Some fifteen years ago, I had Dave re-blue a P38 that I had hand polished. He took over from where I stopped after seeing his ad somewhere. Given the condition of the rusted shut condition of the pistol when I got it, and the accolades I received after showing the before/after shots on a very "particular" on-line forum, his work is fantastic. I've just purchased a similar P38 in slightly better condition and am quite pleased to see his firm is still in business. I may or may not decide to have him look at the this one, but if you work with him, he will do his best to make your firearm look better, at a reasonable price.
