The place is quite small but charming and eclectic. I wanted to sit down and stay awhile but 4 people were hogging a space that could have sat 10, which was half the available area. Why do people do this?? Anyhow... I stood at the counter and chatted up the owner about the local coffee industry while he was busy making all the drinks ahead of mine - great guy and I'm sorry I didn't get his name. By the time I got my drink, the one and only 2 seat sidewalk table had opened up, which was a good thing since he made my cortado in a ceramic cup. I sat outside and waved at strangers passing while sipping a perfectly crafted beverage with beans roasted by Rochester Coffee. Hopefully next time I visit, I can find an interior seat and continue our conversation and enjoy the art and the vibe.

Though it's been a good handful of years since then I still miss Teavana dearly. Giraffe Coffee was a fun experience and Angel, the lovely person working the shop was such a delight. Very sweet and engaging. ^__^ She prepared my small frozen blended coffee, which I had with almond milk & hazelnut syrup. Honestly, the coffee was WAY too sweet for my personal preference, but of course I still had a nice time there. The boost of energy was why I did it! It certainly provided that and a mild tummy ache afterward lol.. Next time I'll have to try one of their teas! My only reason for swinging by the mall as soon as I got off work was to do some product exchanges at another business there, which was successful. Never hurts trying someth'n new and all! Again, next time I'm trying one of their teas. It's still really weird for me knowing Teavana isn't there anymore, and honestly I don't think I'll ever be "used" to it. Later she brought me a bag of food and then after me sleeping in my vehicle for 2 days she gathered up the money so me and my dogs didn't have to sleep in the cold on the coldest days of the year this year in January of 2024 when he's going to be in the minus zero minus 60 degrees I came back to the hospital and there was money left there for me to get a room so I can stay warm and stay down here with my mom.
