We bought our house in 2020 and knew nothing about septic systems or what it meant to live on septic. Waters conducted our independent septic inspection and then also cleaned it out. They were great then and I had hoped we wouldn't see them again for another 5-7 years. Fast forward to today (2023), we began a permit process with Washoe County to put a shop on our property. When you're on septic you're required to go through the health department for verification of your septic system and ensure there's enough space on the property for repairs, etc. We opted to work with Waters through this process to get us through our health department nightmare. Dan Martin was our point of contact and let me tell you... this guy is AWESOME. He helped us navigate through what felt like a nightmare, coordinated with the health department directly, and was so so patient with me, my husband, and all the nuances we had to go through to document our septic system and seepage pit. I am beyond grateful for people like him who are professional, relatable, trustworthy, honest, and hard working. He never got annoyed with us and was so quick to support in whatever next step we needed to do for the health department. If you need septic support in any capacity, Waters should be your go-to. Then another car was next and they were filling 4- 5 gallon bottles. It was going to take forever. I ended up leaving and driving to spring water depot. It was only a 7 minute drive from there. Guess what. There was no line. I filled up my bottle and I was out. Yah I pay an extra dollar more but I'm not waiting in the heat and my time is valuable. I liked Blue Dot but I'll save myself some time and start going to Spring Water Depot instead. Blue Dot is hit and miss. They need to put more purified water stations out instead of all Alkaline.

Of the 3 dryer vent cleaning companies I called, not only did BBV *answer*, then call me back asap, but even was able to squeeze in a service in between calls! Imagine a new rental with so much hair in the vents it was very nearly a fire hazard, and 1 company didn't respond/answer at all and another was over 2 weeks out - ma'am, the place would be ashes by then! Jorge's level of service--EXCEPTIONAL. Kind and considerate, and went the extra mile multiple times. We were having an issue with our dryer telling us our vent was blocked. Jorge checked the vent from outside the house, explaining what he was seeing as he cleared out whatever he could find. Since that didn't fix the dryer issue, the dryer company sent out a (pretty lazy) service person, who took a brief look and said it was still the vent. Jorge offered to come back and take another look, even going down in the crawl space to disassemble and reassemble the dryer vent to see what else he could find. Nothing. It's actually the dryer that has a wonky sensor--thanks to Jorge's genial hard work, we now know this definitively. Thanks guys. Ryan gave me a quote that was significantly better than some other local companies, and was able to come out and fix it immediately. They promised they'd be there at 7am and be done by 3 the next day - and they held to their word! They came out, relined my sewer, installed a clean out, and covered up the hole by 3pm, even hauling away the big rocks they dug up. They did such a great job that I just hired them to repipe all the plumbing in my crawl space and yet again, they gave me a super reasonable bid and were 100% true to their word. This time a crew of 2 younger guys came out - they were extremely polite, got the job done in the time promised, and cleaned up and were on their way out in a day! Plumbing issues are a massive pain in the butt but these guys do live up to their names - they made the whole thing EASY. Every single employee I have interacted with from Liz in the office, Ryan giving bids, and now 3 other service guys have been amazing - super friendly and kind. I decided to go with "Cured-In-Place Pipe" because it only requires a single hole approximately 2'x4' instead of a trench through my landscaping that would cut very big tree roots since the trench would have been within five feet of four very large trees. Replacing the pipe would also have left three feet of my old (orangeburg) pipe from curb to the city connection, unless willing to pay an additional thousand dollars for 3 more feet. Ryan and two crew members showed up at the scheduled 7 AM time and did an excellent job. Finishing around 2:30 PM after the city inspector approved the work. Ryan and his crew were professional and careful with all the landscaping. They installed a new ABS cleanout, backfilled and cleaned up the work area beautifully.
