Cheeseburgr !!
Christoph N.

There are nights like that, where a good old burger is exactly what you need, and for those moments, you just wish that a Haché branch would be your neighbour. Their cheeseburger, although a classic, was super tasty, and the "brioche" bread turned out to be the right choice (you could go for the ciabatta). The meat, eventhough slightly undercooked for my taste, was top quality. If you're tired of classic fries, go for the sweet potato fries, or the wedges, both delicious ! Too bad they don't offer any draught beer though.

I've been dying to go to Hache for quite some time now and yesterday it was finally time. Although I'm not one of those who really craves burgers what I do appreciate is a good burger and my gosh to Hache have them. There theme, I feel, is most definitely gourmet and this is shown through the decadence of the venue itself. The atmosphere is relaxed formal and the design of the building itself is very rustic suave. Odd for a burger joint really but the menu suits this with their unusual and original burger options. We started with nachos which were tasty. Standard nachos with all the trimmings and large dollops of them, with plenty of jalapeños which I liked. It was a great start to our meal. I then opted for the Milano burger with extra bacon. The Milano burger had a Mediterranean twist being served with mozzarella, sun dried tomato sauce, and parmesan. I also had a side of wedges... The fatter the chip, the better! The burgers came quickly and were presented well. I cut mine in half and the burger was cooked to perfection - perfectly medium rare and not over soggy (at first). It was, delicious. Every mouthful I enjoyed and I finished it all! Just a perfect combination of flavours and the bacon gave it that great salty addition - NOM! The wedges were also good, standard really but I love wedges and hadn't had them for ages so I was happy! Overall it was a very pleasant evening - I'm still slightly unsure that the theme of the restaurant matches the burgers but hey, who am I to judge when they serve good food!

Look at the size of those onion rings!

I came across Haché on Yelp when looking for somewhere to eat in Hoxton to meet up with my boyfriend and a friend. I saw some pretty great reviews, saw that they won TimeOuts Best Burger in London award at some point and read the story of their business on their website, which I really liked. We booked a table in advance so we didn't risk losing out. We arrived 15 mins early but they seated us straight away. I love the decor - classy and sophisticated for what is essentially an American burger joint, and a great range of burgers on the menu. I found it hard to choose which one but ended up ordering the Rebluchon cheese as I've not eaten it before and i remembered reading a great review on Yelp about it. It was an excellent burger. I had it with the brioche bun and looking at the ciabatta I think I made the right decision. We ordered four sides for the three of us to share - sweet potato fries, wedges, onion rings and coleslaw. I can't fault any of it. The onion rings were huge and I really liked the crispy batter of them. We were pretty full after our burgers and sides but dessert was too tempting! We had a cheesecake to share, which was really light and creamy, and then my friend had a vanilla milkshake and my boyfriend and I shared a naughty milkshake with Oreo, Tia Mia and Baileys. It didn't taste very alcoholic but it was great. Perhaps a little pricey at £6.95 but a nice treat. I'd definitely return to try another burger!

Burger with gruyere, truffle aioli and caramelised onions

My quest for the best burger in London continues! Hache is definitely a new contender, with an intriguing menu of burgers, some classic (cheddar and bacon) and others on the more adventurous side (served in a smoke filled some anyone?). I opted for the gruyere with truffle aioli and caramelised onion. Delightfully gooey and indulgent, and my medium rare was presented to perfection. The sides left a little to be desired- chips were disappointingly thin and lacking season and were brought to the table lukewarm. The onion rings were massive but slightly greasy. Good atmosphere and friendly service, maybe a bit pricey at around £16 for burger and chips? A solid choice though!

3* might be a bit harsh but people I know have raved about this place and I really didn't think it was allll that. Plus points - if you like burgers... Well there is a lotta choice on toppings, they cook medium rare if that's how you like it, the service is good and finally the decor is nice (a more classy burger joint). The not so good - my burger was ok (big portion) but bland, the cheese mix on top of mine had a terrible texture and the most disappointing was the brioche which wasn't buttery and was way too dry. The other options on the menu all sounded quite nice and the price hasn't put me off returning however I just thought it was all a bit meh!

