Every other Habit I've been to can deliver a delicious burger or sandwich in 5-10 minutes EVEN if the restaurant is packed. I'm not sure what the issue is with this location, but my wife and I waited 45 minutes for 2 lousy burgers and when they arrived, they were cold! How is that possible? The place wasn't even busy! Reading the other reviews, it looks like this is a common theme at this location. Ridiculous. The staff is worthless. It took 3 people to figure out how to scan our gift card. The 2 cooks looked they they were grilling one burger at a time. Every employee looked confused about everything. I'm not one to complain about slow service, but there is no excuse for this location to constantly be as bad as it is. Corporate should either send in a regional manager to turn it around or revoke the Habit Franchise. read more

I normally grab that Char-grilled Burger with Fries and a ice cold Coke... my first burger (away from home) was Char-grilled, so HB&G had me from the get go! The Habit is one of my go-to spots. It's a step above typical fast food, and I feel like I'm eating better quality food without breaking the bank. Prices are affordable, and I love that they even offer family meals now. I'm a big fan of their crispy chicken, so when I order a salad, I usually sub in crispy chicken. In all the years I've been coming here, I've always received a full chicken breast sliced on my salad. This time, however, the staff swapped it out for their new chicken nuggets. I wasn't impressed--the nuggets had very little meat and were mostly breading. The salad itself was still good, and their ranch dressing is absolutely one of the best, a must for anything you order. I love habit so much and have never been so disappointed in one. This locations is absolutely terrible. They were short staffed and there was a wait which wasn't an issue. The issue was the food was absolutely terrible. I get the same order at any Habit the Santa Barbara char which comes with 2 patty's. They literally put one patty on half of my sandwich and 1/2 of a patty on the other half. The cheese was still in form from not being melted and the all the veggies were so old and wilted. So so sad because I was crazy it so bad but what a terrible experience. The worst part is is that they were so short staffed and instead of the Manager coming out of the office and helping he just sat there and let them all drowned. read more

DONT COME HERE Pull up after 8pm to be told the wait time is 30 minutes. I can't back up there's a car behind me, 4 in front of me. So now I have to wait 30 mins ? Why aren't these cars being asked to park in front and wait for their food ???? I call several times to ask them to move the cars and the place I call isn't the actual store - they can't help me. So I get out of my damn car and stand in front of the drive through speaker and get ignored trying to get their attention for 2 minutes and get completely ignored - then make my wait allll the around to go inside and tell them to MOVE the line !!! Ok, it's been a year since I visited this place hoping that there was improvement. I gave them a one star then. The only reason I'm back after 3 consecutive bad reviews is that they closed down the Market Street location in Gilbert. When my husband and I entered it looked promising, a lot more employees and two of them greeted us right away eager to help. The reader to be purposely moving about. However, it took about 30mins to get our food. It doesn't look as if there was a manager present. Maybe just a lead? Not sure why a waiting customer should have to wait so long. Just ate here and the fries were not hot. Returned them for replacement and the second order was soggy and lukewarm. When I ask them to replace them with something different, the worker said the fries were cooked correctly and couldn't replace them. What could I say? I just left the fries on the counter and left. This is my first visit to this Habit, with the others nearer my home closing. I was pleasantly surprised that this location has more tables and seating than the one I previously visited on Market St in Gilbert (now closed). There was a good flow of traffic on a Saturday afternoon, as well. My usual BBQ bacon Char with cheese was as good as it always has been, as were the onion rings. The food has always been consistent at the Habit. This location was clean and bright. The service was quick. I hope this location sticks around. read more

Me and my wife came in to dine around 9:20 PM tonight. We put in our order around 9:30 and received it around 9:40. The food was good, but the service was better! I expressed my concern that we wouldn't have enough time to finish our meal before close, but they let us stay a little past close to let us finish. When we were finished eating they kindly provided a container for my wife to put her fries. Often times people leave a review if something bothered them. Very little do people go out of their way to offer praise, unless they have an incentive. This place needs praise where praise is due. read more

They removed the menu from the drive thru and are now calling it a "mobile pickup lane"? It is very inconvenient as they don't have the menu available and want you to scan a QR code to see the menu if you didn't already do a mobile order. My phone is in a dead zone and the menu wouldn't load so I had to order at the window after waiting 10 minutes behind the car in front on me in the lane, and then wait an additional 10+ minutes for my food after ordering. This system is dumb and is not what a drive thru should be. Luckily there are a lot of other burger places on this same street that know how drive thrus should work. read more

