Had someone run the part to him. Fixed and back up running 100%. I found the price to be comparable to other shops / what I see online for services. The big difference is promptness and good communication. When it is 95 out that is what matters most!

What an unbelievably honest and knowledgeable company who responded quickly to an urgent situation…read more My 31 year old hot water tank had stopped working and I needed a new one. After a horrible experience with a different company called Case Closed the day before, Maheu Mechanical arrived on a rainy Saturday and took care of business. They obviously knew what they were doing the moment they stepped into my door. Jeff Maheu even walked to a store to get a part that was needed for my set up! He literally went the extra mile, as they say. The gentlemen were professional, funny, and meticulous about both being safe (tail end of the COVID pandemic), and thorough to ensure I have hot water again after three weeks without. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Maheu Mechanical: professional, reasonably-priced, and they left my laundry room cleaner than when they arrived. Not to mention the absolute most empathetic, considerate manager - Sheri Sorgani. She had calmed me down from my horrible experience with the other company, and got me an appointment the very next day. I don't leave many reviews, but I must highly recommend Maheu Mechanical for your plumbing (and other) needs. I know they will be the company I go to for any future projects. Thank you so much to Jeff, Charles and "the brother in law" (ha) for a job well-done. A++++++

DHC said 'why'? They keep the older AC unit (not their brand) going and I had the time to find and select a new unit. I never used to have these 'annual checks' done until we had DHC. The other company (R&M...) did a fast, perfunctory look at things but never caught the bad stuff so I just did them myself. DHC checked everything by the book. This last visit Nick found a mouse nest in the outside air intake AND a bad ignitor. He called and DHC brought the part so it could get fixed while he was here. Both were biggies and would not have been spotted without the detailed checking Nick did. They also thought through and found a way around an inadequate duct system (from M&R) that made our second floor much warmer and cooler and that saved us money. No one else suggested that. NO ONE. We called someone recommended by a friend but they were on vacation and recommended Vince at Bridge. Despite being a holiday, they were over the next morning and got us back up and running by early afternoon. He and Mike went above and beyond, helping move the tree limb off the wire, rehanging the ATT cabling that was also ripped down, to say nothing about getting our power restored on a holiday and secured everything better than what it was before the storm. They were incredibly affordable as well. We had some other businesses wanting a diagnostic fee to come out or wouldn't come by until DTE did - Vince and Mike saved the day. Will forever be grateful to them and will recommend them to everyone in and around Livonia.

However, the technician let me know after the visit that he forgot his camera scope and would have to return to check the airflow. I paid $231.39 to be told they can't yet diagnose my issues. I understand companies are looking for ways to stay afloat in this economy but taking advantage of customers is not the way to do it.
