I've been going to this PetSmart for 3 1/2 years now and have never seen the manager that was supposed to help me find what I was looking for. I am motivated to write this review today because it is a pet peeve of mine for someone to waste my time and then justify it's okay because, "I'm not the only customer." * I visit the store to purchase 48 packs of a specific BFF flavored cat food. * There are only four packets on the shelf. * I walk around the store looking for help. I see no one. * I walked up to the cashier and asked if she could help me find out if there are any more of the product ? She said she will call someone to help. * She sent me back to that aisle and I wait for 10 minutes. * I go back to the front of the store and let her know no one ever came to help. She explains that's because he's here checking customers out. * I say OK I'll wait in line and ask him if he can help me. So I get in line and soon I'm next for checkout. * The cashier sees me and says the manager is waiting for you to help you. I let her know that I'm hesitant to get out of the line because it's really grown. But she insists she's the only one that can help me. So I stepped out of line to meet with her. * I show her the packet, just as I did the cashier. She scanned it in the PetSmart "phone". * It turns out they were out of stock. That happens that's not upsetting. (That step took 10 seconds). * I expressed my dissatisfaction for the inefficiency of the process of helping me find the product I'm looking for. I state, "If all employees had access to this "phone" to scan product it would've saved me 15 minutes. I also explained possibly more time because I just lost my place in line to get my question answer. * Her reply, " You're not the only customer here we have other customers to worry about!" * That's called gaslighting Ms. Manager! You don't have what it takes to manage the public. Your job is to help, to make things run more efficiently, to keep product stocked, and to make sure we have a decent experience. * My recommendation to you, Mr. Manager is be a better listener; take feedback as a way to improve not an opportunity to make someone feel uncomfortable. Think about the advice I've given which is to have every employee be able to answer the simple question of product availability.

I have been waiting a very long time to post this! I gave…read morethis five stars so that people looking for positive reviews can see the truth. However this deserves not 1 star. So here is the real deal. The "insider" edition. The regular employees really try hard and are worked to death. They care about your animals, as well as their well-being. Also, they are afraid of the owner because of how cruel she is to her employees. She also flips out on employees as well as management, who work really hard as well. This happens all the time. However, the owner does not care about anything except for her money. She only cares about poodles because she breeds them for a huge amount of money. This is also why she has a poodle rescue business attached to it. Trust me when I say she does not give a shit about her employees or anyone else. She is completely two-faced. That, I want to promise you. I can see it and I can hear it all the time. In addition, let's just say that you may find only one or two people that do not share the same skin color as her. However, I know what I am allowed to post legally and we'll stick with that, if you know what I mean..... Not only does she treat her staff horribly, but she is extremely rude to them all the time tells them what to do, even if it is not good for your animals. She absolutely demoralizes her staff all the time, and always blames them for something going wrong - Even though it looks like a lovely place and the staff smiles. But on the inside, it is a very horrible place and I would not bring your animal over there. Also, she causes problems and gets in the way of the employees taking care of all of the animals. It's like she really does not know what she's doing, except for only business purposes to make money. You should see the car she drives. She has a very expensive sports car and shows It Off. I even saw on the news that a news team went over there to figure out why she was getting rid of poodle rescue. I don't know what happened behind the scenes, but I can only assume that she is in charge of it completely now and that is why they still have it there. Again, lots of money in her poodle business. So please beware about this place. The workers are wonderful but they are more than overworked and seems that they are discriminated against in many different ways. No matter who they are. The owner only cares about business and money. It's unfortunate that customers are not aware of what happens behind the scenes. The owner's name is Gwinnett. And she is most definitely Too Faced between her company and her clients.

I decided to leave my puppy with Ruff Tales for a 3-week training program...and the results were incredible...my wild little puppy came back a little man...he still has work to do...but Oscar gave him an amazing foundation that I can continue building on at home. I'm beyond pleased with the progress and the professionalism shown throughout the entire process...I already plan to bring my pup back for a follow-up in about four months. My dogs are accustomed to being around, just our family and don't always be friend new people readily. They immediately took to the owner, Brian. Our dogs are on a diet where they have a mixture of dry and wet food that require refrigeration or freezing. That was no problem at all for the owner to accommodate. The fellas looked well cared for when my son picked them up! My son forgot to check for the dogs blankets when he picked them up and Brian kindly drove them down to the city where we live so that the dogs would have them. Before she went, I'd worked with her on sit, down, take it, leave it, and some spins with decent success. Brian took what she had and built on it, adding heel, come when called, turn, and stay. He returned a noticeably different dog. When we hit some bumps shortly after, he came back out and spent a solid hour with me going over what was actually happening...not just commands and corrections, but why she was behaving the way she was and what she needed from me to feel secure. (Spoiler: she needed me to be more confident and consistent.) He has a way of cutting straight to what matters without overcomplicating it, and more than once he said exactly the right thing at exactly the right moment. What struck me most across both experiences was how much genuine wisdom he brings to his work. He's clearly someone who has learned his craft through deep experience and observation, and it shows in every interaction with the dog and with the owner. On top of all of that, his pricing was incredibly reasonable; boarding and training combined for what many trainers charge for training alone. We felt genuinely taken care of. Kind, patient, perceptive, and exactly what we needed. Highly recommend.

We initially thought we'd foster her for adoption due to her dog aggression issues. After working with Travis, we decided togive Rosie a forever home ourselves. We brought Travis in to privately train her so she didn't have to deal with the stress of a group setting and because we wanted a tailored training program. With Lone Star Dog Training, we received an excellent job. Travis educated us about how training is important and what results he felt we could see. Over the course of 4 months, Rosie went from being aggressive toward our other dogs to feeling safe and comfortable with them. She's even adopted our 12 year old border terrier as her sister. Rosie has progressed from a frightened stray who did not wag her tail or understand how to take affection, to bounding and leaping with joy when she sees her people. She now seeks out our affections and looks forward to spending time with us. If not for Lone Star Dog Training, we would not have decided to keep her. Our trainer, Monica, was excellent with Daisy and what I loved most about her was that she would explain to us how she was training our dog and also why she would do something a certain way. A lot of times she would comment about how this reinforces some sort of behavior or would boost Daisy's confidence, etc. At one point of our training Daisy didn't take well to the previous lesson (down lesson) and Daisy wasn't receptive to the next training session and was extremely nervous and jittery. Monica picked up on this right away and instead of just charging through, took a step back to assess the situation and told us that this lesson would be free since Daisy wasn't herself and even considered bringing another trainer in. We were extremely appreciative of this gesture and found it to be very considerate and professional. We were a little nervous starting out the training because Daisy is an extremely sensitive and submissive dog, but at the end of the training (which was today) her confidence levels are much higher and she seems to be a much happier dog!!!