Long story short.. A) don't trust this Habit Burger to refund you money if they ask you to fill out a paper refund request form. B) leave if their store looks to be understaffed and/or there are any larger group of people waiting for food. Unfortunately I have to post a negative review hoping this might get the attention of what used to be my favorite fast food hamburger. In late November 2024 I stopped by and ordered a combo using the order kiosk. I noticed a large number of adults & kids seated and standing around. After waiting 10 min I noticed some customers were asking for when their food would be ready. Apparently this very large group of families of junior athletes from a nearby competition had overloaded the Habit Burger staff that afternoon. I settled in for a long wait hoping it would be maybe 20 min as many of these families were getting angry and eventually asking for their money back. After around 30 ish minutes of no food, no status, a still seemingly huge line of orders in front of me, I made the call to leave and ask for a refund. The staff was courteous and asked that I fill out a paper form to receive my money back. I left there unhappy that I'd not get my favorite combo but I was happy to be eating something soon. Following this event I emailed the company at feedback@yum.com to request status or next steps to issue my refund. No reply to my email has come in well over 90 days. As well when I stopped by the location to see if I could get it handled I was told to come back early the next morning to try to meet a manager which I couldn't do. After a second stop by weeks later I wrote out a note to the manager asking for a call back to resolve this. Zero communication has occurred. Sadly it appears that Habit store #393's management team, or maybe the people behind Yum brand (www.yum.com) are not ethical or not in the business of righting wrongs that happen within their business. read more

I've been to This Habit Burger Grill twice now and both times for, wait for it.. their Caesar salad with ahi tuna! As a pescararian, there aren't many options for me when it comes to fast food. So imagine my surprise when I saw ahi tuna on their menu. They also have it in a sandwich! I've only been to the drive-thru and both experiences were pleasant and the staff was friendly. I've noticed that there's typically a wait when I order this salad. I've placed the same order at other Habit Burger Grill locations and there's been a wait, too. I'm guessing the ahi tuna takes longer to prep than most items. I'm not complaining, I'm just happy to have a semi-healthy fish option at a fast food joint. The salad is usually fresh and flavorful. I love Caesar salads and am a little picky with the dressing, and I really like theirs! It's a delicious and filling salad that I will continue to order whenever I need something quick! read more

Entered my to go order at the kiosk at 5:51pm. I attempted to add my coupon for a free burger (scanning and manually) x 3 w/o success. I ended up paying for everything so as not to hold up the line. I did tell a staff member... she said, "oh sometimes that happens at the kiosk" and that was the end of that conversation. My order was finally ready 57 minutes after the original order time. *I wouldn't wait this long in a fine dining establishment but I had already paid.* Arrived home, everything lukewarm and missing the chicken nuggets. Returned and told we would receive a #20 piece replacement nugget order. The cook did #10 nuggets by mistake so waited an additional 10-12 minutes. I also received a discount certificate for a next visit. Overall a very slow and bad experience since they seemed to be properly staffed. On a positive note, a young lady with brown hair and long braids working the front, handled many angry customers with apologies and a smile even though the situation was clearly out of her control. Don't double dip deep fried foods like onion rings. We got our order and they forgot the onion rings. No problem it happens. They said they bring them right out. 10 minutes later I had to go back up and they obviously forgot. Not sure if they quickly dropped them back in the grease to heat them back up. but they were soaked with grease. I squeezed the grease out and soak 3 napkins and ended up throwing most of them away. First time at this location, previously enjoyed burgers at Phoenix location on Glendale Avenue. It has been more than a few years. As you walk in, you are greeted by an order board where you can order for dine in or take out. A bit impersonal, however, came in for a burger, not to chat. Ordered a bacon cheese burger and soft drink. Friend ordered the same with fries. Food was picked up at counter. You help yourself to soft drinks. The burger was good. Gave my friend the plastic tray to use as a plate. I used the paper blotter as a plate. Other Habit had a restaurant vibe. This one has a fast food vibe. Place got crowded at noon. Ordered the Korean BBQ char, dbl char burger, fries, and onion ring. Korean BBQ was not too bad. Kimchi not as good as my mom's but my expectation wasn't too high. Flavor combo was not bad. Dbl burger the patty was little bit on the over cooked dry side. Fries could have been little crispier.
