal for this type of repair at other shops. Their shop was very clean and both he and the receptionist were very kind and the receptionist even clued us in to where the best places to eat in Hailey were located since we had just moved into the area. read more
