Impressed is the word I'm using here. The owner, Ray was the to get things started and came back at the end to check on progress and help finish up that days work. I have more work to be done, they will be getting my business.

Recent rains that found their way into our basement through leaking windows motivated me to deal…read morewith the problem. I considered replacing them with glass block. And, doing the job myself. Although, I am quite handy I knew a professional was needed to tackle a project of this magnitude. So the next step was finding a reputable masonry contractor. Searching for any home improvement company can be quite daunting. I asked around at work with no success. So, Google was the next step. Many show up in the search but all of them have no reviews, Yelp or any others. Literally, I closed my eyes and picked one. This was quite a gamble but I needed this job done. So I called Al Menting Mason Contractor. He came out a few days later to give me a quote. The cost seemed reasonable so I scheduled the job. He was really busy so it would be a couple weeks out before he could do it. The fact that he was busy indicated that he was probably reputable. A week later his skilled masons came out and did the windows. Four, maybe five hours later they were done. The finished product looked professionally done along with a through clean up. This contractor comes highly recommended in all aspects of the process. A side note; post reviews on home repairs so others have some place to start.

Within a few days Al jr. came out and told us that about 10% of the chimney needed to be tuck pointed, the price was fair so we scheduled. Due to a back log of work due to rain Al said they were 3-4 weeks out and would call the day before work was to begin. About 4 weeks later we got the call and the crew of guys arrived the next day. The chimney was repaired and waterproofed in a few hours, pictures were taken and showed to is before they left. I will use them in the future if needed.

We have…read morelived here for 26 years and they were both already here when we moved in, so it was definitely time. We hired cornerstone fence to do both projects and we are extremely pleased with the results. The owner (Jason) bid the job and was very Helpful explaining all the available options, and in designing and building the deck and the fence that would match what we had in mind. He made suggestions to improve durability and aesthetics which we incorporated, and it turned out far better than we expected. We went with a composite deck and a Cedar fence. The transformation took approximately 4 weeks to complete, we watched every day as they deconstructed the old and then built the new. They cut no corners and everything was done to ensure a long life for the deck and fence. Cornerstone's attention to quality and to detail was impressive to watch. from the footing system they used to anchor the deck, to the postmaster fence posts and horizontal cedar planking, they build their projects to last. They did a terrific job, the crew was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Jason was on site everyday and communicated with us daily to see if we had questions or concerns. If you need a new deck or new fence call Cornerstone Fence, you will not be disappointed. Thank you Cornerstone, we love our new deck and fence.

The wall is curved, has a random/sparse color pattern and a different sill. My impossible to match bricks also had to be salvaged. Roberto was quick to give me a fair estimate and work me into his busy schedule. He and his crew came on time, were super nice, worked through two days of rain and wind, salvaged my bricks! and did a great job. They also did some repointing in a few spots. He even came back to caulk later as soon as the weather was appropriate. All the work looks original. I have no concerns about the durability. I would, without hesitation, recommend Reyes Masonry to anyone and use them again.
