The cleanest, quietest and best located RV camp in the area; and the owner/managers are awesome.

If you are a family that includes horseback riders then this is the place for you. Definitely a…read morefive star resort experience! For those who don't ride, then this is less of a five star and more likely a 4+ - still great. First of all the staff are just wonderful. Every single person we encountered was lovely, helpful, and ready to make sure we had whatever we needed. The food is outstanding. For me, having my family around the table 3 times a day and not having to prepare the food or clean up (although we did carry out our dishes to the trays to offload the staff, who work really hard) was the highlight of the week. Mealtimes are not flexible, which turned out to be brilliant, since everyone was then motivated to be in the dining room on time! I have to mention that the kitchen staff deserve many thanks. Donovan, the baker did an outstanding job, as did the chefs and the kitchen manager. The bartenders (Chelsea and Laura) were great also. The wine dinner was excellent. The cabin we stayed in was lovely and spacious. The lodge is great - lots of room. comfortable furniture, a huge deck with beautiful views and lots of chairs and tables. Speaking on behalf of the non-riders, the only disappointment came from thinking there would be many activities as alternatives to horseback riding (the website gave us that impression). Those activities actually turned out to be very carefully scheduled and limited (which is understandable given staffing needs). So if you wanted to go kayaking, you could only do it at specified times; the same with the zip line and other such activities. The pottery painting didn't happen at all because the kiln was broken when we were there. And there was no massage therapist, which some had counted on - again per the website. It's a question of managing expectations. Did we all have a great time regardless - yes, despite the granddaughter who got "eaten alive" by chiggers and is still dealing with the bites weeks later. She did love the horseback riding and the shooting however. One more thing. To fully enjoy this resort it is helpful to be physically fit!! Lots of hills and steep slopes. They do offer shuttle service to any activities for those who can't walk there, and the bar opens at 3pm.

Speechless! Hard to explain how well run this place is. The culture of service is what you would…read moreexpect from an ultra luxury report, but it never feels like anything but home. We enjoyed every offered experience as a family and as individuals. The kids program is incredible. BUT I am writting this review because the- NEW OWNERS -Kat (Katilina Edmunds and Curtis Edmunds) should NOT board horses, be trusted with ANY KIND of Animals!!! None. They dont feed, they didnt listen to Jen on how the feeding should be continued. They didnt feed Angel the draft horse that passed because they didnt keep her diet going. These new owners are full of lies. We have PROOF of Testimonies from lots of people witnessing themselves of starving animals. Not keeping up with water for the animals. She frauded 20 people that I know about, could be way more. With the amounts she owes. So fraud. Animals malnourished and a Handful of animals passed as well before and After (Scraps) came out for them. Its so sad. I hope you take this review and make your own judgements. We have SO MUCH PROOF from many others. Not just Jen the old owner. I do hope they seize operations. ASAP!!!!!! THEY REBRANDED TO Hangman Ranch Boarding and trail riding. They wont show documents Jen " supposedlysigned and its looking like nore fraud but forgery!!!" Not good!!! They can come off nice, talk shit, behind your back, treat workers like shit, act like they know what they are doing, have a lie about Everything. TAKE 0 ACCOUNTABILITY FOR EVERYTHING. Its wild. This is a recommendation. No one made me write this at all. Do not board with them. Horse riding lessons. Trail rides. Give them animals. If you pay online she Will and Did cancel alot on people and Did not pay them back. Stopped all communication. And doesnt ever reschedule. And calls it (Non refundable) or the animals....... I got these animals like this...... just no .accountability. so sick!!!!!!! Do the right thing girl.......

This year my mom discovered Praeder Ranch Resort. It was the perfect location for us. There are several family members with campers; the resort offers tent, partial and full sites to accommodate everyone. There is a lodge with wonderful rooms for everyone else (where we stayed). There is an indoor pool, an outdoor pool and a huge hot tub. Also offered is a game room, a great library, a gym and outdoor activities such as shuffle board, volleyball, basketball, frisbee golf, etc. We found trails to walk around to get some outdoor exercise. The lodge is well maintained and very clean; my wife and I very much enjoyed the indoor pool and sauna. Jeff and Tracy were wonderful and took good care of the entire extended family that was there. It's a little out of the way, but worth the trip. We shall definitely be back.

