I had to create a Yelp just for this: a long Pharmacy complaint. I have read a few others and completely agree. My family, friends and I have been going to this Pharmacy for almost 10 years. We were excited about the remodel, thinking it would put a pep in everyone's step that worked there... we were wrong. Firstly: the staff. The faces have not really changed there over the years, and the staff remember us by name usually. Thats a plus. However the attitudes have changed. The staff frequently is just sitting around on their phones, eating or seemingly hiding out of view where the customers can't see them and they can't see us. There have been more times than i can count that I have stood at the counter and watched a line form behind me because no one is paying attention. A pharmacy in a grocery store is supposed to be convenient, but I end up waiting longer to have someone notice me needing help than I do for my prescriptions to be filled. One time my husband said "excuse me" after he and I stood at the counter for almost 5 solid minutes. when the long haired blonde girl, her name was Shelby I think, looked up from her phone, she had an attitude with us the entire interaction, like it was an inconvenience for her to help us. I deal with sassy teenagers all day at home, I don't need to pay for that service at my pharmacy. This is the same girl that gave us, our friends and even our kids attitude when we were inquiring about covid shots. Her and the shorter pharmacist, who was awful to us, made us all feel so unwelcome and guilty for even asking that we all went to CVS down the road, where they were more than happy to help. then there is the issue of "casual conversations" that can be heard by my family and children as we shop outside the many windows of the Pharmacy. I have had to scoot my cart with my children quickly away from ear shot because of the language/topics we overhear. I almost said something to the store manager, but my husband stopped me in fear of somehow being retaliated against since we use the pharmacy. The last experience I had there this week will be the last experience I have there. I went to pick up my child's adhd medication. the young blonde girl who I didn't recognize, helped me first was very nice, and helped me to a point, but she is new I am assuming, and tried to ask the pharmacist a question when she got stuck. The shorter woman pharmacist wouldn't even come over to help her & yelled something rude to her and goes "well I'm busy they are just going to have to wait" to which I could tell this poor girl was embarrassed. She kept apologizing to me, I told her I would shop then come back in 30minutes. I felt bad for her. When I got back to the counter per usual no one noticed I was there. I watched the normal long haired girl sit on her phone for 6 minutes (I counted) before she finally noticed me she greeted me with her usual attitude. Told me it would be another 20 minutes before I could pick up my child's medication, to which I could not believe, I was very annoyed. I told her i already was waiting, which apparently annoyed her, because she went on the computer and started reading all the times I have filled my childs medication out loud for everyone to hear as if to shame me into shutting up. I was so embarrassed & angry I walked away. If the staff has time to be on their phones all the time, why do I have to consistently wait and come back for my families medications? It is so inconvenient. My family and I also love HEB, but the staff at this pharmacy are so unprofessional and rude, It is ruining us even wanting to shop at the store. We were trying to stick it out until the new WalMart is built, but I don't think I can. I feel I cannot complain to the pharmacist because they seem just as rude if not ruder than their staff. I actually tried a month ago to talk to the other woman pharmacist about my concerns, but when I started off with a question about masks, she practically yelled at me saying masks were stupid and pointless. It was not something I wanted my children to hear from a "healthcare professional" since I have a hard enough time getting them to wear their masks. Okay, can someone tell me why I'm not allowed to take pics in this store?? Prices are cheap here with their birds, man. They cook it good too. Prices here are cheap for foods, not so much on beauty products. They're average priced compared to CVS, unless you're buying the generic stuff. Got a lot of weird looks from people handing out samples and our cashier most likely because we're Asian. Their personalities changed before and after we entered their presence. Definitely gave off happier vibes after when left the area, even though we didn't do anything but get our groceries and left. Didn't appreciate that at all. read more

Pharmacy sucks!! 5/10/2018 My wife has cancer and we need a medicine ASAP. I went to the HEB 620 Round Rock Texas and they said they were working on it and I needed to wait for 20 min. After 20 min they said they made a mistake and they dont have the medicine in stock, They checked the system and told me they have in at HEB Plus at Palm Valley . I went there with a terrible traffic, when I ask for the medicine at Palm Valley ,they said they did not have the medicine in stock. This bunch of lairs were playing with me. I came back to the HEB 620 Round Rock Texas and the manager, another BIG liar, told me another BIG lie. The doctor did not send the prescription which is totally false.The pharmacy attendant gave me all the details about the doctor and the prescription. I purchase all my groceries and medicines in this store. This is the last time I visit an HEB!!. I respect people when they said the true and recognize they make a mistake and try to fix it, but when the manager tries to give you more bull Crap to cover their inefficiencies, for me they dont deserve any respect!!. You can buy wherever you want, but in my case.. I am done with this bunch of lairs!! read more

Clean HEB, organized well, but sometimes earlier in the week, the stockers are everywhere blocking the aisles. Management seems to always be present to assist. Good sales. Friendly staff. read more

This HEB has been pretty reliable since I started going to it about 10 years ago. Doesn't usually get quite as busy as the one at 1431 and Parmer, but doesn't have quite as wide of a selection. Sometimes the prices seem to be lower at this HEB as well. read more

Store is always clean and well stocked & the employees are helpful and courteous. I love my HEB!!!!!!

