Could be for deer season, or rebuilding the range, all needed, but there is no way to find out until you pull in the driveway. Once they had a sign up saying they were going to open an hour late. There were over twenty people waiting, and we were some of the last to leave, two an a half hours later. They have no website or working telephone. They explained that the phone is for calling out in an emergency. There isn't any way to contact them. The last time I was there, the gates open at11:30 and shooting starts at 12:00 and goes to 4:00 PM. Between 11:30 and 12:00, the range master explains the safety rules. The charge was $10.00 for the day and teens under eighteen were free with a FOID card holder supervision. The only drawback was the lack of communication!

My first experience was positive; the shooting range officers were courteous and helpful. My 2nd experience at this shooting range was terrible. I was at the 50-yard range when they switched range offices in the late afternoon. The new range officer was an old guy, and he made my experience at this shooting range terrible; unlike the other range officers who were helpful and courteous, this range officer was rude and ignorant. I had planned on going to this shooting range in the future, but because of this one range officer who was disrespectful, rude, and ignorant to me. I will never go to this shooting range again.

They have both indoor and outdoor ranges (including shorter range shooting with concrete walls so you have your own space), and a whole cowboy action setup. I really like the walled section myself. The grounds are kept up, and they seem to be expanding more and more (like the cowboy action setup). If you are into target shooting and are looking for a regular place to put holes in something, this is a great spot!

Todd was super informative and helpful. Overall, it seems like a solid place to shoot; and I might consider doing so in the future. My only concern though, was the overpowering smell of weed. Regardless, I'll likely come in to shoot--assuming I don't get banned after this review.
