After failing…read moreseveral times I'm happy to report, with the help of the talented and patient staff, I got up and rode for my first time! Came here with my family and we had an absolute blast. Very cool park set up with a cable system. It's tough to initially get the feel of taking off from a dead stop on the dock, but I do like the fact you're level with the water. Once you get a feel for it, the turns are also difficult (for a newbie) but not impossible. For the advanced riders, they have tons of features to ride on (or jump off of). As mentioned, the staff are friendly and helpful. They are all VERY good wakeboarders so they know their stuff. You can bring your own gear or rent from them. They have slow speed sessions or normal sessions, so if you're a beginner, go for the slow. A few small criticisms I had that would be easy to fix: -We came for a slow speed session and I was bummed they bumped up the speed halfway through the session right when I started getting the hang of it and I started falling again. I wish they wouldn't advertise a speed and then change it midway. They did bump it back down at the end of the session, which was good. -I think they need a little more padding on the shore by the first turn. If you fall there, to get onto the shore, you need to walk over rocks and they're painful on bare feet. -Our two younger nephews got a small burn on their shoulder from the life jacket rubbing against them? the adults were fine so not sure what that was about. All in all, a very positive experience for us and Rockford is very lucky to have a place like this! Can't wait to come back!

As I…read morehad no place to store a boat at that point in time, my salesman, Parker, indicated they would hold the boat for me until the weather broke. That gave me plenty of time to make room to park the boat at my property. There was no storage fee for this. A big advantage for me was that because they are a marina, when I went to pick up boat, Parker took me out on the lake and showed me the nuances and safety features of operating the boat. Again, this was my first time owning a boat, so being able to pick up my boat at the dock vs a dealer's show room was a big plus. As often happens with a new vehicle, weather it be a car or a boat, I had a couple minor problems, e.g. a defective battery. I had also broken a couple of the tire down clips and the winch was bent which made bringing the boat onto the trailer difficult. I contacted Parker, who introduced me to Greg the Service Manager. Greg is a great guy and really easy to get along with. He offered to fix everything, albeit much of the work was under warranty, with no fuss or condescending "how did YOU do this?", or otherwise implying everything was fault. I can't say enough about what great guys Parker and Greg are to work with. At no time did I feel pressured to buy anything. Both guys are eager to help and readily available to answer questions. Parker was extremely patient in dealing with my "newbie" phone calls! One while actually on a lake fishing! If you are in the market for a new boat, definitely check these guys out.

I told him we'd paid for it and hadn't picked up the boat and that he needed to find our property and HE LAUGHED AT ME and said he wasn't interested in finding my property. He then had his secretary or office manager call me back to tell me that everything was paid WEEKS ago and to confirm that we picked up the boat. I told her we hadn't and about Tom's response. She ultimately found our boat and we have it now, but we will NEVER do business with them again. I like to give local businesses my business when I can. So on Friday the 21st. I talked with Jarrett and made an inquiry about a boat they were consigning. He said he'd ask the individual that night. I hand heard back from him on Saturday and it was approaching the last 45 mins.. of the shops hours so I decided to ask in person . I couldn't make a deal on that particular boat . At that point Jeff spoke up and referred to a boat he'd would sell me for 2k. I looked at it and told him I liked it but would he take a sporting good item on partial trade. He agreed that he would look at my item .I told him id go get it ( I just lived up the block and told him I could be back in just a couple min. There was 20bmins. Left in his day. He said " im not looking at anything today" and to bring it in on Monday. So Monday comes i pack it up around 945 am and bring it in. I was greeted with im to busy I have stuff I have to get this done. Myself not wanting to take it back home and then later in the day( 3pm per Jeff) load up and come back. I had a few preliminary questions​​ I needed answers to ask him that could save us some time and trouble in the long run. So I asked for just a couple minutes to clear up things. After a couple questions. I got a statement I never thought id hear from a retail dealer. He said Yah know im pretty nice to point and then....) I was like wow a couple minutes and im making you mad ? His response was " you are getting there" I was shocked and per him he wasn't working on something directly for a customer. All I wanted originally was for him to look at my item for a couple min. And we agree on the difference id pay or we wouldn't. No hard feelings . I reminded him that we could take care of paperwork later if need be. I had out of town plans id have to cancel if I waited until he wanted to help me . At that point he started referring to me as "honey"​ .three different times he called me honey. He finally said what did I want to pay difference. I told him and was counting my item 300.00 under what I had in it. His statement was aFirm " No" !! And he stated that "he doesn't mind negotiating , but he wasn't doing Bullshit" and said come back at three o'clock honey!!!. I work in a boat shop part time and have been in retail many times in my 63 years. I / we never talked to customers that way. I would have been fired. Needless to say I didn't make my three o'clock appointment he dictated. And I sold my item for a fair price and will be taking my business elsewhere. And not be recommending m& m to anyone. I do have to say the only positive was that Jarrett was nice , friendly and understanding.

They have Clinton Marina gear, represent with the tank tops, shirts, sweatshirts, towels, and so much more! The entrance is next to the Candlelight Inn entrance, all of the windows downstairs look into the store. The workers are all very friendly, and the manager Jean makes you laugh and feel like you're welcome there. I always see her working nonstop and I swear she's always there when I stop in! There are plenty of slips both reserved and temporary, there are covered slips a little further in. The docks seem secure. It's the perfect place to fill up your boat and head up to the Marina to pick up some goodies. Fellow boaters are always friendly and have great stories to tell. Sometimes it's nice to go there and hang out under the stairs looking at the beautiful Mississippi. Highly recommend the Clinton Marina!

Instead of charging us the deposit fee and signing a contract. They are charging $300 to replace the NON secure cowl. After we went and looked for it in the water. Not our fault but we have to pay. Teenager that we went through to rent boat had no clue what he was doing. Teenager did not check to make sure everything was working or ok. Very poor way to run a business. What was to be a fun experience for our family has now become an expensive nightmare!

I was charged 1600 for detailing, and the boat was still filthy on the inside. I spend several hours cleaning it after I picked it up. Secondly, a part was fixed last year before going into storage. The first time we took the boat out on Lake Michigan this year, the part failed and we were stuck in high waves on the lake. I called to let them know, asked them to work with me on the issue, because I was now 3 hours away..... I was basically told too bad, it was now my problem... The guy actually argued with me, and interrogated me as if I did something wrong. Obviously because I'm a female. Don't waste your time and money. Find another place.
