The nursing staff were so reassuring and sweet. I'm on day 3 post op today and got to come in and see the results and CRIED. I could not believe how amazing my results are! They were able to schedule an appointment within a couple of weeks. When I went in for my appointment, the office was clean, the staff was knowledgeable, and Brittany was very kind. She answered all my questions, and gave me tips on what I need to do to reduce scarring. She was able to remove the mold the same day. It's been about a month since the mole was removed, and it is healing so well! Just a little bit of redness, and I really think the scar will be very minimal! There is the calming sound of a trickling stream because there is a beautiful rock pool with running water at the entrance on the inside of this beautiful office. One of the first things I noticed was something that I very much appreciate-that all employees, and all patients, were wearing masks. I kid you not-this was a great detail to see-they even have three pen containers, labeling which pens were clean, and which ones had been used, so they are being as careful as anyone could possibly be to keep Covid from spreading. They have not one but two front desk people greeting and working there to help patients. They are also very astute at making sure all of your paperwork and details are updated in your chart. Everything that was pre-printed was already correct in my paperwork, and they were great to have me just add any details that transpired over the year to the paperwork. They even thought ahead of time to ask for credit card information in case you wanted to pay any balance over the phone. They have multiple televisions in the office detailing services they offer, which sparked my mind to add things to speak with the doctor. I even learned about sunburns and things that I did not know before, which is very important to everyone living in California (and especially the sun-soaked desert) as we are all outside all the time. I laughed out loud no less than three times at the occasional cartoons that would come up on the TV monitor while I waited-I LOVE this, and with everything going on right now, a lot of people need a good laugh. I am one of those people that has a list when I go to the doctor. Nurse Practitioner Jessica Arnold is the absolute best, she always makes sure we go over EVERYTHING on my list. She even asked if I would like to go first, saying "let's take care of your list first." This is no small feat, for I think I had nine questions on my list! Whenever I do exactly what they told me to do, whatever skin condition I was suffering from, heals up. Nurse Practitioner Jessica Arnold is truly wonderful and very genuine, she also always asks how am I doing. I know that the medical community has been exhausted, and changed probably forever, because of the pandemic. It is a breath of fresh air to go to a doctors office where they are EXCITED to help patients, are extremely good at what they do, and treat their patients with so much kindness. I feel like I've gone to meet my friends when I go there. I truly could not ask for more from his practice. Every time I have gone into this office, I have gotten the same respectful and kind demeanor and top level medical care. They also do take Medicare. I recently met with Dr. Roberts for the first time to go over a chronic five year undiagnosed…read moreproblem involving an acute skin irritation. I had consulted specialists over the years, including multiple Dermatologists, allergists, primary care doctor, rheumatologists and a neurologist and a had a biopsy, all came up with NOTHING. They all recommended I see another specialist, I was left with a "rash-less itch" effecting my scalp, ears and chest. Dr. Roberts suggested I go on an elimination diet because she suspected it could be a food allergy. I actually doubted this diagnosis but I was desperate so I went on the elimination diet which isn't fun, I noticed no improvement for a week and a half andI had little confidence that it would work. Then suddenly the itching ceased!!! Basically a 90% improvement!!I It's been a month now. I have added back things on the elimination diet and I am now convinced it is a reaction to something that I am eating. In my first euphoria of not having the itch. I estimated it was 90% better. I would now more accurately, describe it as varying day-to-day depending on what I've eaten from 80 to 90% better which is still an incredible improvement on my life because it also had a positive affect on my sleep, aches and pains of arthritis and seasonal allergies. All have gotten noticeably better. In hindsight, it seems like a simple solution, but apparently it wasn't that simple because all the other specialists for five years simply recommended seeing another specialist. I owe Dr. Roberts great debt of gratitude. 5 stars.
