It is with upmost confidence and without hesitation that I recommend this business. Yes, I will admit that I did work here up until last year and that may make me biased, but there are plenty of people who would not support their former employer for the very reason I DO support SVAC; they know too much about what goes on behind the scenes. I have seen first hand how the Repair Department goes above and beyond to try and fix a problem and do so as reasonably as possible. They do not fit the stereo type of shifty mechanics trying to bilk or take advantage of the client. The Detail Department is diligent in trying to see to every specification of cleaning a client's vehicle. If there is something they miss they are accountable and try to correct the problem asap. I am not giving a 5 star review because Automotive repair and detailing is not an exact science and sometimes it simply can't be perfect or just like new, it is the nature of the business (and frankly, life). My experiences and observations of SVAC is that they do their upmost to serve and make their clientele as happy as possible. The Sun Valley Auto Club blew me away with their customer service and going above and beyond the call of duty. They have gone out of their way to make sure everything was just right with restoring and rebuilding my 71' VW Super Beetle. They also take care of my wife's Volvo. We all know how expensive those European cars can be to work on but the Sun Valley Auto Club charged us a fair price for any of the work on her car. Just as everyone else has worked with many shops in their lives, I can easily say this one sets the example for how other shops should be. Margo and Wolfgang were in constant communication with me from day one. They have kept me informed and up to date with what is going on. They will do whatever it takes to make things right and ensure quality in their work. There are not too many places that I would trust with my cars and this is one of them. The business is run professionally and mechanics are well trained to take care of any problem. If by chance, which has only happened once, they do not have the ability for a repair they are quick to say so and always have a recommendation of where to go for the best possible service. I have never had a bad experience here and often receive a call as to whether "everything was to your satisfaction" (which so far has always been a resounding yes!). Never before have I received this level of service at an auto shop after paying and driving away. The company is very involved with the non profits of the valley and sponsors the road rally every year to benefit at risk kids. If I owned an auto shop this is how I would do it. The Sun Valley auto club has by far the highest quality of detailing in all of Idaho that I've seen!!! I personally have worked for Hertz car rental both here in Hailey and in Boise Id and also for Hailey auto exchange and numerous other places here in the valley including the Sun Valley auto club!!! The people at sun valley auto club hands down have the best detailers, mechanics, and over all customer service in blaine county!!!! Sun Valley Auto Club exceeded our expectations on so many different levels. All of the staff from owner to administrative staff are friendly, available, solution oriented professionals. These are people that are passionate about cars and truly love their work. The concierge service is a nice touch without an extra fee attached. They were available to take me where I needed to go while my car was being worked on or, I could use a "loaner' vehicle. They offer a unique service that we are fortunate to have in our valley. I would recommend this to anyone who needs servicing on their cars, oil change, tires, body work, etc. and anyone looking for an amazing, thorough car detail. I had a great experience buying a car from the folks at Sun Valley Auto Club. They gave me a good price and made sure the car was in top condition when I dropped in to check it out. They will hold a car for you if you take the time to drive out. In my case there were 3 or 4 other interested parties that they put on hold until I could drive in from Boise. The facility is really cool too, the are a lot of exotic cars and enthusiasts there. Kids had fun looking around while we did the test drive and paper work. I would buy from them again.