My wife and I had been talking about going to he branch of Hache near South Kensington about a year ago. She had a recommendation from a work colleague. We never made the trek out there and that would be the end of a poor anecdote. However, while walking to another restaurant, we noticed another instance of Hache on Curtain Rd, near Old Street. I made a mental note to come here during my lunch hour. I was thinking I might get take away, but it wasn't clear that was an option. I just went with the flow and took a seat at one of the tables. There were not many people there, but this would mean a short waiting time. I got the bacon burger (I forget the exact name they had for it) and a side of fries. You could choose the type of bun and I went for the brioche. Not as full of sauce as others I have tried and the bun held up well. It was layered with tasty ingredients. It was a good burger. When I got the bill, it came with a little dish of Smarties, which was a cute touch. I would be happy to come here with a group of people from work.

The service was very good and quick! I got a steak Bavarian burger, and split the truffle fries and sweet potato fries. It was amazing and I would 100% recommend!! I also go the strawberry and cream milkshake! amazing :)

A friend and I made reservations for an early dinner. We walked in and were immediately charmed by the wait staff. Everyone was lovely. As a burger fan, I typically don't expect too much from a new place, so I was pleasantly surprised. I did not go for anything 'special', just the normal burger with cheese on a brioche bun. Gorgeous. Very tasty. I will have to return to try out something new.

For me, there's no greater comfort food than a thick, juicy burger. When I'm seeking the perfect burger, I have my favorite go-to restaurant: Haché Burgers in Shoreditch. Combining French cuisine with quality burgers, Haché's menu offers something for everyone, and it's sure to be flavourful and delicious. The Haché chicken club sandwich was topped with ripe green avocados, which added a cool creaminess and blended perfectly with the saltiness of the cured bacon and aged cheddar. The chicken was juicy and cooked to perfection, and every bite left me wanting more. I paired my chicken club with an order of truffle cheese frites, which did not disappoint. The cheese was melty and delicious, and the hint of truffle flavor wasn't overpowering, but complimentary. My partner ordered the nachos, which were smothered with golden cheddar cheese, topped with spicy jalapenos. The sides of sour cream, salsa, and guacamole added the right amount of kick and coolness to the dish that I couldn't help myself. I had to reach for a chip, and I'm glad I did. I have zero complaints on this one. The baked camembert was to die for, as the chef drizzled honey across the top, which mixed with the heat of the chili to really give your taste buds a surprise. The ciabatta bread was toasty and crispy, and perfect for dishing the camembert into your mouth. Haché is gourmet comfort food. From the moment you walk in, the whole experience is comforting. The staff and service are more than you can ask for, and the restaurant design feels upscale but welcoming. I highly recommend.

An boring American that loves his burger, and this place did not disappoint! The the burger Patty is testy along with the truffle sauce... That is fancy! And then goodness they don't salt the fries! I prefer no salt. The facility is clean, and the staff is really nice. I have no complaints! I recommend this place to any travelers.

This place might have one of the best burgers I have had in London. I had the fume which is the smoked burger. The presentation is really impressive and worth giving a try. I had a side order of sweet potato fries and friend onions strings. Yum! The ambience is casual but a bit 'smarter' than your average burger place. The service was really good and friendly.

Oreo milkshake

Both times I've been here the food has been superb. Tonight I ordered the St Patricks Burger which came on smokey coleslaw. It was brilliant. The fries are great and my splurge on the Oreo milkshake proved to be an excellent decision as well. Couldn't recommend more especially if you are looking for a burger.

Great burger place in East London!

Walking around Shoreditch we were looking for somewhere to grab something to eat. stumbled upon this gem via my partners approval of how it looked, her choice was a good shout! On looking at the menu I was sold by the selection of chicken burgers plus they had my favourite lamb burger. However I went for a total curve ball choice of the duck burger! I was not disappointed. my partner ordered a falafel burger which I also sampled and was blown away. The service was great with everyone friendly and offering a prompt delivery of our orders. I felt the food was presented very well which wetted or appetite even more. It is one of the best burgers I have in London and am eager to go back to try the other burgers on offer! We shared a salted caramel cheesecake for dessert - I won the choice of dessert this time round and cheesecake is my favourite - I felt it was very nice, a bit sweet, but very nicely garnished with some fruit. Overall I would suggest if you are in the area and want a burger this is the first point of call!

