I explained to Heather That she had a leak in her radiator and needed to get it fixed. She drove it for 2 months and brought it back for warranty work on her engine. I turned in a warranty claim when the adjuster come out to look at engine, she ran it hot and blew out the heat tabs from running engine hot due to hole in radiator. My supplier would not cover under warranty due to that reason. I felt bad because she was one of my customers, I offered to replace everything at cost the engine and even the radiator.

What I didn't realize at the time was that this shop has two different names Discount Automotive Repair and Skips, the address on the warranty that I was provided says 2103 W Pioneer Parkway Pantego Texas 76013. After I picked my vehicle up and paid $ 3018.00. I was told under the terms of the warranty I had to bring my car back in 10 days for an inspection to ensure that the engine would hold up for six months. When I brought the car back to Ryan he said that my car was cleared. Two months later the car stopped working, it would not turn over at all, I took my car back to Ryan Hogan at Skips Automotive/Discount Automotive Repair and my car sat for two months. After an inquiry to the repair shop, Ryan Hogan tells me that my car cannot be repaired because the claims adjuster where he made the purchase said that the engine warranty could not be honored because my radiator was bad. Ryan Hogan then sends me another text stating that he could repair the engine and the radiator for me for another $1800.00 that should have been covered under the first service when he supposedly fixed/replaced or rebuilt the engine. According to the Texas Attorney General's Offices and the Federal Trade Commission office, if a repair service pursuant to a warranty then charges you for repair work covered by the warranty, this is an unfair business practice and should be reported to the better business bureau which I have done. If this company has done the same to you, report them, and for everyone who is reading this REVIEW do not go to this shop, they are liars and cheats.
