We ordered guac & chips, a carne asada Sope plate, an ala carte beef tamale, menudo and a tostada. Definitely way too much for 2 people BUT we got a little taste of everything. I love that the beans are made with chorizo! The guac was nice and chunky. The menudo had hominy, good rich flavor, the tripe was a little over cooked and soft. I live in Los Angeles and was disappointed I couldn't order it with pig's feet. I was surprised because I know the people in HI love their pigs feet! The tamale was moist and had lots of meat filling. It was nice that it came with a small side salad. The Sope was good, they did a good job of making the masa thin and crispy. I'm not a fan of heavy thick masa for my Sope. The thing I missed here is the queso fresco on the beans and on my Sope, instead they use grated cheddar and jack. Parking is NOT fun, the attached lot is super small and shared with the tatoo shop and NAPA auto parts. I would definitely eat here again.

Mexican sounded good to everyone so we picked this spot and we're all very happy we did. Our server was kind and attentive. The place was lovely and decorated with just the amount of fun you expect. Some great photo ops in there. He even told us they were having a mariachi band tomorrow and invited us to come back. The food from the start with nachos and salsa to the end with tres leches was all delicious. I ordered the chorizo queso and it was fantastic. My son ordered the guacamole and it was so fresh and limey. Also delicious. My grandkids shared a quesadilla which was definitely large enough to do so with. My oldest grandson ordered a torte and he loved it. Also a generous portion. My son and I both ordered the grande burrito. He got his wet and I didn't. His was served on a plate and mine came wrapped in foil in a basket. I wish it would have also come on a plate. I like to cut it up to eat and the foil made that difficult to do. We ordered the tres leches to go because we were all so full. Enjoyed it the next day. Three of us could share on piece. It's delicious but very rich.

It took a while to order and to get her attention throughout our time there, but we eventually received everything we ordered. The birria was very tasty, with juicy meat and a crispy shell. The Margarita flights were small, mini tastings which left us wanting more (and yes, we did order more). Regarding the tres leches, it's not the greatest we've ever had but not the worst. Since I have surgery the day after and she was sleeping over, I told her we will take her to dinner and try out the Wahiawa location. It's the old teddys. In Wahiawa same park I'll as Walgreens. Right when you walk in I love the colors and the decor of the place. There was a lady who was so kind and did not get annoyed with our million or questions or pause of I don't know what to order yet. She was awesome and explained in detail what we needed to know. Okay so food that we got and would recommend all. Chimichanga amazing fresh and crispy, Birria tacos 10/10 we did add extra cilantro and onions, street tacos one of each flavor pastor, chicken, and carnitas with extra cilantro and onions as well, chicken quesadillas 2x for my girls, burrito with pastor and beans and rice on the side. Portion size is very generous and everything was fresh to order. Rice and beans was so flavorful could not stop eating the on its own. My daughter them did not have any trace of there quesadillas left to share they loved it. My chummy was big I could only eat half and loved the flavor, street tacos is where it's at will order that next time. Birria was not oily or greasy at all and the consommé was not salty at all. So good you could drink it. Now there salad we had a red one and a green one. Spicy but manageable we chooses medium kind you. They do have a spicer option but I didn't want to have all that going on before surgery . Would totally come here again and try more things. Super family friendly, staff is great and family like, attentive to customers, food is fresh and hot. Next time I'll take picture it was just so good I for got that's how you know it's worth a try.

Both spaces are very clean. I ordered two plates to go. Both plates came with rice and beans which were delicious. The gave a nice quantity of food. My meal of choice was the combo chili relleno and a beef enchilada with the red sauce. Both were delicious and did not get drowned out by the sauce and cheese. Excellent balance and taste. With gas prices being what they are, coming here is only going to happen when I'm in the area. One burrito was chicken with green sauce. The burrito itself is about a foot long. Filled with your choice of protein (steak or chicken), rice, beans, cheese, sour cream, guacamole, and choice of red/green sauce. The red sauce had a little kick and a nice flavor. The green sauce didn't have much flavor. The other burrito was steak with red sauce, this was the better of the 2 according to hubby and son. I had a pork tamale. It was decent. There was a good amount of meat but not enough in comparison to the tamale. All in all good food, decent price and I would return.

I ordered a veggie burrito plate and hubs ordered a chicken quesadilla. Our order was quickly ready, that's great! The flavor, sigh... it was meh; I expected much more in the way of flavor. (It was bland) The refried beans had cheese (after I asked for no cheese on anything, so I didn't eat those) The size department for the quesadilla was definitely not worth the price. Unfortunately they forgot the chicken on it so a double whammy there. I was going to grab a pic but he was finished with that tiny thing before I could take one! LoL! I have this place a try and this is a one and done for me, though.