HEB is always so clean and their groceries are always so fresh! They are extremely customer service driven and I always enjoy my time spent in any HEB store I visit! They will go out of their way to make you happy and make sure that they have every item you may need. This is where I do all of my grocery shopping! read more

I'M UPDATING FROM 1 TO 3 STARS BECAUSE THEY'VE GOTTEN BETTER SINCE THE INCIDENT BELOW. This review is for the Pharmacy at this HEB only. The might very well be the worst I've ever dealt with. They're lack of communication between themselves and your Doctor and themselves and you is just baffling. We've tried for 4 days to get a simple medicated shampoo. Here we are on the 5th day and no one at this Pharmacy had any idea what we're calling them about. They evidently do not leave any electronic notes regarding your communications to them nor do they actually ask your Doctor for a refill on your behalf. In fact EVERYTIME you call them it's like you're a brand new customer and they've no idea what you are calling about. On the flip side, once you've muddled through this lack of customer service and actually get any medication you've been trying to obtain. You can look forward to repeated automated phone calls telling you that your order is ready for pickup sometimes two days AFTER you've picked it up. read more

I've worked in grocery stores in multiple departments and have never seen such a poorly stocked store. Every time I ask for assistance first off good luck finding someone second if you do they act so bothered on top of that most people who work in each department really have no idea where anything is. There's always all kinds of management/employees by the check stands, but don't ask them for help socializing with co-workers is far more important. To top it off although I've been told they are trained to bag groceries but my bread still ends up crushed and in bags with other items that definitely don't belong together. Also there's a standard they are supposed to follow it's called facing which means you put the older in front of the new that way customers get fresh products that aren't bad or expired, not this location the stockers are too busy on thier phones or yet again fraternizing with fellow co-workers. I truly cannot say enough good things about heb. I definitely make a couple of trips per week and will continue to do so. I recently read a Forbes article praising the company for its treatment of employees and dedication to rewarding them. This makes me trust them even further with all of the grocery needs of my family. read more

So glad to have this store so close by. Always friendly and helpful customer service. The pharmacy is quick and convenient.

I can't imagine a better grocer. The products are always good, the prices fair, and they give back to their staff, and to the community.

Can you say "Monopoly"? HEB is clearly trying to become the Wal-Mart of grocery stores. The selection is very Texas centric and does have a wide variety of that, but when it comes to other types of food, yeah, you are not going to find it. read more

Right next to work, it's kinda hard to rate a grocery store but I'm here all the time and have no issues ever

I have learned ways to shop there way less. First, I grow more of my own stuff. Second, I go to other places that have the same products with nicer people. Third, if I have to go to an HEB, I go to a location outside of the one on Hwy 79/Palm Valley. Fourth, I only go if I need an ingredient or product that they carry, that no one else carries. There have been many, many, many experiences with rude and inconsiderate employees, slow cashiers, and hostile customer service workers. Glad to have found ways around this place. Not a friendly place to be, and it's usually a horrible and stressful shopping experience. read more

Go to this heb because it's close to my house and recognize a lot of the workers and say hi as I go pretty often. My only complaint is the baggers always seem to overstuff our groceries when checking out. We have had many times when the bags break and I live in a second floor at an apartment. I always have to tell them before they start to NOT OVERSTUFF but still seem to have to watch them. read more

This is my closest HEB and unfortunately, I go to 1431 and Parmer now. Love the people, but they are ALWAYS out of something. I really wish HEB corporate would take a look at these reviews and fix the problem. I have lived in this neighborhood for 10 years and it used to be good. If they took something off the shelf, you could just mention it to a cashier and the next week it would be back, but that all changed about 4 years ago. It has slowly gotten to the point of so many items out of stock it is useless to count on this store having everything I need. read more

My favorite place to shop for groceries. Great selection. Best prices. Energetic helpful staff. Avoid the crowds on Sunday afternoon, otherwise a great experience. read more

The folks here are great. The prices are affordable. The vegetables are fresh as garden grown.

Great store! Great variety and prices. The HEB Plus stores also carry electronics and other home good also.
