Casa is a domestic violence shelter that is supposed to be able to help abused domestic find…read moresafety place to be in to help us move forward and not to give us hope and to help us move on from our domestic relationship and our we are going through. They do not do that here at Casa here in Hagerstown. They are more concerned about coming staying on cell phone watching whatever they can on their cell they don't advocate for us. The assistant admitted that it's his fault that his employees are not trained properly so here they are putting 18 who are pregnant back out on the street and pushing them back to their abusers because they had nowhere to and they didn't help them are putting people that are totally disabled and not accommodating to their allowing them to be victimized and abused within a safe place the shelter by other clients for a week straight and they done nothing about it the abuse happened in front of an employee and nothing done for a whole have all kinds of but when it comes down to it, they don't help not one violence victim with any of that funding so where is all the fundraising money going? Where is all the federal grants the state is all this money? all the food that they have in the pantry that the victims of domestic violence in the shelter does not get where's all the hygiene the personal care that they have a big closet full of food of hygiene and personal care they get trial size shampoos and conditioners instead of getting the big sizes that are donated so there's a lot of question here. Where is all the donations? Where is all the money because us victims of domestic violence we're not getting it we're not seeing it. We're not getting any help. They just put out on the street with nowhere to go no food no nothing no safety plan no counseling no crisis intervention a girl in her 30s with children left and went back to an unsafe place a girl who was pregnant that is getting ready to give birth was in the next week or so has nothing for her unborn child and no home and went back to her abuser. She actually didn't even want to hear what i had to say. she rushed me through everything and just handed me a piece of paper with "resources" and sent me off. Now, my kids dad is doing good on his threats and hes going to take my kid away. thanks for the "support".
