I've only had delivery from Habibi Grill but it was really awesome. They have some dishes I haven't found elsewhere in the Salt Lake Valley, so that is what I tried. I've had the Chicken Karahi and the Chicken Seekh Kabob Karah. They both have the same sauce but the Seekh Kabob version used ground, spiced, formed and grilled meat where the other had chunks of chicken meat. I liked them both. Their flavors are very strong, which I really like. The meat was tender and delicious. There are a few more items I'm excited to try like the Saag Palak so I think I'm going to have to try them again very soon! read more

Me and my mom are here a year ago in person and LOVEDDD it. This time we did delivery and sadly our baklava was forgotten :( don't know if that's due to Doordash or the restaraunt but that was a bummer. My food and mango lassi seem a little less flavorful than last time and then my mom's said he kebab was too salty. I wonder if they changed recipes because I remember the chicken tikka masala being more of a red color last time while this time it's more orange. I had high hopes for this restaurant based on other reviews, but was disappointed and not impressed. Although there were multiple staff members there, it's seems they prefer you order thru QR code at the table. I placed my order and then was barely spoken to throughout my time there. I ordered the beef samosa which was one of the better parts of the evening. It was yummy and the sauce was good. I still had no drink at this point. I flagged down a server and told them I'd ordered a Dr Pepper fountain drink and he informed me "oh we don't have that". I'm not sure why the website allows you to order something they don't have. And why didn't anyone come over and advise me of that so I could make an alternate choice?? Entree arrived, which was butter chicken and garlic naan. The naan was good, but the butter chicken was really disappointing. Sauce wasn't very flavorful and the chicken was dry. One of the worst butter chicken dishes I've tried. Service was not very friendly nor did they check in very often. Overall, I wasn't impressed by the food or the service here and would not recommend it. read more

Came here for my birthday and got seated in a tight but fun, cozy area. All I had was the garbanzo salad, and it was phenomenal. The sesame and garlic naan we ordered were also excellent. The waiter told everyone else "good choice"--I was half expecting one too. From what I recall, they did a great job checking on us and bringing what we needed. read more

Stopped by here to grab some solid halal food before heading to Zion. Everything we ordered was delicious. Our group tried the beef burger, chicken burger, beef kabobs, lamb biryani, chicken biryani, chai, beef samosa, chicken samosa, and masala fries (to be fair, we stocked up for a couple days of food). Highly recommend the okra dish and the chicken seekh karahi. The tomato sauce in the chicken seekh karahi was so yummy - somehow tasted like a fresh, raw tomato in the best way. We came from California to Utah to visit family. We found this restaurant on Google and went to take the family out to eat. The best food ever!!! We are from Northern California and have tried soooo many restaurants but Habibi Grill beats all restaurants from Northern and Southern California Hands down!!!! The garlic nan here is to DIE FOR. It was crispy, fluffy, the right amount of garlic flavor. The baklava was flavorful and not too sweet! The chai tea here is STRONG but if you are a chai fan definitely would recommend (it's not sweet by the way). Walked in and noticed that it's a restraunt but not a quick place to order and go. So I was sort of surprised. They really had some nice traditional decorations everywhere. Music playing was nice. They did have some private tables which was not weird to me because I have been to places outside of the country like that. They had some group seating as well with pillows. The prices were standard but when I ordered to go there was no where to sit but at a table for in house seating. Staff were friendly and patient as I looked to see what to order. I ordered a wrap which I thought would have came like a kabob but it was ok. It sort of was a bit greasy which I did not expect. The original fries were good. All in all this place was good. The veggie samosas are huge and very good. But some things can be very hit or miss. I got the chicken tikka masala tonight, as basic as it gets, and it was just not good, sorry. Very watery and bland, not at all creamy. It almost feels like they forgot an ingredient or to finish cooking it or something. Solid 4 1/2 stars. Masala Fries were the only meh item I tried tonight. Everything else was packed with flavor. Herbs and spices permeated the samosas. Slow cooked korma and tikka masala with rich sauces that remind you of a home cooked meal that your grandparents would approve of. We were motioned to an empty table upon arrival. Multiple large families were dining when we arrived on a Sunday night. It stayed steadily busy throughout our dining experience. Our server was the owner's uncle whom said he helps out on the weekends. Kind man, who checked on us at the end of the meal to see how we liked the food. With India and Pakistan being neighbors, it's no wonder that their food has some similarities. But don't be confused and think they are the same-they are not. They have their subtle differences like different spices and flavors. I also learned from who I assume to be the owner that Habibi Grill is authentic Pakistani food, not Americanized at all. The ambience here is fantastic-the décor feels like I've been transported to another place and the scents of the different foods invite you to come try something new. The naan was super and I hear that the butter chicken, which my dining partner ordered, was also very good. The seating options are varied-you can dine at a traditional American table or booth, but there are also a few Dastarkhān spaces-where you sit on a flat surface and eat on a spread out tablecloth, much more in line with a traditional Pakistani experience. Next time I visit, I'm going to request to sit there. I enjoyed chatting with a few of the staff members after dining and could tell that they are passionate about their business. read more

The naan is delicious. Probably the best and most authentic naan in Utah. All the kabobs are good. The chicken tikka is my personal favorite. A solid stand by option. The beef is a little too greasy in my opinion but it is still pretty good. The lamb was a little tough but flavorful. This is the most authentic Pakistani food you will find in Utah. In my opinion, this is the worst Pakistani restaurant I ever had, we ordered beef kabab,beef biryani, butter chicken everything that we order was dry + the rice, the butter chicken tasted like fish and the price of the menu it's expensive it's not worth it. The only thing was good. It was the veggie Samosa. We only had a couple bites and we stopped eating as you see in the picture. This is how we left it. I wouldn't recommend it. It was my first time trying this restaurant, and I'm HOOKED! It was delicious. The only reason I'm not giving it a full 5 stars is just because the salad was mainly onion and I had to mix it into other dishes so I could eat it. Other than that, even my husband who hasn't ever tried Pakistani food said he'd come back just to order the Korma.
