I live off Sparkleberry in the Woodlands and I was craving Hibachi's and called in two orders for…read morepickup. I ordered the chicken and shrimp entree with fried rice and vegetables that come with it for myself and the steak and shrimp with fried rice and veggies for myself husband. I love the zucchini at any Japanese restaurant. First, the takeout plates were oversized proportions and I ate three different meals as did my husband. Shrimp was perfect but the chicken pieces were dry, but I ate them regardless. First time my husband remarked his steak was a bit dry also but I told him when he heated up some the next day as usual to my findings that the steak would be more tender after heating in the microwave and it was. Overall, it satisfied my taste for Hibachi and for $33 , the plates were huge and we had 3 meals each so you can't really complain. I do think that the small cups of the white sauce which everyone wants poured over their fried rice is an extra $.50 per cup? You only get 1 cup per plate so an extra $2 for 4 half filled cups for plates so large , I may be picky but seems like you should get minimum 2-3 cups per plate. But no complaints here about the amount of food you get so I'll go back when the urge for hibachi hits again. Young lady at front register was nice and polite and I need to mention my order was $33.55 after getting 4 cups of white sauce and I had $33 cash and she said never mind the $.55 I was digging in my purse, so that was nice. There was only 1 car in front and 1 person who walked in for a pickup order but it was nice and clean and she was very nice. Most people don't even smile or thank you for your business so I appreciate good customer service. I'd give it an 8 out 10 for the huge portion s that honestly could feed four people easily. However, I was a bit disappointed at the menu because the only sushi offered is a dragon roll. I ordered that plus a serving of yoga to go. My order was prepared fresh and hot with only a short wait time. My meal items were both tasty. I didn't expect or like that the dragon roll was fried so if I return, I won't order that item again. Note: The sushi dragon roll does not come with wasabi, so you have to ask for it.

Tried this place for the first time with takeout last week and decided to sit inside this time. The…read moreinside is beautifully decorated with Japanese decor. Very intimate setting in my opinion, but also nice for friend dates. The staff greeted and seated us immediately. Our server was very nice. He checked on us a few times throughout our dining experience. For our meal we ordered sushi: Tsunami Maki, and Titanic Fire Maki, both specialty roles. We also ordered vegetable tempura and a Spicy Chicken Ramen with peach hot sake as a beverage. Everything was just as delicious as when we ordered takeout. Both sushi's were delicious and packed with flavor. They do not skimp on the ingredients. The vegetable tempura was equally enjoyable. It came with 2 thick sliced carrots, 2 sliced zucchini's, 2 Onions, and 2 pieces of broccoli with sauce on the side. My fiancé had the ramen and sake and both were delicious. She did say the ramen could be spicier as it had no kick to it. When we ordered takeout we got the Miso Chicken Ramen, Columbia roll, and Shrimp Fried Rice. Everything was delicious then as well. The Columbia roll was definitely my favorite roll. Overall, we paid about $74 for our dine in meal. We really enjoyed our meal and experience at Sola and will definitely be back to try more sushi.

The restaurant itself is super cute on the inside though. Once my server showed up, she was super friendly and checked on me often, which I appreciated. The food was solid, I just wish the corn had been a little sweeter and the egg a bit more runny. Overall, a really nice dining experience and I'd definitely come back!
