One of the beautiful things about smaller galleries like this one is that you really get to spend time with each piece. It forces you to slow down and appreciate what's being presented. We went in expecting to stay for 15 minutes and ended up staying for over an hour. They have artist shows often, sometimes showcasing newer artists. Otherwise you can just walk in and check out a wide variety of works. They have 2 floors of art on the walls and the basement houses many more works that are in racks. Paintings, wood carving, pottery, they have it all available. One of the best things here is their layaway plan. They are super flexible with their plan and will work out the best scenario that works for everyone. They just want you to own pieces that you like, and offer a way for you to achieve that. Super good folks here and worth checking out.

This place always has something that catches my eye and they deal with mostly local artists. If you're into Harold Balazs, Mel McCuddin, Frank Boyden or Robert Grimes, this is your place! Every month they change the gallery by having a new artist(s) show every month, along with participating in First Friday. First Friday you can mingle with the artists and other art nerds while sipping on free wine/beer. The first Saturday of the month, there's usually and artist doing a demonstration, if you're interested in their process. As for the gals who work there, they're fantastic and very informative. Blair has been a great pleasure to converse with and over the years has become a dear friend. Also, if you can't afford that piece that you're dying to have, don't worry, they do a layaway payment plan. If you're an art nerd or just like to look at pretty things, then make this place a "must stop" to see some great eye-candy.
