Now how we even got here: Husband bought a Mother's Day gift card which entailed 1.5 hours plus tip and according to the person he purchased with was at a discounted rate for that holiday special. For Father's Day I too wanted to get him a gift card, I specifically asked for the exact same thing he bought, response was "okay but we're not offering a Father's Day discount." I said that I didn't care if it was more, I wanted everything to be the same, the amount of time plus tip and I'd pay extra. As far as I knew all was fine. The thing is they give you this card without any sort of specification, they see the transaction on their end but it's not written in their cute little gift bag they hand you. Well now we're at the point we want to book the couples massage; for whatever reason we were told we were getting a complimentary stone massage, and who are we to argue? At the time of booking we were not told of any additional fees for a couples massage. Only once we got to check out did we learn this. This is also when we learned that the card intended for Father's Day was for an hour and not the hour and a half requested. We proceed to tipping, the first card $20 was deducted with a remainder of $40, I'm asking to add an additional tip for the other card that was wrung up as one hour and was supposedly maxed out. We were told that we would have to charge the tip separately instead of using the gift card...at this point we're ready to leave, this is ridiculous. My husband has his card out ready to charge but as we're waiting for all this to be finalized I see a transaction come through for the $20 tip. We were not asked if we wanted that card used, we were not told that it would be charged right then. All in all, the lack of communication and transparency from this place is borderline robbery. It's very scammy and you will lose customers for it. We had a better transactional experience with Elements massage and were previous members there. We were hoping to give our membership to somewhere closer but if there's constant up charge and lying then there's no way.

Barely to none usage of elbows or forearms like other masseuses so it doesn't hurt. The two ladies here are always incredibly friendly and can usually accommodate same-day service. However, I strongly recommend calling ahead to confirm they are available as it can save you from unnecessary waiting. Additionally, if you're looking to save a few bucks, bring cash. Otherwise, they accepts credit card payments but there's a small fee associated with it.

Uncomfortable and thinking perhaps I was being a little cheap, I agreed to $25 (22.7%). I was then informed that the credit card machine took $5, so I needed to go higher. It finally came out that she wanted a $40 tip, which I was unwilling to give. She also called the manager in to explain to me why I needed to give a bigger tip. The massage was amazing. I felt so relaxed when she finished. The pain was also completely gone. I found my new massage therapist. I go once a week to see Martha and I feel great.
