I HAVE TO GET MY CAR REPAINTED BECAUSE OF HAILCO. I really wanted to give these guys a good review. I love that they have a program that eliminates having to pay a deductible. I understand they are really busy right now and don't have a lot of time to chat on the phone but as another reviewer said, I was the one contacting them about updates on my car instead of the other way around. I also want to state that the hail damage on my car is completely gone. However, after my arrival to pick up my car, we did a walk around to assess if there was any damage they may have missed, I noticed A LOT of new scratches. I asked my rep about it and my concerns were dismissed as normal wear and tear. After I got home I called my insurance company to ask them if they have any pictures that would show whether the scratches were there or not and she said the photos submitted by the shop were either blurry or taken in daylight so it was hard to see. She also said that there were no notes from either adjuster (2) had made about prior damage to the vehicle (ie scratches that were not caused by hail). I have my own photos from before my car went to the shop to prove it. I went out to the car after I got home and immediately took pictures of these scratches, in the daylight, with a cell phone and they are easy to see. My car is dark gray and these scratches are white. I'm really disappointed with hailco, I only bought this car 2 months ago.

How many cards does HailCo think I need to find jammed in the crack of my car door before I am aware of their existence? So far, the answer is not one, not two, not even three, but four. Yes- my car got absolutely nailed by the massive hail. No I will not be using HailCo's services. It turns out my insurance company has it handled. I even called this company and asked them to stop putting these stupid cards on my car, but it was fruitless. The person I spoke to made almost no effort to even pretend to take my request seriously (he asked only my make and model). This is basically littering, and a waste of time and money. I don't know if it's a crime to do this, but it should be. Do NOT give this obnoxious company your business!!!

This is a clear dent left. They said it was door Damage. This is also a pic they had taken as well trying to capture the damage on the car.

Let's talk about Hail Co. if you seriously have hail damage. Take your car somewhere else. Preferably a body shop. the reason why you should use a body shop is because insurance and hail co will claim chips on your car, or dents around the tire area is a rock damage or previous door dings. I had my vehicle immaculate except for one little scratch on my bumper previously. After the hail storm my car suffered hail damage, dents, chips, etc. now after having my car under the care of hail co the whole process honestly was a nightmare. Let's start by the rental, they pay half your rental which seems great. Don't worry it's not much 30 on top of whatever your insurances pays. Which in Colorado it's 100 for to rent an SUV. They will pay your deductible which is nice but, let's just look at the big picture. I was approached by man named Mark Mickey he is the sales manager actually. He was in the field and caught me at my home. I brought two cars for business. A Maserati and a highlander. The highlander was the first to have the insurance adjuster come out too their shop. This is a problem I know for the future, always be present for the adjuster. Don't leave it in the hands of hail co or any company for that matter. They will skip and say this was previous damage and so on. Your not there too acknowledge what is going on. The time I was given for my car was 3-4 weeks in the shop. It took almost 5 weeks to receive my highlander back. The best part, I actually received my nephews Maserati back first. His insurance adjuster didn't come until a week after my insurance adjuster so please keep that in mind. When I called to ask how he received his car back before mine Marks respond because it was an expensive car so they bumped it up. This is where they went all wrong for me. How do you tell a customer that because one value of the car is more it was basically more important. So I ask about my car it will take another 10 days. Which it did. When I finally receive my car back it still has chips, dings, on the highlander they tell me it was previous damage. It was not from the hail. They can't do anything because insurance also didn't write it in the report. This again is why you need to be on site with the adjuster and whatever company you use. The Maserati came back with no dings but the rims were pretty scratched then when before they went in. So currently we have another insurance claim. HailCo stores the cars outside as well between working on them so they are expose to every element and if another hail storm was too come in I guess they just fix that as well? Or probably tell you it was new damage so we can't cover it. If you care about your car please take it too a real body shop where they can retouch paint, Sony's, chips etc. where they went try and get over on fixing the damage. Plus just know your car will be slowed down if they feel they get a VIP or your car that is worth more then your car value. It takes an extremely long time to get your car back. If you get approached by any sales agents from any of these hail companies know they are not body shops. They don't paint. Your car will still come out with some type of nick and they will say they can't cover it because that's not hail damage.

Business must be good. So good in fact the person was able to say to me, "That $1000 repair just wont be profitable for us." Wow.

Eventually they called me back and I made arrangements to drop my car off after hours, due to a busy work schedule. George told me there was a drop box in the door. I arrived at 10:30pm and searched all around the building and didn't find a drop box. I called him in the morning and he insisted I just missed it and there was a Dropbox in the door. I asked him to send a picture of the drop box so I didn't miss it again and that's when he told me they don't have a drop box. I was suppose to jimmy open a window and then push the office door open through the window and throw my keys in. None of which was explained on the phone and not something I'd know to do as that's also considered breaking and entering. This place seems incredibly sketchy. I would not trust them with my vehicle.

