Got carpet cleaning done with them. Staff was very kind and they have reasonable pricing. I am a no shoes household. I appreciate that they wore booties. My biggest pet peeve is when people (maintenance, plumbers, etc.) put on booties, then go outside to get something and come back in with the same pair, or reuse booties they used at other homes. I was at first worried, but they redid any spots they might have stepped on without me even asking and worked their way out of the house to limit stepping in spots they already did, which tells me they are attentive and actually serious about cleaning! read more

My capet was cleaned 1/23/2023, my request was removal of pet stains, none were removed, it was very bad service. I was not told of the increase in their charges when I called, the same area was cleaned 7/2/2022 the increase in charges were $270.00 more. Mixed feelings: Good price and was able to schedule quickly. Peter and Jeremy ( really nice guys) cleaned 90% of the whole house carpets very well but there were some areas that required a return call out and one area that was probably never going to clean up in a closet. Return visit was booked for between 8-12pm a week later and during the reminder call the day before I stated I had to leave the home at 12pm so earlier was better. They arrived at 11.45am and clearly hadn't been provided this information. I had to cancel my afternoon appointment at a Customer. Remedial cleaning was an improvement but I've been able to do better with my own carpet cleaning machine. I would still recommend Hagopian , though had hoped for better results and scheduling. read more

I took a 5x7 shag rug in to be cleaned and was pretty impressed by the affordability of it. I dropped it off myself at this location and it was only about $35 for the cleaning. Two minor complaints are that both times I went into the store (for drop-off and then pick-up) I had to stand around for several minutes before anybody noticed me or addressed me (when I picked up, I had to actually go find someone to ask for help), and it was ten business days before my rug was ready. I bought a beautiful vintage rug (80+ years old) and when I received it, it had a slight smell. I had used Hagopian in the past, so I loaded it in the car and took it to the store in Birmingham. Received a call while the carpet was being clean that there had been so dye run, okay I thought, no issues they know what they are doing. When I brought the rug home and unrolled in the living room, I about died. What was a warm off-white rug with vibrant colors was now a dull brownish rug with washed out colors. Upon further inspection, 85-90% of the pile on the rug was gone! All there is now are the bare threads/yarn. I cannot possibly say how totally disappointed I am. I will NEVER take another rug to Hagopian. I am now out the cleaning costs and have a rug that is not worth anywhere near what I paid for. Be warned! They arrived quickly, were very professional and reasonably priced. However, they were here maybe 15 minutes. I thought that was really quick. I had the stairs done, a landing and a bedroom. At first it looked really nice but looking closer, it didn't clean it AT ALL! There were still a couple spots. I took some spray carpet cleaner and a baby wipe and the stains came right out. I guess I would expect a professional cleaning no matter how basic, to clean better than a spot cleaner from the dollar store! If it didn't take up a minor stain like that I'm not sure how clean the carpets actually get with a basic cleaning. read more

I had Hagopian out again (have used them many times) and they did an outstanding job. Mike and Brian are REALLY good. They removed a stain on my living room carpet which had been there through 4-5 previous carpet cleanings. I thought it was unremovable. The stain came from a dog I had several years back who had thrown up on the carpeting and it had remained there for several hours before I found it. The stomach acids had left a dark stain on my carpet which prior cleanings had not touched. I don't know what Mike and Brian did, but that stain is GONE now! They carry all sorts of rugs. From the front door rug to the rug that you don't want any one to walk on (even though it's a rug). There is no other word to describe this place other than variety. It's like they have a rug for every occasion. Be prepared to spend a little bit more for your one of a kind. Yes, they do custom rugs as well. What I do like about the service is that they also provide a rug cleaning service which is discounted if you have purchased your rug from them. They are very good at instructing you on the care of your rug as well. They are having a half off sale right now which is huge for this store. Just had my foyer tile floor cleaned and sealed by Sam and Raj . They were also asked to clean a shower stall but Sam felt it would be a waste of money to have it done since the stains more than likely would not come out. I found the pricing deceptive and the service flawed. I had an antique rug cleaned. I was given a price for it, which I accepted. Two weeks later, I was contacted and told that stain removal services were an additonal hundred something dollars for the "chemist" to remove. I regret consenting, as I essentially gave them additional money for nothing. The stain was not removed, although I was assured it would be. Service was rude.
