Huge store with tons of options ! They have everything you can possibly think of or need from groceries , fresh seafood , dishes , prepared food .

GALBI

Pretty big hmart location, alot bigger than what they have in new york. whole variety of seafood as well as a new built japanese bakery inside the market. Fresh produce and vegetables. Snacks and frozen varieties of any kind as well as a small food court inside with a decent selection of asian alcohol. We mostly come here to get the beef rib meat to use for our homemade galbi as well as the other ingredients needed. could be cleaner, but other than that great market to stop by to.

30% off premade food items at the end of the day

This H Mart is located in the same plaza as Mr. Bakery and Ebisu. My husband and I decided to make a visit to this market for some grocery shopping this late afternoon. We arrived a little after 4:35 pm. This H Mart does seem smaller than the ones I have shopped at back home in California. Also this H Mart does not really have a food count, but you are able to purchase premade foods and meals. As we were shopping and browsing areas of the store, we were actually pretty surprised to see that premade meals were already marked down by 30%, even though this was around 5 pm (and the store closes at 9 pm). Definitely a good deal, we ended up picking up a few meals and also some gimbap. I wished our local H Mart would discount their premade meals at the end of the day (as we will sometimes shop at our local store an hour before closing). Shopping at this H Mart does the basic job (we also ended up purchasing some vegetables and meat that we ended up cooking back at our Airbnb for dinner). But it did feel rather cramp in certain areas, as boxes were just stacked up, making the aisles narrow. Overall, this is just an okay H Mart, but would prefer to shop at the larger ones local to me.

Haven't been here in a while as I'm the only one who eats the Asian snacks and food now. I can't finish quantity so one shopping trip lasts me a while. They're busy but they keep up with stocking and always have interesting items. I really like the hot pot box with the different ingredients in it. And the kpop demon hunters ramen choices. Waiting to see what lunar new year goodies will be sold. The self checkout is better than the 15 items or less cash register lane. We only had two items so it was nice to have this option since the lines are long.

This place is so fun! So many options we don't have at traditional grocery stores. We had a blast checking it out! I

They need to figure out how to deal with the long lines, ie you shouldn't have to wait 20 plus minutes to get through the checkout. Product and selection is diverse but at what cost? Not sure I would go back.

Love that this store exists. If you're looking for a wide selection of international foods this is your spot. Sometimes I just come here for their kimbap, it's that good, and I was pleasantly surprised that they recently started selling Latino desayunos/antojitos like popusas. Do not come here in a rush because there is so much to see and it is usually super busy. Also it is sometimes hard to find things and the staff is not always the most helpful, however, all of the yummy food makes up for it.

Iced coffee like at the convenience stores in Korea! :)

H Mart is the largest U.S.-based grocery store chain that specializes in Asian-style products and has various locations throughout the U.S. and internationally. They originally opened on the east coast in NYC back in 1982 and has expanded to nearly 100 locations. This store in Denver is the OG for me as it was my first introduction to the grocery chain in the early 2000s when I lived in Colorado. I recently visited again and surprisingly, not much has really changed. They are known for their Korean products, but they also carry a lot of other Asian products from Thai to Filipino and many more. It's really a one-stop shop for all the things. I love all the different banchans, cuts of meat for bbq, and the snackies. SO many snackies! My favorites are the Jaws Ice Bar by Lotte, sikhye, and the crispy grain rolls. I was also super excited to see the Korean convenience store coffee pouches that went viral last year. I didn't realize it was a thing when I was in Korea and missed out on the trend, lol. The coffee is in a plastic Capri Sun-style pouch that's filled with pre-made coffee and meant to be poured over ice. My husband and I tried some out and it was good! Wish I had the chance to go back for more and try more flavors. All in all, this is a great store for all your Asian grocery needs. They pretty much have everything you can think of, including household goods, fresh, live seafood, and random knick knacks. Being from Hawaii, everything here is incredibly affordable compared to home.

Live lobsters, crabs, and more!

I don't know what I would do with myself without this HMART. No seriously there are many items I would have to pay either 5 times the price to get them online or go all the way to Westminsters HMART location! I've been familiar with Hmart for a while since they had them in the DC area where I used to live. This location is pretty good! They keep everything well stocked. This location also doesn't smell that bad. Sometimes with the live fish and all the seafood they have here these locations can get quite smelly but I think this location does a good job in cleanliness. My favorite grocery in the area. The prices are pretty good too!