I went over and met with George who looked at the damage and within 10 minutes I had an estimate. I took my car over to Green Tech on Monday and George told me it would be ready in Thursday. Thursday afternoon, George called me and told me my car was ready. When I picked up my car, the repairs were perfect and my car had been detailed. I couldn't be happier with my experience and will recommend Green Tech Auto Body to family, friends and anybody who asks. TLDR; great auto body work but terribly disorganized…read more Let me start this off by saying that up until my last week of dealing with GT I was super impressed. Throughout the 8 month process (2 month wait to get my car in, about 6 to fix due to extreme part delays out of their control), Salina was kind, communicative and patient. She called to give me updates regularly and readily gave updates when I called asking for them. The issues actually became apparent when my car was done. Salina called and said we just had to wait on final insurance payments before I could pick it up. After a few days I followed up with my insurance, who had no idea that anything was outstanding and had thought my car would be returned to me. The details would require me to write a novel here but essentially I spent HOURS (12+) over a week's time while my car sat repaired in their lot trying to mediate between GT and my insurance. At multiple points I went into the shop because I was told by my insurance that based on the documentation in the system, they had paid everything and my car should be given back to me. Again Salina was professional and level headed, and offered me their loaner so I wouldn't have to pay for extending my rental... yet I didn't get my car back. In one instance when I went into the shop, Kelly, the owner, and I, got into a more-heated debate... at which point I, a grown woman, decided to involve my dad. As I predicted and have experienced with other mechanics, Kelly lowered the amount of money he was asking for by hundreds of dollars pretty immediately after speaking to an older man instead of a woman in her later 20s. In the end it turns out that GT was issuing new invoices AFTER my car was done, with duplicate line items that my insurance could not approve. I'm convinced I only got my car back when I did because GT was tired of hearing from me every other hour. I was never given an apology when this issue was clearly a product of disorganization on their part and I got the feeling that they were hoping that I would be the one to get exasperated and just pay the difference to get my car back. As someone who chose this auto body shop based on my trusted regular mechanic's recommendation, in an effort to support a small business instead of going to the dealership, I am extremely disappointed and angry after this debacle. Cherry on top: my car was returned looking new and mostly clean but with a large section of tape gunk still on the windshield directly in the drivers' view that I now get to go scrape off.

So easy to work with and everyone was very kind. I will absolutely recommend them to family and…read morefriends.

While examining my vehicle the estimator Paul allowed the hood to free-fall onto the safety catch, which was still in an up position, likely because it was not functioning correctly due to the front end damage. I saw this as it happened, but not quickly enough to prevent it. We opened the hood again to find the frame of the safety catch now pushed down inside the surrounding platform. Paul immediately apologized and said, 'that's on me.' He tried to return the safety latch back to its original position but failed. He then asked for the keys and drove the vehicle inside their shop to repair the catch. He returned with the latch held in place by duct tape surrounding the frame of the catch (you can see this in the photo attached to this review). He assured me they would 'take care' of this when I brought the vehicle back for repair of the front end damage. Upon receiving their repair estimate via email later that day I noticed it included a line item for $96.47 for the safety catch. The line item showed labor was 'included.' At this point I decided it may be better to take the vehicle to a certified Volvo repair center because the estimate from Quality One indicated they were not qualified to re calibrate the front end camera. I returned to Quality One later that same day to ask for compensation for the broken safety catch. Paul seemed willing to compensate me for the damaged catch, but then the owner PJ was called in. PJ basically said as far as he was concerned the safety catch was already broken and I should just have insurance cover that cost as part of the overall repair. I tried to reason with him, but he wouldn't budge. This has been very upsetting for me, as Paul clearly admitted to breaking the frame of the safety catch. At this point there is nothing I can do but post this review as a warning to others who are considering using Quality One Dent for their repairs.

All Danielle the Business Manager has done is confirm exactly what I said. They didn't fix my car…read moreright and it was extremely difficult and exhausting to get Quality One Dent to admit their mistake and fix it. Exhaustingly and after much dialogue they made a second attempt to re-install the same exact bumper. Interestingly, after their second attempt it aligned better - so it was poor quality the first time! It was the exact same bumper and it was never replaced with an OEM bumper so why couldn't they admit it was shoddy workmanship and as Danielle stated "take great pride in their work and commitment to customer satisfaction" - and fix it correctly. Ultimately, they could improve the result - they just didn't want to! Look at the attached pictures (and also my previously supplied pictures) and you be the judge. These were MY photos - not Quality One's photos. After two attempts, with the SAME exact bumper, ironically, they were able to realign better. Because of Quality One Dent's refusal to accept that the first install was terrible, BOTH sides were difficult - including Quality One Dent. After holding onto our car for many, many weeks, and when it was apparent they had to make a second attempt to install correctly, now all of a sudden Quality One Dent had no room for my vehicle at their lot. They had no problem with the multiple weeks they sat on it at their lot (when they said they would only need it one week) but now because they're angry and unwilling to work with their customer, they wanted us to take it home with the initial bad install and shoddy workmanship and bring it back later. Ridiculous and very transparent their intentions. Incredibly unprofessional.
