There's always a wide variety of items from tools, furniture cabinet, flooring, and many other things I available for purchase a lot of times especially on days where they're running a really good sale. The fact that they run sales on items that are already discounted makes me come back and the quality of the good so you are inspected before being put on the floor so you don't have to wonder if it works or not. But if you're buying something electrical, you can always check to make sure before you buy which I appreciate.

We never actually called and verified the status. Call it cowardice perhaps but I didn't follow-up because I think our animal was dehydrated and I'd guess it had at best a 50/50 chance if there wasn't a nursing mother on hand, which seems unlikely. I cannot verify whether or not this is a good place to take an injured wildlife, but I wasn't able to find any good alternatives. Hence the 4 star rating. --- SITUATION I was pointed to this service by our vet as a young, wild rabbit was injured by lawn equipment. The woman who took us in wasn't especially empathetic, but then I more want a professional focused on the wildlife. I didn't really need anyone to make me feel better. I drove a very long distance to get here and donated money to the program. They indicated if I wanted updates to include an email address but I didn't get any updates. The only evidence I immediately see was that there were a lot of ducks on the property in pens that seemed to be doing fine. EVALUATION? I would hope that a quality wildlife rescue service would include some kind of transparency about their operations, but I fully recognize and understand not wanting random visitors to come into their offices and operations. It's probably stressful to the animals and could introduce pathogens. I tried to look up how well their running things via independent auditor. The only thing I could find to verify their status but the service does have a positive status report with Charity Navigator, which seemed positive. If I had some idea that the donations were helping wildlife recover, I'd would definitely donate more. Also, if it was clear they were part of a larger program to both help wildlife and address larger issues, especially with endangered wildlife, that would be a major draw. That said, having been a part of nonprofits, I know you do what you can with the resources you have. So really this review is just a big question mark. While, I'm glad there was a service available to address this need, really I can really just hope that they're doing a good job to help animals. Make no mistake: this whole episode was about as fun as falling down a flight of stairs, but it likely would've been much worse without a place like this. And if you are in the position of injuring a wild animal and can't walk away, I hope this review helps somehow.

My participation in educational events at Claymont has been consistently positive and often…read moreenlightening. That doesn't mean it was ever "easy." Since 1977 I have attended long term and short terms events including one year long "course." Never did anyone on staff or faculty OFFER me mind altering, psychotropic, or mood altering substances. And never was there even a hint of anyone being mistreated. When participants with serious mental or emotional problems were present, they received solicitous care from qualified staff many of whom were former pupils of Bennett who studied with many masters of wisdom who also knew Mr. Gurdjieff and studied with him as well. Claymont is a magnificent mansion and grounds situated on hundreds of acres with various types of living quarter options. In the 1970's, neither JG Bennett, founder, nor Pierre Elliot, principal, recommended psychotropic substances to alter anyone's perception. In fact, just the opposite - students were taught to be present, to observe themselves/their surroundings clear eyed and with dignity, and we all followed a structured, balanced routine which included customary three meals a day at set times. Staff were attentive and appropriate taking care to set respectful boundaries and to nurture the well being of everyone around them. In the 1970's there was no staff "they" DISPENSING drugs or alcohol to adult students and their families. What students may have done with each other privately when not at a scheduled activity is another matter entirely. Claymont did not employ a school nurse or doctor or dentist. Students received all medical services off site from medical providers in surrounding towns. However, some of the students were acupuncturists, naturopaths, homeopaths, nutritional experts, bio energetic gardening experts, or skilled in the arts of herbal and natural healing techniques. They shared their from time to time with their fellow students in a shared community. Today, Claymont Court is a place, an opportunity, a venue where one can attend seminars and events. The school itself, once present in the 1970's, has long since been disbanded. Claymont is a safe and supportive environment in which consenting adults may engage in self growth and self development activities.Those who live today on Claymont property do not staff a school. They staff a center open for scheduling events held by outside organizations who rent the venue for short periods of time. The negative incident stated here may have happened, but it would have been a "private" situation in the sense that all human beings have free will to engage in varied types of social interaction. Anyone with serious mental illness suffers from thinking distortions and mental anomalies which are often inexplicable and also often result in they themselves misunderstanding or misinterpreting the meaning of events in which they participate. Please take this under consideration when evaluating whether or not to visit Claymont Court events in West Virginia.

The receptionist asked us to take a seat and not stand as I had requested, I intern asked if I could wash the seat off before I sat in it as someone had just left it. I also think the cleaning of the donation beds should be better in between clients. The one tech asked me why I cared so much and I told him there was a pandemic and I am a nurse and I care. I usually participated in drives out in CA since there aren't many freestanding centers such as this one that are open everyday. This place and the staff are amazing and inviting. The center is clean and comfortable, and they go out of their way to make me feel appreciated for giving both my time and blood. I donated platelets for the first time ever at this center and that went very well. Though it is a two arm procedure that takes a few hours, the kind staff covered me in blankets and put on a movie for me with headphones. I also donated double red (power red) blood for the first time at this location and the staff were very attentive and helpful with that donation as well. Keep up the good work!