Final verdict? I only ate burgers one my entire trip at London, and it was at Burger & Beyond, but I can confidently say that it was one of the best burgers I've EVER had. I made a reservation for lunch at 12pm on a Wednesday. We ended up showing up 15 minutes past our reservation time due to delays on the Tube, but one of staff members was chill and had no problem with us arriving late. In general, customer service was amazing. Our server was friendly. Not as attentive, but that's what I expected at this point having been in Europe for 3 weeks. Food and drinks came out in a timely manner as well. Burger & Beyond has a lunch special by which a burger and chips were 10 Pounds. I got the Bougie Burger (single patty, double cheese, marrow mayo, steak sauce 2.0, and beef onions), and it was excellent. If I had to nit pick anything, it would've been nice if the bun was toasted. My fiancé got the Bacon Butter burger, and he was blown away by his as well. Sidenote: the best fries I've had in my 3 week trip in Europe was neither from Paris nor Brussels but in London at Beyond & Burger. Golden and crispy goodness.

I'm a big fan of the Honest Burgers chain. Pretty much their entire food menu is gluten-free; all you need to do is swap out a regular bun for a gluten-free one. The prices are also really reasonable, especially for London. My food cost a little more than it would have done compared to my local Honest Burgers in Manchester. The restaurant is over two floors, the main seating area is downstairs however, on the ground level, there is a large bar with bar-style seating - ideal for a quick lunch, and there is also an outdoor seating area - ideal once in a blue moon when we get some half decent weather in this country. I did find it unusual to hear that they are closed on Sundays, although there are plenty of other Honest Burgers restaurants within walking distance as an alternative. They were quiet on my visit, though, so perhaps this location appeals more to office workers looking to grab a quick lunch than typical diners. They do add a service charge onto the bill here; however, this is the case at all other Honest restaurants and pretty much everywhere in London - a practice I don't agree with, as I feel it should be the customer's to decide how much they want to tip - if at all! The food was excellent. I had the gluten-free Buffalo chicken burger, which was delicious. The flavours worked perfectly together--the heat of the buffalo sauce balanced beautifully with the coolness of the ranch mayo with the American cheese. The buttermilk fried chicken patty was very good, too--thick, juicy, and not at all dry--served on a bed of crisp lettuce. As far as chicken burgers go, this is one of Honest's best, coming in second only to the previous local special in Liverpool. The cleanliness of the restaurant could certainly be better - I had to wipe some crumbs off the table, and I was given a pot to put my sauces in, which was dirty. My server was nice enough, but again, I feel the service is better at their Northern locations in Manchester and Liverpool. 4* - While it might not have been the best dining experience I had during my time in London, it was certainly the best value for money, despite issues with cleanliness, my food was good and I would return for sure.

We started with a couple oysters each which were probably the best oysters I've had in a while. Excellent. Then I got the B&L combo, which was their classic burger, half steamed lobster (with a rich lemon butter sauce on the side), fries, and dipping ketchup and mayo on the side as well. The burger is very tasty, super rich, fairly messy. On the "wetter" side of burgers. The lobster is presented nicely, pre cracked for ease. The meat tastes fresh, sweet, with a nice bite. The fries too were good! Very classic, nothing crazy, hot and lightly crisp. One thing that surprised me - when ordering, the server asked if I wanted cheese and bacon on my burger. Not knowing any better, and thinking she was just checking that everything on the burger worked for me, I said yes. These were both up charges. We were also charged for the water, which I figured we would be when they opened a fancy bottle of still water in front of us. Not sure if there was an option for still filtered water. The up charges just weren't really communicated. Not a big deal compared to the price of the meals, but I could see this being iffy to some, so noting!