Awesome selection of food and herbs and seasonings and funky things hard to find elsewhere! They keep the place fairly clean and have people all over the store to help out. Most don't speak English but I can use my smartphone translations to help me. Haha I LOVE this place.

Took my daughter-in-law to H-mart since she was visiting and loves Asian food and wanted some snacks. So many plentiful options. I have never seen so much fresh produce in one venue! We had a great time perusing the aisles of the store and were impressed with the value of prices for many of the products. Even though lines at registers appeared long, they moved quickly. Signs showed that customers are expected to bag their own purchases.

Wandered into this H Mart and was extremely pleased!!!!! The produce section here is amazing, definitely one of the best in Colorado. The store is also very organized and clean so it was super easy shopping for my list and not getting overwhelmed. The cashier was nice too but this store ! AMAZING! highly recommend going here! They also had the viral mango and peach ice creams that are all over tiktok.

They always have everything that I need in stock! They could use more marking on the floor for the checkout area to direct the long lines.

Is the food court open during the pandemic? 2021?

It was open for "to go" a couple weeks ago.

Does this h mart take ebt?

Yes

Do they carry Yuzu juice/sauce?

Yes, they do.

Has the food court/cafe opened back up yet? Or does anyone know when it'll be open?

Hmart in Aurora is expecting to be opening up their food court in mid to late July 2019

I've watched more than one car back into another trying to escape a space that was clearly designed for a smaller crowd than this place actually pulls in. If you're coming, budget an extra minute to ease out slowly and watch your mirrors. Once you're inside, though, it's a different story. This is where I go for halal ground beef, lamb, and chicken on a regular rotation, and the quality has never once let me down -- everything's fresh, well-trimmed, and clearly turned over fast enough that nothing sits. The market itself is easy to navigate, genuinely clean, no overwhelming meat-counter smell, no piped-in music competing with your thoughts -- just a well-organized space that gets out of your own way while you shop.

Meats and cheeses were abundant at the counter; there was a good variety of typical Middle Eastern products and some products I had not seen before. The ordering at Edris is done either online or on screen pads in the restaurant which also doubles as a small Mideastern specialty market.. there are a half dozen tables but I get the impression many people take the food to go. There's about a dozen different entrée plates available and all were between $8 and $12 with an ample portion of grilled protein to choose from including vegetarian falafel and all come with a lot of basmati rice, a few french fries, a small salad and be sure to get more of their delicious tzatziki sauce and take a bottle to your table or for takeout get some on the side!! And I do mean GRILLED which is a term used rather loosely by restaurants these days.. Edris has an old school woodfired grill that imparts a nice smoky flavor to all their grilled meats. I ordered a combo kebab plate of chicken and lamb. The meats were juicy, nicely grilled and delicious and everything on the entire platter was so good!! I walked into GW Supermarket looking for one thing -- mango puree -- and walked out having found…read moreeverything except that. That's the honest headline of this place: it's enormous, and it's stocked with sections for African, Indian, Jamaican, Japanese, Korean, and half a dozen other countries' pantries, and somehow the one basic thing I came in for wasn't on a shelf anywhere. I asked two different staff members if I was missing it, and both actually walked the aisle with me to check rather than just pointing and shrugging. No luck that day, but the effort mattered. Most of the packaging in here isn't in English, and if you're the type who needs to read every label before buying, budget extra time. But that's part of what makes it worth the trip -- this isn't a store dumbing itself down for anyone, it's a store built for the communities it actually serves, and the labels reflect that. If you get stuck, staff will come find the item with you instead of just gesturing toward an aisle number. Heads up walking past the seafood section: there's a real smell there, but it's the honest smell of fresh fish, not anything spoiled or off. If you've spent time in any proper seafood market, you'll recognize it immediately and it shouldn't put you off -- it's not a red flag, just a strong one. Prices are genuinely good for the volume and range of product you're getting, and the sheer scale of the place means you could shop here weekly and still find something new every time. It's a little chaotic in the best way -- more discovery than errand. Who it's for: anyone cooking outside the standard American grocery aisle, anyone who wants ingredients for a specific regional dish and is tired of substituting, and anyone who just likes wandering a store that clearly wasn't designed by committee. Go in with time to browse, not a tight list -- and maybe don't count on the mango puree. 4.5 stars, rounding to 4 -- knocked half a point for the miss on a pantry staple in a store this size, not for anything the staff did.
