I went with the double bacon cheese; in for a penny, in for a pound. The beef was plentiful and flavourful, and thin, which is my preference. They used crispy, smoked streaky bacon (perfect) and a lovely tangy sauce to round it out. And the bun...the bun! It's a super soft brioche and it managed to hold together until the end, pretty rare in my experience. They offer an impressive, almost staggering, array of beers. Some are quite strong so be ready. The two I tried were fantastic and it seems like some thought has gone into the menu. The fries were also excellent and I look forward to trying the cheese and gravy version next time. The prices are very reasonable, though not dirt cheap, which is actually comforting. The ambiance was pretty humble but it's a burger joint so that is expected.