Our weekend was great as always, but made better by Tracy and Jeff the hosts of the ranch. They were so accommodating and friendly. We all gathered at a camp spot for meals and fun. This ranch was perfect since some camped and some not. I highly recommend the ranch for a peaceful get away or a large gathering. They really need to get the word spread out about this place.

As of yesterday, we will not return until it is under new ownership. A couple years ago, we were there and had an issue with some dogs barking. We cleared it up with Tom and thought all is well and that we would continue going there, renting and contributing to the local economy. We made a reservation for two cabins this weekend to celebrate three important life events - my father's 80th, my sister's life changes and a family member's upcoming deployment. All 10 of us drove up from Spokane. When we arrived they came out and yelled at one of us for driving too fast. Then they yelled at us for picking an apple (not listed as not OK). Then, my sister - the one going through difficult life changes was paying our animal deposit. Brenda started in about how they almost didn't rent to us and thought about black listing us. My sister remarked on this negativity, causing Tom to say 'we don't need any of your psychobabble!' Keeping a much longer story short, we decided to pack it in and leave. We had to endure 5 hours in a hot car, the expense of travel, and the downer mood this left us all in, during what should have been a joyous weekend. I don't know whether they rented to us then decided to pull all these shenanigans once we got there, or whether it went bad spontaneously. Needless to say, we will not go back to a beloved location until these folks are gone. The place has been for sale for a long time. Perhaps the negative energy they emit drives potential buyers away. My message to you is buyer (renter) beware.

We stayed in my truck camper with the view of one of the two beautiful ponds. Full water and electricity hook-ups. Privacy and very comfortable. The horses were in their own ginormous pasture, tree lined with ample supply of fresh spring water and clean, weed-free grazing. We only supplemented their food with our own hay, since it was later in the summer and the grass was low. And the adjoining trails were challenging and fun. Water, hills, obstacles... all sorts of opportunity to enjoy! We could have just stayed in one of their 5 cabins along side another of their ponds. We were able to get a peek in a few and they were lovely. A basic log cabin, but in great shape. Our wonderfully gracious hosts, Brenda and Tom, were beyond accommodating. We are returning FOR SURE!!!

We get a 12 ton delivery every year from our normal guy. Went in here when we ran short one year. Now we come in here for there ever expanding online of livestock feed. They everything from Super layer feed to dairy goat feed to pig feed to believe screening pellets. They are a little more than say a North 40, but they are local and seam to treat their customers and employees right, so to us it is worth little extra. This summer will be inquiring about their for 12 ton delivered hay.... may have a new primary source this year. Looking to feed your livestock and live in the area... they are a great resource and don't hesitate to try them out.

I did notice the quality varies each trip & went down a bit starting mid summer but fermenting the feed helped a great deal. Adding some sour milk on occasion made the pigs very happy. I am happy with the end product. I also fed a bit of the fermented pig feed to the chickens, ducks & geese. It kept them out of the pigs pasture & they did enjoy it. They do have a chicken feed so I might try that soon. They also carry an alfalfa pellet. The pellets I will say are likely the best I've found anywhere. I have some very picky Nigerian Dwarves who love their pellets. I think I get 10 40lb bags for around $90. I also tried a multi bale of alfalfa a few weeks ago which they loved also. I tried a bag of the beef protein cubes. I added just a bit to the pig feed before fermenting & they did enjoy that. Pigs often get bored so adding or changing their feed just a little bit here & there kept them interested. My last visit I picked up 40 or 50 lb bags of Barley seed to make winter fodder. I am getting ready to set that up but the seeds do look good & I think it will be a great saver in feed costs over winter as the bags are under $10 each & the sprouts should end up giving me a higher protein feed with triple the size & it will be fresh greens through winter.
